I have looked they all are cm7 themes or are themes that completely change the look of the phone. I just basically want to change the messaging, dialer, call log, contacts, favorites, settings backgrounds and colors.

Try the following ones, I think that's what are you looking for.

And if you are trying other themes, just backup the files they overwrite (e.g. DefaultThemes.apk, Home.apk, etc.).
Then you can push them back, set permissions and reboot.
Without installing custom rom. Possible?

Yes. Download icon changer or install nova, go or other launcher.

If you have root, you can try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&hl=en
I've used it to change my signal icon and it worked.
I use Icon Changer and Desktop Visualiser...
Icon changer actually makes an icon for the app with your chosen pic (so you can move it to the dock). It'll let you change the name, as well as a few other settings like rounding corners and contrast and whatnot.
Desktop Visualiser is a widget. You can use it to make any size icons you want, with custom pics and names. There is a demo video in the play store you can watch to show you how to use it and the other features it and it's addons have.
Hope that helps

Hey friends
So I have a zip with a lot of icons in PNG format but no ROM where I can choose a theme... Using nova launcher free version. How can I replace the icons manually? Where is the icons folder?
Thanks

Desktop Visualizer from Play Store
Okay but isn't there an option where I simply overwrite some files and replace them? ... Instead of doing app by app... To turn these new icons into the native ones

Trying to install Coolvetica font which I brought over from my S3. Get error "font not available".
The apk does install, and is available to select in the display settings. However, that is as far as I can get. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Was able to install font using Rom Toolbox, but this does not change the fonts for everything on my phone. For example this xda premium app still uses the default font for the headers and my Coolvetica font for the body of the thread.
