- You cannot download Paid apps for free.
You can only replace the current market apk for the original non-modded version.
You will require ROOT if you want to install the Modded version!
Installation Guide
For non-modded version:
1) Download the apk from the links
2) Put the apk on the phone ,don't use adb install *.apk in won't work it will say it already exists

3) Go to '/system/app/' and backup the 'Vending.apk' (Gingerbread) or 'Phonesky.apk' (ICS) to your SD Card (leave the Vending.odex untouched!).
4) Check if you have either 'Vending.apk' or 'Phonesky.apk' and delete it.

u mean it works only with the lcd density modder app. It doesn't work without it.
But I found another thread that provides a modded GoogleServicesFramework.apk. That works with this modded play store.

I'm sorry, but what the difference between these 3 versions?
I've tried the 1-st one - failed to install. Then MOD-Google Play Store v3.5.19 Signed - successful.
The unsigned one means you have to manually paste it in the /system folder and fix permissions. The signed one allows you to install the apk like any other app. The first apk in your list is a non-modded one. read the OP for more info

Thx for that.
I followed the instructions, but i still cant find apps which are incompatible with my phone (fifa 12 for example)

should this work on other android devices as well?
Hey Deeco7, can you do a search on your mod Google play store for two apps call Tap sonic, or o2jam please.
I try the a mod version before, don't seen to be working. Thank you
works fine!
Don't even work -.-
Mod version features:
- Unlimited access to apps in Google Play Store
Removed countries restriction in Google Play Store Doesn't remove anything.
- Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play Store Still the same restriction.
YOU MUST HAVE ROOT, to use MODDED VERSION!!
Using this Mod:
- You cannot download/buy apps that are not available in your country. You can only view them in Google Play Store
So what's the point of the mod? .... you can see it but you can't buy or download ... it's like having the most high end phone, but you can't use it ...
Asus TF101 9.2.1.24 Root
Installed successfuly, but still doesn't search for country locked apps.
Doesn't solve " Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play Store"
Whatsapp - not supported (for example)

Google Play Store (Android Market) v3.5.16
Requirements: Android v2.2+
Overview: Play Anywhere, All your entertainment in one place, Google Play is your one-stop shop for all your favorite entertainment.
ChangeLog:
- Play Store has becomes lot more faster than 3.5.15,
- Frequent force close errors for the users of Froyo 2.2 has been addressed,
- Works faster even on Slower data speeds,
- Slight UI changes in “My Apps” section
----You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
----The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
----A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates.

Thanks, works for me on CM9. I unistalled the old market with titanium backup after a nandroid backup and placed vending.apk it in /system/apps, reboot and finished
Not working on LPS - parse error
@protetul: don't try to install it, download the version that xinfinityoO posted and place it in /system/app, change the permissions and reboot, it should work. I use the latest nightly of CM9 and it works great.
Hi I am unable to download the attachement in your post when i try to download it.. its too small and has a problem parsing the package.
Try to download the version in post #2 and look at the post before yours.

And yes, I rebooted every time I made any changes such as deleting, etc.
Cleared cache and force disable old Google Play apk... Then try to install the MOD version and says "Application not installed

Try this:
1) Be sure, your phone is rooted properly
2) Download Root Explorer if you don't have it installed
3)Go to /system/app/ and delete the Vending.apk (Phonesky.apk for ICS 4.x.x) (leave the Vending.odex untouched!). Make sure you have an backup your old Vending.apk (Phonesky.apk for ICS 4.x.x) to your SDCard as well.
4) Install the downloaded Vending.apk (rename it to Phonesky.apk if you have ICS 4.x.x)
5) Reboot your phone
6) Start Play Store and grant the access. You'll be asked to do so
7) Enjoy!

Thanks man, but I can't downlaod market 3.3.11. The link you provided says Bandwidth Limit Exceeded. By the way is it really android market 3.3.11???
I downloaded com.google.android_4.3.605.music-PlayMusic.apk and copied it to system/app (it can't be installed as a normal app). The UI has been changed slightly on vertical mode but I can't acces to the music I guess that's because I don't have the new market/google play.

I just installed directly 4.1.513 by downloading from the link, then uninstalled it & then copied the 4.3.605 to /system/app with permissions fixed (rw, r,r) & after rebooting google play music worked - it shows the correct version.
I am wondering what do I need market 3.3.11 for?

Sorry, I didn't understand what you mean - you mean old market (play store) 3.3.11 is needed to download/buy music or something?
I saw in another forum that if you're outside US you can login to the windows music manager with an US IP using tor browser to get capabilities like sync'ing music to the cloud & make it available wherever you go.
I am currently on market/play store 3.5.15 & am able to use google play music w/o issues - search only searches within the phone, not online.
I used to back up Google Play Music via MyBackup Root with apk+data so that my device wouldn't re-authorize with every ROM change. Since updating to Jelly Bean, it doesn't even show up in the app list anymore.
Anyone know of a way to do this now?

I worded that poorly, I mean it doesn't even turn up on MyBackup Root. TitaniumBackup gave no options to actually back up the file it seemed to me at the time. I'll play around with it some more when I have a little time before next flash.

The velvet fix is just using an older version. The newer versions have a bug that causes the weather not to display or rarely display. Screenshot attached.
G.prop is for goo manager to tell if there is a gapp update for your ROM. Since I'm not using goo for updates it can get annoying so I removed it.
Has anyone tried on different versions of Jellybean other than the sprint versions?? How about other phones?? I hear it works good on the ES4G.

What's the MMS with splitting all about? Does it auto split the message or something on its own over 160 chars? What is the default behavior? I guess I've never gone over 160 before

Yes it splits the message when you go over 160 its a CDMA limitation. GSM phones do not have this issue.

After installing on the Nexus S 4G running a CM10 rom, these steps aren't necessary, in fact, the "download offline speech recognition" option isn't even available - not sure if it's a limitation with the hardware or something. Voice search worked right off the bat. The keyword recognition seems to be a little wonky though - it works in google now but does not work from say, the desktop. Of course that might be intended behavior - I'm not sure. Either way, voice searches and everything else works great.

Glad that it is half working. but the "download offline speech" should be there. If not then it must be something with the rom. Attached a screenshot. I would say it should also work on the desktop but im not sure how the rom is setup for your phone.

Great Job Mate, very Handy Tools for our Stock LP.
Great work Kuoi,
is there a way to get erased apps back (I have not backup). F. e. I need LG Voice Recorder because this app is used by evernote for voice recordings. I have not thought about that when I erased LG Voice Recorder
Thanks

LGVoiceRecorder.zip
Download the above file , unzip it and copy it to your phone on any folder (for example /Download)
Install ES file explorer and navigate to the folder and the apk.
Click on the apk and then click on "install"
Should work well (it did work on my phone this way ... but i don't use evernote, so hope evernote will work with it)
The zip will remove all the apps listed in the op? If I would like to choose only one of them it's possible? Thanks

It doesnt work for me. It says it deleted all the selected items but after a reboot everything is still installed

After installing 30e version of the rom i had the same , but after using the debloater you have the ability to "uninstall" the apps on the rom
If i found some time i'll try to fix this ,but for now if the apps are still there you can uninstall them manualy on rom , sorry
If app is still there after debloat, it might be because there was both a rom-version and an update installed.

Could be that, all the apps that were not removed had been updated.

With the release of Android Wear 2.0 beta 3, Google changed the way Wear apps are installed on devices.
So I designed this simple tool to extract the wear compatible apk from already build APK's and install it to wear device via adb.
So what this does is unpack full apk to temp directory on windows and sideload it via adb to the device.
Well is not much, but I felt a tool like this will make things easier to install old Android Wear 2.0 Beta2 and lower, apps to Beta 3 and above devices.
Credits:
7-zip (Igor Pavlov)
adb (Google I guess)

1.0.0.3 - fixed installing upgrade APK (update app that is installed)
1.0.0.4 - embedded 7-zip and adb

- cleanup code
1.0.0.5 - tried fixing adb install command in some cases
1.0.0.6 - change adb interface handler for better compatibility
1.0.0.7 - added option to choose adb device to install APK
1.0.0.8 - added command logger
1.0.0.9 - fixed x86 compatibility
1.1.0.0 - added batch mode (just point to a folder full of APK files)
- code cleanup
1.1.0.1 - fixed batch mode when no APK files are detected in folder
Great, but please, can you tell me how can I get .apk files?
Apkmirror
Google
Or I use Solid Explorer (navigate to Collections - Applications - User apps and copy app to sdcard then copy to PC to use it)
Thank you - I have .apk files now, but I can not run your Installer - "System Windows do not have access to device or file ... " ???

I testeded file extracted from Phone and downloaded from APK mirror - same result
Google Fit - Fitness Tracking 1.59.15-109 (640dpi)
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...ss-tracking-1-59-15-109-android-apk-download/

google fit is a bit different but I know a way to install it... will test out and release update as soon as it works properly
Super - Now works by many of apps - except of:
Google fit

you can use external download site like APK Mirror or just Google it, but you can also download the APK from your phone to PC
I personally use the second method
so I use Solid Explorer, navigate to Collections -> Applications -> User apps
here I select all apps that are related to watch (ex: all watch faces, Google Maps, etc) and copy to SD card (you can use internal memory)
from there I move the APK files to PC and use the installer
hope it helps
