HTC Weather Live Wallpaper for M8?

This app is missing on HTC One M8.
Is there way to get my hands on the app, and get it work on M8?

I agree!!! I loved that stupid wallpaper! Need it back!!!

Yes, why did they remove this wallpaper and the blinkfeed 3d animation when scrolling?? HTC does make som strenge changes!
Anyway, hope someone is able to upload an apk of the live wallpaper.

I know, there are a lot of users looking forward to have this option back again.
Sometimes you really can not understand companies, why they would remove a useful feature.

i yesterday saw this live wallpaper on play store(Sky weather) which is exactly 100% same and the good thing is the animations are forever looping and we can change to any scene we like in custom settings of the app...hope this helps.i will drop the link below..sorry for my bad english

You created Sky Weather? Well I want to personally thank you. I loved that wallpaper, and I have been searching for something to take its place since it was removed. I bought it immediately. I don't care if it's copied or whatever, I care that it works and looks fine. Godspeed.

On my old M7...whn i would hit the data sync/refresh toggle... The live weather wallpaper wld refresh as well (update to current conditions). It doesnt appear that sky weather updates whn i hit the data sync toggle.....is that possible? Or do i actually have to go into settings and hit the "refresh" if i want to refresh. (I understand we can set the auto refresh rate, but i am just curious and wld be nice if it wld update whn i hit the sync toggle)

well it refreshes too 9aj9,but it is independent on data sync....you can also manually refresh as you said with in the app.....for any further doubts and tips please contact me at my mail,i would be happy to help.

Thanks, great app!
But could you add sunc with actual sunrise and sunset? In my area sunset at 22:00, now it's 19:30 and there is night wallpaper already. Original app worked fine with this.
I believe there is android API to get time of sunset, sunrise and weather.

Battery usage
Hey all,
First, I love the Sky Weather app!
Missed it since I moved to the m8.
I recognized, that the Battery usage is realy high!
Is there a special reason for that?
Somehow it looks like the app is running permanently in the background...
Would be greate if that could be fixed!

Guys,i have tried everything ...first of all the battery usage is due to GPS and running Videos as live wallpaper
i am really getting tired to fix these perfectly, gsmyth and hmmrocksz can you please suggest a method to fix these problems permanently,it would be great

Yeah, curious as to what happened as well. Was looking forward to updates as i am having a few problems related to network issues (clock is always 6 hours ahead when using network time and network time zone, can't get LTE, etc)

I only had the no video recording issue everything else worked. I wish there was a way to know what happened, so strage to habe dissapear anf not leave a warning, someone else could jave picked up the work im sure.

Agreed. LTE was flawless for me. Disabling auto time zone fixed the time, and I had to download a camera, and couldn't get tethering going. But otherwise performed great. Hoping a build comes back soon!

You can get tether with free tethering root app in play store

Need Pre-loaded HD Photos & Videos

Hello. I wanted the pre-loaded HD photos and videos of Sony Xperia X, not the wallpapers and lockscreens, but the ones which are visible in Album.
I got new phone and I just checked the Album quickly, and then I did Factory Reset, I assumed that those media files won't be deleted, my bad! But now I need them. I checked online and couldn't find. Can someone please upload it or give me any links to download it? I remember that there were 2 videos for sure and some 7-8 photos.
And are there any pre-loaded music files too?

I just wanted those multimedia files for checking the clarity. And tbh, I don't like losing such stuff, but somehow I did, so I wanted it back. If possible, please upload?

I am talking about the sample photos and videos itself I swear that it came with my phone.
No, I did not get those media files yet. Checked online, but did not find the exact stuff which my phone had.

You mean like the typical demo video that was some landscapes and then says xperia? Really I'm either blind or it doesn't come with all models. I have the EU single sim model

Quick check ! Sorry for off topic but any body does have light bleed issue on xperia X .I have on mine .Bottom right and left corner where back & recent button is. ( I will remove this if this violets rule but if someone can confirm this that would be nice)

hmm.. that's very strange. Out of all things, light bleed is what I lack of. My screen is superb. How did you get it?

I don't know how did i get it but it wasn't there before.After purchasing device then 2nd day it i noticed .
Did u test it on full brightness though? & on black display.

No i just got this devie some days ago .Everything stock not even upgraded to nougat .Even I browse through pics in gallery which are horizontal the light is still pretty much visible there.
Can u double check with what i told before?

I just ran diagnostics full brightness. nothing. Only a slight a bit brighter than the rest line on top which is almost non visible to my eye.

No than it isn't problem for you.I know what you are talking about .It's all over all xperia's screen .It's kind of backlight .
I have like bulb glowing from 2 places where the gaps are.

Notification bar icons problem.

Yesterday (09.02.2018) I got an update to 8.1 (OPM 1.171019.018).
Everything works just fine, but i noticed something weird. Night light icon and WiFi (turned off) icon have swapped.
Do you guys know what I could possibly do with it, anyone else facing similar or same problem?
And apparently I cannot add screenshot due to account restrictions.

Not really, just icon swapped, names remain the same. So It says WiFi for WiFi, but it shows night light icon and so. I wish I could show it to ya

Bypass Verizon FRP on verizon pie

Hey guys, i have a pixel 2 xl from my ex. I gave it to her and we broke up so she gave it back to me. Now im stuck on google FRP after reformatting the phone. I dont want to communicate with her anymore.
Is there any known process to bypass it?
I tried the talkback trick but there is no help and feedback button
I tried the magnification trick but there is no search button.
Im stuck.

lol no I'm not talking about that. My neck hurts from turning sideways trying to view the video. It's kinda blurry too at times. I thought I saw Talkback on the device right? Any chance of writing out the steps or too much to explain?

Watch closely on where he goes. And there are different tutorialson youtube. One of em will work for you depending on the version.
