Hi, i have been looking all over for a way to remove contacts from frequently called list/tab, but i can't get it to work. Tested diffrent apps but non of them work on ics. Are the some magic trick to this?
Any of you folks know?

No.
...of the people, by the people, for the people...
Theres a thread around that asks/answers this question.
It will require you to have root access, since it sends commands through sqlite3, if i remember correctly.

Not sure if this has ever been posted but here it goes, I came accross these access codes that maybe can be used to possibly get tab (tmobile) to run on both 3g/voice. If anyone has ever deloped for the tab maybe this can be usefull. Would like feedback if possible.

it is time wasting, not worth to try.
it was already discussed in the sticky "modem list" thread.
Can I flash .zip themes for aokp on my black ice rom??? There is a great new theme for aokp and I wanna doeble check and make sure its compatible

Make a nandroid backup and flash it. If it breaks something then no, you can't flash it.
Does anyone else have a response that isn't "hope for the best?"
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
No one will be able to tell you that 100% your phone will be fine. It takes literally 5 minutes to nandroid, 10s to flash, 30s to boot, and then 5 more minutes to nandroid back if it doesn't work.

Then you have your answer. You can ask the themer to port the necessary files to black ice but that's about it.

No need to apologize haha I know making nandroids can be a pain but they're usually the easiest/fastest way to find out if something will work for you.

How is his reply nasty? It's the same warning posted on ant modification thread: "I am not responsible for anything that happens to you from this. Always make a nandroid".
Telling you to backup, try it yourself (which us the best way to learn), and restore if necessary is not nasty/mean/sarcastic/etc. If anything, it's one of the nicer ways to respond considering the environment on xda.

Actually adb is the fastest way to check if an app will work. It takes about 5 minutes to push the file you want, check it, and revert if it doesn't work

hey guys, i have the google music player from the new nexus dump that has been floating around the interwebs. it works fine on my s3 and it should on yours too. i have had no problems at all and no FC's. i have not yet tried this on anything apart from stock and omega, so it it works on yours, reply letting the rest of the community know
first, rename the downloaded "music2.apk" to "MusicPlayer.apk" and dont change the downloaded "MusicFX"
then go into system/app and delete your old music player, should be named "MusicPlayer.apk" and also delete "MusicFX.apk"
then simply paste both of the new files in.
set permissions for both of them to rw, r, r
and finally, reboot.
the new music player should be in your app draw
its much better than the stock Samsung one in my opinion
oh, and dont forget to backup

Perhaps you can work together and combine the files with the clear instructions in the existing thread...
It may be a re-post but he has something you don't have (yet)
We often tend to forget new people register here every day and are not as familiar with such modifications as we are.

Could not find much more info about the thread. Nor anything about CM 10. Info is sketchy at best. Galaxynote2root.com is all I could glean from the web. Anyone? Love the AOKP but no WiFi tether on that one.

well did the phone in the video look like your s3? i didn't think so. the uploader doesn't even know what he's doing.
if you had read on "many sites", then you would've discovered that it is a brand new OS that has not been released yet. and currently, the only supported device is the Galaxy Nexus. of course, ports and such will always get to the other devices, but as of now, no other device (including our Galaxy S III) are supported. if you really had read, then this thread wouldn't have been made.
not trying to be an a$$, but seriously...
I did read and I saw it was only tested for nexus on the ubuntu site also I read the headline of the video stating it was on the sg3 you are focusing on the reading aspect when in fact it was a mistake by the video poster and just cause they haven't released any type of ubuntu mobile version doesn't negate the possibility of a leak which was my original hope :/
