I can be a tester, because i want to have a new rom for my phone, because I use it for videos all the time (currently using stock), also i have some experience doing custom roms with dsixda kitchen.
I also know how to do very basic websites, this is the one that me and my friend did in computer science: http://webgunerancioa.webege.com/
And my blog: http://sergioetaasier.blogspot.com.es/ (the two of them are in basque and spanish)
I will consider you both as testers , we need atleast one devoloper or permission to use and customize someone elses rom.

For the moment you can be the leader of the Dev department and you can be a tester when an rom is built signed and published. I will PM you on what you need to work on.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
pardon for my intrusion but I think this kind of post should not posted in dev section. we can post here later when everything is ready to publish.
btw, I'm glad that we have a new rom devs here. we currently only have a few dev working on rom. most of them are working alone. only guotanimwas and repencis are known working as a team. i hope you'll get enough dev to start this project. beside this project I believe there will be another three rom for sgy. one of them is for sgy duos. if it succed, it will be the first custom rom for sgy duos. good luck
A forum dedicated to the project will be made to make it easier for devs and designers to communicate. And so testers can get pre releases
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
be cool...take that solely just as my advice. mod usually will move these kind of post to general section when they see it. I'm not interested in joining a dev team at this moment. but I'll ready to help anytime if you ask. soul reaper is also want to create a custom rom. he already have got repencis permission to use repencis lab exclusively on his rom but he seems doesn't have a solid idea about his rom. I've contacted him and given him an advice to join your project but I think you should also try to persuade him to join in.

Wow I am the leader!!?? Thank you for that but as I told you, I would be a part time dev as I dont know if I could manage debugging the rom. So I would like you to add more experienced devs here so that the work goes on smoothly and if you want your rom beautiful then add someone who knows and understands xml files. Again thnks alot

Neither Team Inferno, or Cyanogenmod Team, or anyone else that was involved in this project is responsible for you device. Please be nice as this is my first ROM for GT-i9000.
So what is this? This is CM9, compiled and tabletized by the Team.
The stock Android keyboard that comes with the rom after flashing this mod is all distorted. I'd suggest downloading this one which works and looks fine.
Note: This ROM can certainly be used as a Daily Driver, however, everything is small. That we cannot fix because of the smaller screen size that we have. However, this is still fun nonetheless, if you don't mind the small stuff.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Based on Official CM9 for the GT-I9000
Full tablet UI experience
Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
Great support
Working Phone.apk
New Combine bar: Saves a ton of space
New Camera UI
Two column Settings
Zipaligned
Deodexed
Usual CM9 bugs, other than that, you tell me
ROM Name changed
Added in custom wallpaper
Added InfernoBrowser.apk (Thanks mxbrowser)
Added TitaniumBackup.apk
Added ES File Explorer.apk
Other minor changes

Installation
- First time flashing ICS to your Galaxy S (or coming from another ROM)?
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
WIPE again or Calendar Sync will not work.
- Upgrading from CM7?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from another CM9 (or teamhacksung) Build?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
Note: The upgrade process from CM7 to ICS is automatic, but downgrading from ICS to CM7 (or restoring Nandroid) requires flashing twice. Once from ICS and again from CM7's recovery.

Bugs
You have to go to Settings/Developer options/Root access and place a check mark beside apps and adb. This will be fixed in next version.
Bluetooth will not turn on but the fix is already in TeamHorizon github, I just need to sync and build when I get time.
If you go to Settings/Display/Brightness and select the settings icon on the slider it will FC. Again fix is already in TeamHorizon github.
For some work arounds for for volume level increase and frequent bootloops please read this post.

OTA
If you want to use the OTA function of this ROM you need to download the gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip package and place it in the root of your internal sdcard. If you wish to use the 4.2.2_Gapps_No_PhotoSphere.zip or any other gapps package you must go to Settings/XenonHD updates. Then press the menu soft key and select Settings/Set GApps Package name and enter 4.2.2_Gapps_No_PhotoSphere.zip or what ever the name of the package you want to use is.
If you want to receive OTA notifications and have the OTA app auto flash the update you need to go to Settings/XenonHD updates. Then press the menu soft key and select Settings and place a check beside "Show Notifications" and Automatically Flash, see attached acreen shot.

The link takes me straight to the t0lteatt folder on media fire. Try going there on your computer if you are on mobile. I do not know why this appears to be a issue as I had posts in my T-Mobile thread about the same issue.
Edit: I was posting the wrong link, my apologies everyone, the link should work now.

I have always had quirks with 4.2.2 based ROMS, little things like less than stellar battery life, GPS issues, camera, dissconnecting, or slightly underwhelming performance.
This ROM has taken care of all of those problems. Excellent work!
It's a keeper....g

Other Developers who have created some of the tools I recommend in this manual deserve your thanks as well!
Go find all of these threads and thank the developers involved when you get a chance!!!
Project Rookie -This has a guide for doing just about anything. Many items are specifically for Skyrocket but you can learn things such as MOD creation, Kernel Building, and other Advanced Customization. I would start reading here if I were you!
Dsixda’s Android Kitchen - This is a tool that is very usefully for Signing files, unpacking boot images, and many more development things.
AROMA - This was a guide made by CarvsDriver about Aroma.
Creating a Kernel Build Script -Tutorial by Ayysir teaching how you can automate things such as kernel building with a simple bash script.
Linaro Toolchains - This is the Linaro toolchain “hotspot” for discussion. You can learn more about linaro and ask question about building toolchains here.
Flashable ZIP Creation - This tutorial by wilskywalker is much more detailed than my quick chapter on Flashable ZIPs. Read this if you really want to be a MOD guru!
Bootanimation Creation - ayushrox gives a great guide here on making your own boot animations.

This is a gold mine my friend. One stop shop to learn how to to build roms. I noticed you said that your work isn't copyrighted. I know in Adobe Acrobat you can add some form of credentials, watermarks, password protect document, and maybe encrypt it (don't know for sure). Just want you to know options are available if you feel you need to have them in place.

Thank you very much for this guide!
Love this. Thanks so much for writing it all up! I've got an idea for an addendum: Creating a boot animation. Here's a thread detailing it. Design & animation is something I really enjoy, and when I make my own rom it'll definitely be on the priority list.
Thanks again!
