Ics motoblur launcher - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Is there anyway? I've tried a launcher in the apps section of the forum, but it just didn't look like motoblur to me. Is it possible to port motoblur?

all you got to do is download an ics motorblur rom, go to system/apps , an look for the launcher.

Didn't do the trick. I I know the process your talking about, and it's worker before with other apps from other UI roms but for some reason I can't get it to work with the blurhome. Apk

It doesent install. I've never been able to get a system app to install, and I usually just move it to system/app, and change permissions and reboot and it works. Not the case here
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda premium

It could be because its motoblur dependant.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using Tapatalk 2

Then your screwed, lol.
Only other thing you could do is port the entire rom, but good luck on that one.

Never looked at motoblur myself other than in the store but I would imagine there are some framework files and dependencies that would be required along with the apk. It's going to be more work than just copying over the launcher apk.

Yes, it is. Are you thinking that the icons and status bar aren't the same? well that's because its a LAUNCHER, not a THEME.

I can't get the launcher apk to install

OK I understand now, and it isn't like TW launcher. It is far more dependant on other motorblur stuff. I appreciate your knowledge lol.

considering the fact that the gs3 is being launced with ICS, yes, you need ICS.
Hi. But this TW launcher can't be used in ICS with AOSP. It's true???

I downloaded the 4*5 one. I didn't flash, I put the lib file in system/lib and copied the system/app files, fixed permissions and reboot. I needed to make a bit of room in 'system' and I wouldn't bother trying calendar as op says it forcecloses. Launcher runs silky smooth though - my new favorite.

If you have the Touchwiz from the apps and themes section you do not "have" Touchwiz. The mms.apk probably requires the full Touchwiz framework. Or at least more than the Themes and Apps section can provide.

If your launcher supports it it would be in launchers settings, or u can use something like wallpaper maker and add them to the bottom of a wallpaper and they will show as part of the background. I used them with go launcher and some I used woth widgetsoid as the widget backgrounds

[APP]S4 S-Voice Completely Working-No More No Network Connection

Hey Guys I wanted the S4 S-Voice App since I previously installed the version that Samsung eventually blocked, giving you a "no network connection" error. This S4 S-Voice .apk is straight from the system drawer of my friends GS4 and works flawlessly on my Note 2. I just installed over my old S-Voice but you may need to push it to your system and change permissions if that doesn't work. Enjoy!! http://db.tt/lroXNmf2

You got it
What do you push it and change permissions
Sent from my SPH-L900 using JellyBombed Tapatalk 2
Push it basically means to copy it to your system/app partition. You have to be rooted to do that. Sometimes preinstalled apps are already in your system so in order to replace the apps you have to replace the files in the same place and then give the the proper permission to run as a system app.

The directory is system/app not system/data/app and you don't always have to push it there. You should first look in system app to see if its there if it is delete it if your ROM is odexed delete that and the odex file beneath it and then reboot. Then use a file explorer to install it straight up, S-Voice doesn't have to be system it can be user only. If you continue to get a parsing error download it again. Let me know how it works out

Are you odexed or deodexed? Because if you try to use the deodexed file on an odexed rom, you will get issues.
