Black and White Theme for JVU Stock?

Hi guys, is it possible to change stock jvu theme in an elegant black and white one? Eventually also customizing the notification statusbar toggle for power control?

Remove blue/white glow effect... for rubber band effect

or any other effect, such as the htc effect when you reach the top/bottom.. is this possible?
I hate the glow effect, I believe this is baked into the ROM (though I may be wrong).. is there any way to change this effect
