[Q] Help for those who can.... - HTC One X

I am working on editing a Rom and trying to make the speaker ( ringtone ) louder so that what i have for example :
# -----------------------------
# speaker volume is from 20 to 31
# this corresponds to -2dB to +8dB
# -----------------------------
audio.speaker.voice.0=20
audio.speaker.voice.1=21
audio.speaker.voice.2=24
audio.speaker.voice.3=26
audio.speaker.voice.4=28
audio.speaker.voice.5=31
Comparing with Samsung Galaxy SII there is indeed a big difference in sound, i tried to find out the speaker volume in Samsung's Rom, i didnt manage to find it....
So 2 questions on my mind....
1st is this the max can htc offer (speaker volume is from 20 to 31) or i can set it for higher maybe 30 to 41.....or it will not works ??
2nd no matter how much i set the number wether 20 or 40, the sound will stay the same ?

Now one of you guys have any idea ???
Devs......anyone here ?

I haven't tested these lines but you can try
Paste these lines on system/build.prop..
This line improve the voice call quality
ro.ril.enable.amr.wideband=1
and this line Increase the volume steps in a call:
ro.config.vc_call_steps=20
by default is 7 on android devices but you can increase up to 20.

Possible fix for crackling speaker.

In CyanogenMod 13 and else custom ROMs with AudioFX equipped just set speaker like (mainly from left to right):
60 : -15,0
230 : +15,0
910 : 0,0
4K : -4,0
14k: +15,0
Worked for me in music player. I hope there's way to make these settings system-wide, so ringtones won't crackle...
Generally, stock speaker starts to crackle when there'e too much bass put on it.
Sounds like your speaker is going bad. About 4 dollars and a screwdriver, and you can fix it.

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

16k= +3
AM3D Settings:
Z-Bass= 25
Z-Treble= 50
Bongiovi DPS Settings:
Phoenix General
5: Now test some Music you will hear some scratching sounds from the Topspeaker but here comes the Magic
6: Make a phone call or just let it ring (with no Loudspeaker), and than end the Conversation and now test the same Music again
7: VOILA PERFECT CLEAR STEREO SOUND (with no scratching or strange Sounds )
Have Fun
Notes:
Volume for Loudspeaker and Headphone are increased.
When you restart your Phone you must make a Phone call or just let it ring again (WhatsApp Call is also WORKING!) to deactivate the scratching Sounds to have that perfect clear Stereo again
Works perfect with Project Meli.

Earphone sound volume boost

Hi im. Using whyred i notice that the earpiece volume. Is low while making call i want to boost the volumee of earpiece please help me..
download es file explorer ,enable root , go to Device />vendor>etc>mixer_paths , serch for path name"headset" go to rx1 digital line and change 83 to a higher value i make it 90

Low volume except in nougat .

As we all know ,zuk z2 plus has a very low speaker and ear piece.
People usually use Dolpy Atmos module to make the volume louder . It works , but I tried different versions of it but the only one that worked for me was the nougat version and now I'm stuck with android nougat because the loud volume is very important for me.
What do you use to make uour volume louder guys ? I want to update to pie but all the roms I tested have a really low volume .
