I have a One X as well as a Kindle Fire with ICS and I wondered if there was a way to install the apk or app from my rooted One X onto the Kindle Fire. Any advice help on whether this is possible would be appreciated...

As far as I know any sense application needs sense to operate. And seeing that it also has a widget confirms it. Sorry bud.

Close but no cigar, thanks anyway! I will keep on searching, I am surprised samsung haven't done one for android, as they make android phones although they have released on one on ipod/iphone!

Samsung must have declared something in the manifest that makes the market think HOX is incompatible. Might be the resolution, or something else. The solution - never buy anything other that a vacuum cleaner from Samsung

Same here, although it doesn't do everything Samsung Remote does. The app also stopped working a while ago on iOS 5.1, so apparently they don't give it much thought.
Its 2.2.5.
I've seen that the SIII ROM has been lauched and allready the S-Voice apk was posted on the forum.I was wondering if somebody has the Smart Stay apk and will it work on the HOX?
I might be completely wrong, just speculating but i think that they would make a feature like part of kernel/ROM so it wont be readily available :/ I hope it does become readily available !!
Yeah i was thinking about that too, otherwise i think that the developers would launch the app allready.

Yeah, I wouldn't think It's just an Apk you can use, It's probably built well into the framework
Guys, you might want to check screebl app in Google play, it does keep screen on while depending on phone's axis orientation.
But yes smart stay is much better Lol.

I was able to install the Samsung Smart View app. I think their new app has been renamed to smart view. I was able to control my tv after installing!!
You can download it here: http://depositfiles.com/files/xe11ysaou
Would it be possible to connect HOX to pc making it connect as media link so that it would be possible to mirror screen to tv without having to buy a 80$ accessory?
Thanks
Nope. Hense they sell the accessory.
It actually is! You should search for one of those screencast apps (most often root is needed, but hey, you're on XDA!) and you can start right away.
