He he ! Thank you for your reply, but too easy...
After some research, I have found 2 things :
-In Adaway FAQ (attached screen shot).
So I have create the symbolic link.
-And that my data carrier APN was with a PROXY.
So I have remove it, and the data seem's to work as well.
Now Adaway work.

I just went to look for SuperSU in my icon drawer and it is not there. I have checked 4 times and rebooted. I am almost sure it was there last week. All my rooted programs work fine, and SuperSU does show up in Application Manager/All, but not in TB. Is this anything I should be concerned with? I went to SuperSU in the playstore, and there is no option to install. Thx.

There is a zip to install it. QBking77 has it on his page or in many videos, I believe. Check his "How to root SGS3."

But it is installed and working. I have root access. I just can't find the icon to open it and change settings. I wonder if I re-install it, the icon will re-appear and everything will be fine. Just don't want to lose root.

Not sure if you are still running Goodness rom but on v4.0 SuperSU was moved to settings just like the updater. Wanted to post this just in case you still needed some more info.

Thank you so much for this! Quick google search lead me here. Couldn't find supersu!
Hello, i have the opposite problem. I do not want the supersu icon showing on phone....how do i make not show up without deleting the root???? And i am not talking about just hiding like samsung has option to hide/unhide icons. I don't want icon to be found. Thanks

the only way ive ever seen this accomplished is to have supersu baked into the ROM. If you got it done another way, let us all know please!
I had the same question. The SuperSU settings can be found in the Settings menu. It was kind of frustrating when it happened to me. I noticed that the SuperSU was properly working and prompting for root access when new rooted apps were installed, but I just couldn't find the app icon itself so I can enter the SuperSU settings.
As some of you may know....... Many people are frustrated that you can't have the volume button Skip hack and have ability to use the Instagram App.......:crying: Well, I've found a quick work around without having to DL an add-on or additional script to get it to work....
If you don't have them already.... you just need the simple following:
Xposed Installer
And
TweakBox
Please click the links above for installation instructions......
1) Once, you have installed Xposed Installer and Tweakbox (Again Please Click the Links above for the directions) you would proceed with the install and selecting what you what Tweakbox to do.
2) After You Install .... YOU MUST REBOOT!
3) After the reboot, Go back to Xposed Installer and Click "Uninstall (restore app_process)"
4) DO NOT REBOOT.... IT WILL SAY YOU NEED TO REBOOT FOR CHANGES TO TAKE PLACE.... Ignore that and go about you way... You now have the ability to Skip Songs with the volume buttons with the screen off and YES you can use Instagram..
5) Enjoy and Share instagram pics!
I do not take credit for the TweakBox or Xposed Installer but just to help the fellow community out on getting these 2 apps to work.... Below is my cheesy video showing that this works.... Enjoy and don't forget to hit that Thanks Button :good:

Sorry for the late reply, but No, downloading apps has nothing to do with this tweak. Ive done this to many other S3's with nothing wrong with them.
All the methods of installing the Google Dialer on the OP5 kinda worked but would not allow the user to answer/decline calls from the notification popup. Well, did some digging on this and found a solution. This is a Magisk Module, so for those that use Magisk, simple flash and restart. Be sure you select the new Phone app as default for calls. Also, need to go in and manually set the permissions for the app.
This can be done by going to "app info" for default OnePlus phone app and disabling, then by going to Google Phone "app info" and clicking on Phone App, then on the "Configure apps screen, changing the default Phone App to the only option you should have (after disabling the default one) which is the Google "Phone". Then make sure your new Phone app has all it's permissions.
Enjoy!
Update: TWRP install method added for those not using Magisk. Just flash the zip and good to go.

Thanks can you make a non magisk flash able zip? I'm decrypted and magisk only works on encrypted setup as far I know.
Sent from my OnePlus5 using XDA Labs
Great Tweak mate! Thank you so much
I'm expecting an important call today, but will test thoroughly later.

I don't own a OnePlus 5, I have a 3 but I saw a Turkish text and decided to write. How did you get access to OnePlus 5? Have you imported it from abroad or are you living in abroad?
Brought with my friend from abroad UK

I have not tested it as I use Magisk, but it should work. Worse case is that it will still not answer from notification. Should not cause any boot loop or anything like that. Have you tried the zip? There should be no issues with it, if you have issues please let me know so I can fix it...

Can someone explain how to flash the magisk module? Flash it via TWRP or via Magisk?

You can do it either way. I prefer doing it via Magisk, but either should work.
does it vibrate when the call connects?

Thanks for taking time to make it. Just tried and TWRP throws error 6.
After digging around a bit, I've managed to get my mother in law's phone hotspotting again. I'm standing on the shoulders of Giants here, so please don't credit me with anything. I just wanted to 1) archive this in case I need to repeat it at some point 2) help others out who may need some access, but don't want to double pay for it.
Her phone is rooted with tdhite's skyhigh kernel installed and majisk module, but I was still getting the "not subscribed" error when I tried to launch a hotspot. I grabbed a root explorer and navigated to system>etc> where I found a file named old-apns-conf.xml
I opened that file and added ",dun" (no quotes) after every instance of mms (I think there were 3 or 4). I saved the file and she was in business. This method has survived a reboot, so that's nice too.
I don't know if it's relevant it not, but we have a legacy family unlimited plan.
Thanks but I can't even see the hotspot option in settings
this works great thanks.
Worked!!

I'll take a look at things, but the kernel Magisk module performs the task of updating the database so no mods to any xml files should be required. That breaks the "systemless" aspect of Magisk so could harm the ability to pass SafetyNet.
Anyway -- not sure why you have to modify the APNs that way -- as I mentioned above, the sky-high Magisk module handles that already by directly updating the telephony databases.
Hi folks,
Hope you are all fine !
I uninstalled Magisk but some apps still detect it's "rooted" which prevent them from opening. Would you have any ideas what cleaning I could do to avoid these apps to wrongly detect root ?
I'm running A13 stable TP1A.221005.02.
Thanks in advance !

My guess is that you still have the bootloader unlocked.
If you decide to re-lock the bootloader, it's gonna factory reset & wipe all data.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I didn't think app could verify this so easily.
I'd like as much as possible to not wipe the device, is there any way to confirm what triggered the app to find the "root" though it is not rooted any longer ? Any logs I could check perhaps ?
Thanks in advance -
One other thing is to remove the magisk app .apk if you downloaded it. Some programs do scan your files and if they see magisk in your files they deem you as "rooted".
Cheers,
B.D.

Before factory resetting, you could also try a dirty flash of the latest firmware.zip or using the official online Google Pixel Flash Tool.

It is not reading another apps data. It literally is scanning filenames. If you grant an app permission to read/write files, it can read any downloaded file to determine if it is magisk related.

I would be very suspicious of any app requesting such a permission, if it doesn't really need it.
Hi Folks,
Thanks everyone for your suggestions !
I removed all Magisk apps files, applications which needed root (though I'm not root, but was), and this fixed the issue here (I had in my hide list from nova an app called Root Explorer and I think the issue got resolved after I uninstalled it lol).
Have a great evening !
On a side note, moving to A13 ruined my great battery life, sadge.
I had poor battery on Sept A13 release. Oct A13 security release seemed to fix this.
Cheers,
B.D.
