Hi,
I think you mean the Sense 4 multitasking.
Here there is an "how to" at the end of the OP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1633058&highlight=sense+multitasking but for the update...I don't really know and I have not tested.
In fact AOKP and LiquidSmooth have this option (I do not know about other roms).

CM9 or AOKP. The links are in the development section for your respective device.

Just make a nandroid backup of your stock ROM and try as many as you want. That's what I did with my Sprint GNex a few weekends ago since I wasn't 100% sure what I was looking for. You can always restore back to stock should you not like a ROM for any reason.
I decided on AOKP b37 and Franco Milestone 3 (now running Milestone 4)--this setup has been flawless for me with no crashes or hangs at all. In addition to my stock nandroid backup I also have four backups of other ROMs as well, should I want to try out the different functionality each one offers.
Rascream and liquid smooth are probably the two best roms.
Rascream doesn't have many options but is built from aosp and is the fastest rom out there and liquid has more options and is pretty smooth.
Thanks guys

I am very interested in this. I got a chance to play with it on the note 2 and I liked it a lot.
we have it on the galaxymod rom. it pretty cool. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2089801
Theres a verizon port in the dev section (link posted before my post) that has this feature. Having FC after install but was still able to play with the multi window. It seems nice to have but I dont know if I will take advantage of it much.

DroidPapers - available in the Play Store

I randomly found this app in the Play Store, love it so far. It houses wallpapers from a wide variety of Android phones (even back from the HTC Hero days) AAAAAAND the wallpapers from some of the more popular AOSP ROMs (aokp, CM, PA). Check it out, its free but there is also a paid version to get the stock live wallpaper library and support the dev.
