Hi
How can i keep autobrightness ON?
Can seem to get it to stick on OneX, before it was just to not quit the cam with the back button, but now it does'nt help.

Mine does this also.
Certain things seem to turn Auto Brightness off.

Keyboard backlight?

Hey all,
When I slide out the keyboard of my device the backlight didn't work. When there is enough light this is not a problem, but in the dark the backlight is still off. How can I get the auto-sensor working again like it did in the stock ROM?
I've turned off the auto-sensor now so the backlight does work, but I think it's a waste of battery when it's always on.

[Q] application for turning sensors off.

Is there a way to turn off sensors? I noticed in logcat that even though I have brightness set to stay at one level the sensor still acts like it is on. Also the accelorometer starts and stops at will.
If you goto menu->settings->display->brightness you can choose to turn off auto-brightness. I don't know if you've done this already or not. Can't help with the accelerometer.
Yes that's how I have it set. It still shows on logcat that it's reading the light and adjusting the brightness or so it thinks it is but my setting overide it.

[Q] setcpu causing screen to dim. solutions??

So basically I just rooted my phone and flashed to cyanogen mod 6.1 and I'm loving it. Thanks xda for the rooting and flashing process. I decided to go into overclocking my mytouch slide and everything seems to work perfect except for the fact when I turn off my screen and turn it back on the screen is at the dimmest setting it can get. I reset the brightness back to how I want it and then turn off the screen again and turn it on, and it reverts back to the dimmest setting. I booted up without having setcpu running and the screen settings stay the same after I turn the screen on and off. has anyone found or seen this before?? And if so, is there a solution to this problem??
Thanks
I've never heard of setCPU causing that problem. You may want to trouble shoot a bit more before pinning it on that. We need to knock some things off the list of possible culprits too.
What is the brightness set to, automatic?
Custom oc kernel (dumfuq's) or what's integrated into CM?
What are your clock settings in setCPU?
What governor are you using in setCPU?
Do you have profiles set, if so, what are they?
Have you messed with the light sensor or done any custom brightness tweaks (CM settings)?
You need to answer some of those first so we can narrow it down, you may have something set up wrong. There is also the issue of the phone not coming to full brightness when you try to catch it on the screen time out (screen is off - but not locked). That's fixed by locking it and unlocking.

[Q] Blacklight not working on soft key buttons

I'm running the 8/12 build of jmz's primoC CM9. The backlight on my softkeys don't seem to be lighting up properly. When I go into settings and toggle my brightness off auto, the softkeys light up, but then they don't come back on while using the phone. When I toggle to auto, the softkeys turn off. Seems backwards...? I'm kinda stumped. Tried out Lux brightness and it seemed to fix the issue, but if I reboot the phone it gets confused again. Not a big deal during the day, but at night it's annoying to not be able to see these keys.
Anyone else having this issue? Thanks.

[Q] Reading Mode Jellykat?

Hi guys.
Any idea why reading mode doesnt work me?
I choose the apps in the setting and turn it on, but its still turn off the screen after 1 minute.
I know I can change the display duration but I only want to extend on certain apps.
Thanks.
