I saw yesterday an xda tweet about Samsung blocking Svoice on non Galaxy S3 devices, so i got the idea to test it for the first time , it seemed easy to hack, so i made a hacked version for test, it seems to bypass the famous “server error” .
Test it and let me know if it’s working for you.
Download link : (CWM flashable patch for Galaxy S2)
GT-I9100_WanamLite.Hacked.SVoice.V1.3.zip (Make sure you have a free space on your system partition, it needs ~100Mo)
Changeslog :
V1.3 : Fixed Alarm settings
V1.2 :
Fixed WakeUp message personalization
Added SGS3 TTS files (hopefully improved voice recognition)
V1.1 Added missing TTS
V1.0 initial hacked app

It sets the alarm on mine, but doesnt update the list of alarms set.
Alarm does sound though at time set.
Is there something wrong with S voice? I've been asking it simply questions like "find local restaurants" and it replies "I'm sorry, I don't have the answer" but I've tried Speaktoit which is finding my local restaurants.
Is this a problem everybody is facing or just me?
3I hope that s-voice works better on the S3 than it does on my S2. I found the app frustrating to use, it was like the app was made by the same team that made control's cone of silence in the tv show get smart.
How do you uninstall s-voice?
I've tried flashing the zip and while it says that the file was flashed successfully, when i double click home, it takes me back to stock vlingo app? Any advice please?
Seems that after you use Svoice, it changes the audio default routing mode, and all sounds are then played through the headset speaker, and not the speakerphone speaker. A quick reboot fixes the issue, until Svoice is started again. The first reply from her will play loudly fine, but then it switches to the earpiece. Any ideas?
Otherwise it works great on a T989 with CM9...

PS, tried this on my Nexus S (Crespo4g) and it installed fine, just had the dreaded "Server Error" message... Maybe the build.prop needs to be edited? Any ideas?
Working ok with some basic questions like time, dial, weather, open apps, set the alarm. But complex question it FC.
Ask your S Voice who is Barack Obama.
Hehehehe
How can I maximize free space on system partition?I have only 2 Mb,thx

Great app, now i've got the s3 feeling on my s2
is S-voice incompatible with Jelly Bean? I'm on Resurrection Remix JB build and when I download the hacked versions of s-voice the regular installer will not even let me press install, so I use the installer workaround that came with juice defender. It starts to install the app then just stops and says "application not installed". Tried a bunch of times with different downloads and still the same result.
I have had a lot of trouble getting to start SVoice on SGS2, starting with the installation... I attempted several install approaches, from copying from SD card to substituting voice command on system/app (even a variation to data/app) and still hasn`t worked... One of the issues I noticed was no space at all at partition to copy file. Is it possible to create more partition space? And if possible, how to do it? Is there another method to install Svoice? Frankly I regret attempting to install it since I have no more voice support on my device (didn`t backup apk to this purpose).

Hi I tried to spoof unmodified apps using
FW:Turko_CFW_V5_XXLD2 with apps commpressed :apps_compressed_spoof_turkoV5_hero355
by BadaAppSignature.exe
My problem is this I can't do it properly it always say error:0109
but there exist in a post from badahub wich has games with modified.xml already and all I got to do is use the tab 2 for BadaAppSignature.exe and transfer it to memory card and works perfectly.
Now I'm wondering if there are really apps that could not be spoofed using the current method I am using badahub[dot]com/2012/04/new-working-method-of-app-spoofing-on-bada-2-0-been-discovered[dot]html
So can some people pretty please list here some Apps that work using the coolest FW yet the Turko_CW_V5 and thanks!
Already Tried NOT working Apps : ERROR: 0109
**Empire Defence 2
**Defen-G Astro
**Plants Vs Zombies
Tried WORKING Apps (Only used tab 2)
**Angry Birds
**Need for Speed Hot pursuit
your help is highly appreciated ! ! !

The lag issue is because of the update which has bugs, even disabling or removing bloatwares is not making it lag free. Nothing cant be done in this case i think, or you have to revert to older version of the ROM. The problem may be because of the new drivers,
And about Gallery, is it just simply showing or is it really consuming that much space in SD card
I once read @iceyhotguy's post about this gallery bug... basically it is solely Samsung's fault and we can do nothing to fix it. Try using another gallery app (QuickPic works). And clear the gallery's data but never open it again or simply disable/uninstall it... it won't take up space anymore..

Its one of the bugs of 4.2.2 I guess you can't do anything else but wipe data and cache all the time!
What you can do is that download any 4.4.2 ROM or download any other suitable gallery from the playstore

I can confirm the gallery is much better in the latest na5 update for region SER. Not perfect, but easily as good as it was on 4.1.
Does anyone know of a way to get the native hotspot working on the Note 4 by adding DUN to the LTE APN's like on the Note 3?
The APN's aren't able to be edited on my Note 4, like I was able to on my Note 3.
Don't want to root my Note 4 yet, but need to get Hotspot back.

You could pay for the service that would make it work.
Sprint apns already have dun added use galaxytools from the themes and apps section

I remember before the phone was released, someone claimed to have it working. It was in some thread, I think, I the original development t area.
Another option, you could use WiFi Tether Router. I know it's expensive at around $3.50, actually a little less, but the developer does keep active in keeping it updated and does bug fixes. It's a little slower loading up than native hotspot, but I haven't had issues with the Note 2 once I figured out the settings it needed.
Galaxy tools worked perfect for me
I installed it twice cause it wasnt sticking at reboots on first install of native hotspot.
Now it works fine every time i reboot the only thing is everytime i turn it on i have to go to configure hotspot and advanced settings and put maximum connections to 8 cause it goes back to 1

Don't you have to be rooted to use the tools and WiFi teacher router? OP said he isn't rooted, yet.

Thanks a lot. Workeds perfectly.
We got the Native Hotspot hack working for the Sprint note 3 w/ root. It's a simple smali edit. Bet it would work with the note 4 as well. It was the same from note 2- Note 3
Has anyone got it to work since it's currently free ? We have the correct version of knox for it and the devs say it maybe supported . FYI, is a ad and tracker blocker that's more battery friendly than vpn based solutions.
Adhell ist working fine for me (T719 Nougat), is basically the same as Disconnect Pro but open source (also using Knox) so I don't see why Disconnect Pro should not work.
thanks ill try that. ended up just setting up a pi-hole instead...
It works fine on my S2. Download to a phone then extract the APK and copy to your tablet.

I've been able to use Disconnect Pro with no ads showing up.
I usually use Blockthis on my tab s2. It doesn't block the in-video ads in youtube app though.
