Of cause it didnt work, its not for galaxy ace. Don't flash things that are for different phones.
i know that iss not for ace... but it must be possible to transport the settings to ace..
its only an other lockscreen an the phone said fc.. thats all... all other stuff works..
but i`m an c# and c++ programmer and have java experiece...
not exactly dude, all the patches or themes which work with other phones may not work with ace..
there are lot of things to be considered, for eg : processor speed, ram, resolution.. etc etc.. so dont think themes that may work with other devices should work wit ace too
this iss no theme....
only all black background are white and not black... this all what i want... like statusbar and settings and the okay/canel windows shold be white with blue text
thats all what i want..
it must be possible...
but i will try it my self..

Yes it could be possible to port this to ace, but the package is for another phone is very unlikely to work with ace.
I wasn't suggesting that this wouldn't be possible for ace.
Just that its not surprising your getting problems, your lucky your phone boots.

actually its not for CM7 but for CM9, so its not for anyone phone without CM9, if you are using CM9 on Galaxy Ace (last nightly build with theme support) you maybe can use this one.

Yeah but it was a CWM package not using the CM9 theme engine.
It iss no Theme.... these are modded apk`s...
but i have first affords ..
a few apps are working...

unless a common framework is used (cm7) nothing will work without being ported
but will surely come with time

Themes can be ported, quite easily in fact. Find some themes you like and I will port them for you.
There wont be many ports but plenty of new themes coming...
Its a little early for this thread...
You cant even flash a theme on stock SGS 2 yet..
We need some cooked roms first

Thanks for the offer... other poster you r wrong... you don't need custom Roman for themes or modified framework. Here is a framework from sgs i stock rom.. I would like the transparent notification bar and battery and wifi and silent/ speaker and GPS icons, 3g etc. from this framework in my sgs III.
check the modification times for all icons in res/drawable-hdpi for the list of icons/pngs.. that i would like integrated into the sgs ii stock rom.. thanks again.

I really dislike the look of TW4 theme, and was wondering if there is a theme for KPN made from the old Froyo?
If there isn't would anyone be kind enough to make it? I'm good with Android and all, but I can't do theming, P.S. It needs to be for Samsung Stock Recovery and I'm not rooted *yet* :L

Try to manually mount /system and then flash it.
no no, I couldn't add the TW3 status bar icons to the kitchen, they all failed upload.. And
I'm not rooted or modded so I can't unless I use ADB, Which I won't be able to do untill tomorrow

You should try rooting your phone, for us SGA users it's just as easy as clicking an button (literally). Much more troublesome for some HTC users.

I had my old phone rooted (LG GT540) and flashed with CM7, I loved CM7, but as it's not available for the Ace yet, I'm just going to leave it because I like the stock look,
I know how to root it I just don't want to yet :L I'm going to flash CMW sometime soon

Well, I guess we all have our reasons. How about trying GO launcher instead of actually flashing a new theme?

Huh? GO launcher laggy? Shouldnt be a problem on ace. But if you ever feel like rooting, get GingerReal 1.1.0 KPN and install V6 (aggressive mode). The best combination i've ever used, no lagg at all using GO launcher.
I had V6 on my old phone and OC'd, But I removed it, never needed it, I only really use it for music, blogging, twitter+facebook and texting, and aloooooooot of internets
Go launcher never lags. In fact Regina 3D is laggy as hell. Since you stated you're "good with android and all" why do you request someone to make a stock recovery zip for you? Rather weird...

GO launcher actually does lag alot. And regina works flawless on my phone. I am good with Android actually, just not good with theming actually, specifically UOT kitchen. I can theme CM7 from scratch and am currently in the process of making a theme for SwiftDroid (GT540 CM7) so there. And the reason for stock recovery and unrooted is because my phone works perfectly and im not missing any rooted functions from my old phone. So yeah. If you wanna slabber, think again mate. I hate people who just assume. And GO launcher is crap aswell, TW launcher is far better.

That's weird then. What rom are you using? Touchwiz is laggy in the app drawer. Maybe it's your experience with the older versions of golauncher? Because what I'm using now has zero lag.
Anyway why not try replacing image pngs from froyo to your own framework.apk? You won't find the icons in uot. And sorry for the flare.

Im using Stock KPN H3G (3 UK) , Three customise their roms for performance and all, It doesnt matter anymore, and I tried replacing the .pngs but it got stuck in a bootloop (it was signed and all) so I had to push stock framework through ADB and im sorry too

So branded phones have custom roms, that's new to me. Are you able to debrand safely?
I dont know, but theres honestly no point because I came from the GT540 which was fully unlocked bootloader wise and had fastboot so Ive no clue about Odin and the CSC's and If I was to debrand I'd loose the custom MTU and 2G would be completely useless and where I live im stuck on 2G so its classed as national roaming and is way slower without mtu changed :/

Kinda ironic Three doesn't have 3G... did you see redmaner's thread in development section on multi-csc? Maybe that'll help... I came from the x10 mini pro which doesn't have so many complications as well. But luckily for me my country's carriers don't brand/lock phones.

that's because RC3 is AOSP and not samsung based.
which apps are missing?
but there must be ways to install samsung apps on AOSP ?

tried it again
it worked
but gamehub is not working
and sometimes it kinda boots my device....i mean the ics bootscreen shows up for about 10-15 sec and thats it...no kernel logo...nothing
I love miui but the past 5 builds it wont let me ring out :S it can dial a number and i can get into my contact but as soon as i click a contact or click call it just closes...... i dont know why either...
any help would be really appreciated...
Re download the ROM and do a clean install. See if that helps.

I done that i even waited for the next release... ive installed the 5 past builds more than once the 2.8.10 build i redownloaded it 3 times done full wipe and installed it again... i tried fixing permissions in recovery and all that stuff
i seriously dont know why it wont work...

That a strange. Try a different ROM like cm10. And see if u have the same issue.

Im currently using AOKP and its working fine and yes its very strange
Not to be a jerk... but here I go; I find that 99% of the issues reported using MIUI are because of the MIUI ROM. It was GREAT about a year ago, but there are so many obvious issues that just are not being fixed, like the broken themes app, many of the settings panels, your issues that you mentioned, the all-to-common Chinese character in the English version, and the one thing that bothers me the most... the HORRID orange color theme in the default theme (which happens to have my favorite lockscreen, icons, fonts, and wallpapers).

You have a good point there but the theme app has been fixed just that the online themes are all for the old miui version and not v4 so most of the themes dont apply properly... and the chinese characters are extremly annoying so you have a good point they dont fix the issues fast enough...

Pretty nice port. I like xperia launcher but it seems to lag a little bit. It might be my base rom of xylon. I am not sure.

Btw, I think ThilinaC have a modded HS which removes the theme option in Xperia Launcher, so it doesn't lead to FCs. I think it will be great to implement it while the theme engine doesnt get ported. Also, the visualizer not working could be because of a missing library. I can't recall the name of the file now, but I used to have it working on every port of Xperia apps I've messed with.

We are working on the mod, were implementing new things currently. We already have had like 3 ROMS Xperia Roms.

you are using stock rom, which doesnt support theme manager, thats why you dont have the sony theme and icons.
also, sony select is in the buggy list.
