Kickstand-style case?

Anybody seen one of these somewhere? A case wish a kickstand in the back, like the one built into the Evo4G. I'd love one of these to watch video on my Vibrant without having to hold it.

I've seen a leather Zenus bar style case with a kickstand in Korea. You can only buy it via Gmarket for now. That's the only one I've seen so far. I would be surprised if Bodyglove didn't come out with one since they usually always have some type of kickstand case available from what I've seen.

Im looking forward to this one. Bodyglove has had a pretty good track record in the past. That page is just a placeholder since its not out yet

Personally I will not use anything other than body glove on my phones. I had one of their cases on my nexus 1, it survived a crash onto blacktop at about 30 miles per hour, but didn't survive the drop into the pool..

ah nice didnt, see that one when scrolling through the cases and i didnt see it for sale anywhere either. oh well, like others, Im more interested in the bodyglove at this point.

How do i buy the kickstand one from Gmarket? Not all text is translated to english

There are a few sellers on eBay that actually have that Zenus kickstand case now, but at a steep price- around $43 shipped Still contemplating though, because it does look pretty cool...
I'm new so I can't post links, but just search for "Zenus Samsung Galaxy S Leather" and you'll find a few of them.

Thanks for the info! Yup too expensive at $34... Will wait it out i guess. But I really like the bright orange and black combo.. Hope the leather quality is as good as it looks.

[Q] Kickstand cases?

I saw some decent kickstand cases for the SGS2 with AT&T, but I have not been able to find any yet with the TMO version. Please let me know if you find any out there specially made for the TMO SGS2!
I'm having major kickstand withdrawals since upgrading from my EVO 4G.
Oh and I'm looking for a landscape kickstand, not the portrait kickstand found on the Body Glove case in the TMO stores.

Thank you for the pictures. Can you post one of the front of the case? I want to see how much of the bezel it covers and if it gets close to the edges of the screen.

The only thing i dont like about it is that the top and bottom arent covered.
The inside has a felt material to protect the phone from the case.

I tried it on my phone and it felt incredibly cheap, tacky color/design, and lack of real protection. If it fits your needs then awesome. For me I am kinda rough on things and like protection all around. I can appreciate the usefulness of a kickstand.

I also would like a little more protection. It seems like most of the kickstand cases are hard plastic, but I at least want a gel/silicone insert something like the otterbox commuter often has.
Hopefully they start actually releasing some good cases for this phone soon.

Oh, the black and white ones don't look too bad at all. Price is a little high, but this is very close to what I'm looking for. I really like the grippy edges. I'm hoping that a case will make my power and volume buttons a bit harder to push on accident (which I am constantly doing).

That is a good deal alright, but that case isn't for the T-Mobile version. Those are still listed as 'coming soon' on the Case Mate site.

Casemate is still taking forever to get their T-Mobile cases out, even after some rumors that they were coming a couple weeks ago. http://www.case-mate.com/pulse/samsung-carriers.asp . Looks like if it does come out, they will be asking $35.00 (same as Sprint and International price).

I've placed my order for the Sapphire and Amethyst ACTIVE cases from Seidio. There is one review in the linked thread with pictures and then only one other user who made some general comments.
There are no reviews yet on Amazon, but the cases are listed there for the same price (no promo code). Amazon has the black in stock and the others shipping in 2-3 weeks.

I have the Seidio Active, switching from Ballistic. There is a big difference in feeling, mostly due to the Ballistic being so big and harder to press the buttons. I needed something with a belt clip, and I've gone with the Active series for my last 2 phones (HTC Sensation, LG G2x). It's a great combo all in all.

I couldn't keep waiting, so I got the Seidio Active case and I'm quite happy with it.

**UPDATE**
I know not many of you are into the minimal protection/"Flare" cases, so there's another way you can contribute to Case-mate extending the T989 case lineup. Goto Case-mate's Facebook page and click on the Feedback link on the left column. Search for T989 Cases and vote for it. Obviously, you can see where I'm getting at. If we can get enough votes, it would convince Case-mate to extend the lineup.

If you use the promo code "fblike20". You can get it for $20 shipped.

So I go to the case-mate website, I see casemate selling a cool ass Marvel comics cases for Iphone 4/4s and I search for the t-mo case and I see this crap case! I want a god damn Iron Man Case.

too bad it only comes in the boring black color, otherwise i'd try one.

On the site it does say it comes in metallic silver but its not listed yet. I will be picking that one up when it is released.

Yeah, I was hoping for a POP! case but it's obvious Case-mate doesn't see much promise in the T989 and wanted to test the waters. Hopefully spreading the word would result in enough purchases for them to release more colors or more cases x(>.<)x

It just looks weird to be honest, dislike the open parts like the top and bottom.
Doesn't really provide protection from drops...
I LOVE the D30 case. It doesn't really add any bulk, I think it makes it more comfortable in my hands and it definitely provides the added protection.
It's either no protection and a naked phone or if I was going to use a case I'd use something that actually provided protection.

yeah i thought that was strange too, as the n4 bumper was actually a bumper and this is clearly a full case.

I think they are over priced personally.

Shows £24.99 and "coming soon" in the UK. FFS Google why can't you get the accessories to us in good time. The UK didn't even get the wireless charge dock in the end.
Can someone confirm this is actually available to buy in the US?

I wasnt a huge fan of the oem bumper for the n4, only due to the fact that it left part of the metal ring visible on the top and bottom of the front of the phone. It didn't quite look like it fit correctly.
I did however love the poetic bumper, it fit perfectly, it was a bit thinner, and matched the phone almost as if there was no case at all.
Amazon already has the poetic up for pre order and shipping date of November 19 I believe. I've got one on order, and will post pictures when it arrives.

I really like the look of the official cases especially with the nexus logo intact. I'm part of the minority and like the thinnest case possible like the rearth slim or spigen ultra fit. This official case looks like a nice compromise between the "super thin barely any protection" cases and the thicker "add too much bulk more protective" cases. Definitely pricey though.
I've had the spigen neo and was very disappointed. El cheapo imo. Rearth Ringke has been my favorite cases so far

yeah i was able to get the gray one too, but i didnt like the color and wanted the black one. I havent seen anyone say they were able to grab a black one yet

No way I would buy that.
The image for the black bumper uses a GNex and does not really show anything about the bumper.
The image for the white bumper uses a Nexus 5 render without the bumper on it.
The description says it is for all carriers, including Verizon, on which the N5 does not work.

It would have been great to get an actual bumper case like the Nexus 4 had but I think I'll still get the official "bumper" for the Nexus 5. I'm a sucker for OEM fit and finish as well as I like how it still displays the NEXUS logo on the back.
The price is ridiculous though. I hope the carriers offer it in store when they launch the phone so I don't have to get ripped off with shipping as well.

I think it's difficult to make a true bumper for the Nexus 5 because the back is curved. Nexus 4, iPhone... Those are phones with flat backs. Regardless, I think the case looks nice, but is a bit pricy.

the official "bumper" case is expensive. but i'm guessing the "nexus" branding is what makes it worth it to a lot of people.
if you cover up your phone with any other case it just looks like any other phone and not like a beastly nexus. but now your vanity can be satisfied with a case that clearly states for all to see... NEXUS.

wished google made official one like that but in RED!

The official bumper looks quite appealing, and it looks like it extends past the camera. My only concern is the buttons. In-house cases that the phone company comes out with are notorious for having hard button covers. Guess we'll just wait for video reviews on that.

I am looking for a TPU *BUMPER ONLY* case for the OPO and can't find one anywhere.
All I can find are
- Full TPU cases (not what I want at all)
- Aluminum bumpers (tried one of these, kills signal too much)

ah that would be a good accessory. However I have the metal bumper and i feel that the device is not protected completely.

Seems to have a good review on youtube. But some reviews on Amazon weren't so good.
