Yeah yeah I know there's a lot of topics about screen protectors of the one I'm serious about one that is very slick this very tough to the way I can use a stylus, Yes I'm probably still one you remaining few people who play drawsomething. The one I'm currently using a cut down from a wrapsol that I cut down and made to fit my phone. The one I currently have shows all lot of scratches on scrapes and marks. I want one that will not show any blemishes after taking a beating.

Surprisingly I have some cheap ones like $2 for 5 and it's really good quality. Compared it with a phone without a screen protector and couldn't tell the difference. got it off Amazon, but there are so many different Sellers and different kinds, I'm not sure you'll get the same one. Well ultimately, some cheap protector are just as good as some well known ones.

I'll vouch for Realook also. I used it for my Vibrant and now I'm using it for my S2.
The only downside to this screen protector is it will bubble (without modification) if you're using the D30 case due to the super tight fitment. There's some tricks you can do to avoid bubbling. Just do a search.
Amazon is selling a pair of the screen protectors for a very low price of $12!

Gadget Guard
http://www.gadgetguard.com/
I have this on my, phone, laptop, gps, my kids iPods. I put this on 30 Panasonic toughbooks at work and also about 10 different tablets. I won't buy another product ever again.
Pros: It heals itself if you use a stylus and it leaves makes they will go away, if i get a small scratch in an hour it will be gone. This doesn't include major damage. 100% life time guarantee, whatever the reason, if your gadget guard fails to live up to their high standards they will replace it, free, for the life of your device.
Cons: Dry install was a little tough, Wet install was easier but it is a little scary for electronic devices, If you wet install it will take a few days for all the little bubbles to disappear it goes faster if you let it sit in the sun.

Are there any good screen portectors out there that dont compromise my screen quality? I saw someone with a matte textured screen protector on his iphone which looked neat, but are there any that would effect screen quality for the E4GT? Finger print resistance would be a great plus too.

I've tried:
SGP Ultra Fine
SGP Ultra Oleophobic
Sprint clear/matte
Reallook Crystal
The SGP Ultra Oleophobic is anything but, it got terribly messy quick. The SGP Ultra Fine takes away too much of the screen quality due to its matte finish. By far my favorite is the Reallook Crystal. These fit the best, are inexpensive, (2 in a package) and don't seem to fingerprint as bad as other crystal protectors I have used. They also do not reduce screen quality at all, it's the best protector I have used on the E4GT.
I tried several different dry and wet application types and ended up with sgp steinheil ultra crystal. You dont even know its there except that it gathers fingerprints a bit faster than no protector.
I've been using Ghost Armor since my Evo and I love it. It's $35 for the whole phone and only a $5 replacement charge for whenever you want it redone. It also carries over from phone to phone.

I've tried a whole mess of screen protectors for all my phones and I always end up back with SGP Ultra Crystal. I hate matte finishes because they make screens look like garbage so I usually lean towards the clearer versions
I have had several people comment that they couldn't even tell that i had a screen protector on (which is the look I am going for). Downside is, because it feels so close the the original glass, it also attracts fingerprints just like the glass would but this is not a deal-breaker for me. If you ever buy a "cheaper", no-name version, some of them actually look almost as good initially but I have noticed they tend to scratch WAY easier than SGPs.
Hope this helps
+1 on Steinheil here as well, easily the best screen protector you can buy. I have the Ultra Crystal and my only complaint is that it attracts fingerprints a little quicker than I'd like it to.. but this is true for all crystal protectors. Keep a microfiber cloth at home

Yep another vote for sgp ultra crystal. Best quality screen protector I've ever had and as an added bonus, the easiest and fastest install i've ever had. literally took a few sec to align and bam it's on. no dust underneath or anything.

I heard the Xo skins are decent but these sgp ultra crystal look interesting too. I have a zags screen protector now and I'm not a fan of it. Fingerprints, 'orange peel' look and although mine was used there are colored specs visible in some light, idk kinda weird.
does anybody know what kind of plastic Samsung uses on the stock/default screen protector? I have looked at about 8 or 9 different so called "screen protectors" and they all have that "rubbery" or soft plastic feeling to them. the original one has the "galaxy note 2" logo and web address at the bottom and it is annoying but I like the way the original feels. so smoooooth.........
I rode my galaxy s epic 4g bareback for over two years all the way from froyo to jellybean. would be nice to find a screen protector that is smooth.
maybe I just have high hopes but I am hoping for the best. thanks in advance for anyone that helps or attempts to help.

Agree with you on the rubbery feel to most protectors, e.g. Invisishield, Phantom Skinz, etc. If you want one like the protector that comes on the phone then check out http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/sa...note-2-screen-protector-steinheil-series.html. I have had their protectors on my GS2 and GS3 and will not use anything else, good protection with the feel of glass. Be advised that it takes a few days or so for the shield to 'loosen' up. At first it feels kind of 'sticky' but I think that's due to the manufacturing process but after some use(I presume after it gets some oils from your skin on it), it feels just like glass. Best protector IMO and I'm not alone in that opinion.
thanks. so what sub-choice would you recommend? ultra crystal, ultra fine, ultra oleophobic, or ultra optics? and does it have the same feel as the default screen protector that comes with the phone? sorry if I sound a little picky but I have spent well over $200 in screen protectors trying to get that "smooth" feel.
I really wish someone knew what type of plastic was used for the default screen protectors. when I called Samsung they were like "uuhhhh, I don't know".
Also, would be interested in figuring this out...I heard the Zagg protectors suck with device (along with all other wet application protectors). Anyone with a Spigen care to comment?

I have a Spigen ultra clear as I did on my EVO LTE. The screen protector is really easy to apply with no wet application necessary. They look crystal clear, you cant even tell its there, and the only thing is that you have to wipe off fingerprints every now and again, which is the case with any screen protector. The screen protector feels great to the touch and does not affect the S-pen or sensors in any way that I can tell. I must warn that the screen protector does cover the whole screen but not necessarily the whole glass surface as there is probably a millimeter or two left uncovered on each side. It really is not noticeable or any thing to worry about. In my opinion, this screen protector is far superior to the cheap ones, which in themselves aren't too bad.
I recently sold my EVO LTE and the guy was shocked that there was a screen protector on the phone as he could not tell. He commented later that he didn't even know that they sold screen protectors that you could not see....lol....

Not sure how the good brand matte screen protectors are like, but the cheap ones i recieved were horrible. The quality was great but the screen resolution sucked bad. So you did choose matte. I once had it and it was driving me crazy. Just feels not right when you touch it. I like glossy ones.
I got the lloyd matte ones and i couldn't take it anymore after two days. It was fingerprint proof and that was great but the pixilation and loss of screen quality was a real dealbreaker. It was like looking at a old tube television really up close. Too bad. I really like how the touch was compared to the hd gloss ones.

The nano clear does not cover 100%. The only screen protector that cover full screen are wet applications or the dry application sgp curved crystal.
Sent from my Galaxy S3 using neighbors wifi
Some of the matte or anti-fingerprint screen protectors make the screen dull or grainy, some don't. I have typically just purchased Spigen crystal Clear but sometimes I just get the ones at the Verizon store too if I am out and need one on a hurry. I tend to avoid the Zagg film ones due to the orange peel affect. Some of the tempered glass type like Spigen's Glas.t (which they are not offering on the GS3) are beneficial as well.
One thing to keep in mind is not all screen protectors work with all cases. Case in point is the Spigen ones with the curved edges, I found they tend to lift and were useless.
I use iSmooth and my friends can't even tell its there. Its a dry application but doesn't cover the whole phone which I'm fine with.

No scratches, also, this is the first time I've used a screen protector on any of the phones I've used. I hate having one but I have to admit, I'm impressed with this one. IMO, the picture doesn't do any justice, thats not a lift, its the shadow on the edges. It's only $10 on amazon
Here's a tip when installing, have a scotch tape near by to remove any lints. It works better than what comes with the product.

+1 for this. I have used several other screen protectors (ZAGG, Spigen, Clarivue and a couple of others), and this one, while not the easiest to get on, works great. Great feel and I like the way the screen looks when it is on. Because it is a matte protector, it is not invisible, but no real orange peel and it is not sticky at all - great finger feel on the screen! And cheap as well!
I hated any screen protector that I put on my Galaxy Nexus, after buying it I put on an Xtremeguard wet apply full body, after 4 months, I took it of.
Screen protectors suck and reduce the usability on the phones at times, some of them are pretty sticky or not as slippery and smooth as the glass.
PIE from AOSPA has never been so easily, I still use a case, but I bought my phone to actually use it, and I've been affecting my usability by babying it. It'll be so worth it unless you're really that paranoid about a scratch here and there.
No screen protector doesn't work for me. I work in a machine shop and metal chips find their way in my pockets daily. I prefer the non anti-glare 3 pack from Walmart or target. I forget the brand but they're cheap enough and don't interfere with usability.

Pros:
- No fingerprints whatsoever
- Very minimal discoloration
- Finger slides like on paper
Cons:
- Display loses sharpness
- Few mm short of covering length of screen
They make a matte and clear version of the screen. It's a fine protector for me since I prefer the papery feel, but not everyone like clarity trade off.

I use this screen protector too and I got the matte version instead of the clear one b/c I like the papery feel/sound. And I am impressed with the quality and the price. So far, it's been protecting my screen very well, but I did notice that I have to tap my capacitive buttons two or three times on occasions, but I'm not sure if it's due to the screen protector alone since I placed the screen protector on it as soon as I got my phone.
I'm hoping there will be spigen ultra optic..there's only ultra crystal right now. My experience on note 2 is really good. Antifingerprint while maintaining screen clarity
Glass, but the effect is not good, may be because I don't know how to stick it

So far, it's been protecting my screen very well, but I did notice that I have to tap my capacitive buttons two or three times on occasions, but I'm not sure if it's due to the screen protector alone since I placed the screen protector on it as soon as I got my phone.

It's not really your protector: it's probably the flawed kernel that got shipped out. Sprint released an update that fixed things, but it's not worked its way into custom ROMs.
+1 for the matte amFilms though. Great feel and price. I slapped one on my Galaxy Nexus as well just because (if you'd believe it, it's a perfect fit for the screen).

I got my phone from T-mobile though. Does T-mobile have the same problem too?
I use cheap ones off ebay... buy a handful from 2-4 sellers, find one you like and then re-order 10 or 20 more and just change them out once a month or so... screen protectors should not be kept on the phone for a year or more, except maybe glass (Haven't tried any glass yet)
You can probably get a years+ worth of decent protectors for the price of one Zagg at bestbuy... or less!
