What's the point in making a thread about it if you're not going to actually post about what you plan to do with the project? You're not going to drum up interest with a useless and unnecessarily long faq.

It will be sense ROM or not??
And if it will be sense, will it base on Explorer sense 3.5 or sense 3.5 like in SXL, or it will be Sense 4.0 from One V???

Why not you can try to port Sense 3.5 from SXL or Sense 3.6 from Sensation?

In the HTC One X forum, their are now two subforums for development, one is 'One X Android Development,' and the other is 'One X original Android Development.'
Why was the latter one made? Please let me know as I'm really curious and confused :S

Yes, but Sense ROMs are original as well, and isnt your ROM as well? So why arent they there? ? And Interp's CM9 is original like tbalden's as well, yet it isnt there, why? :S

weird thing why is the cm9 build there that is not original at all there are other pure cm9 builds?
and why are my ROM and ParanoidAndroid not there instead?
the mods failed with organizing it i think...

First of all this thread doesn't belong here.
Secondly I kinda get the point. It should include stuff that is "original" meaning that it's being developed from scratch for the One X.
From that logic, it should only include AOSP builds and kernels. The organization has indeed failed. Mods owe the devs some sort of an explanation as to what constitutes "Original Android Development".
And it doesn't even show up in TapaTalk so that's another headache.

Yes, and if it doesnt appear, simply remove the One X Forums from favorites and re add it, should work, worked for me on the XDA Premium app.

I like the concept but "Create Thread" should be disabled in Original Development section atleast for non-RD's . Only I moderators feels like it belongs there they can move it.

Your posting crap for no good reason. You've already had 3 threads locked in July alone. Why? Because there was no need for them, just like this one. I saw the announcement as soon as I looked and it explained it all. Even so, why post in development? This will be locked as well at a guess. That will be 4 in July.

ive searched the forum for sense 4.0 full for our phone but failed to find it plz help me out

No one has yet ported full sense for our phone. Someone had tried, but the link was removed due to "kanging" issues.

I think that, if this your only reply in this thread, you should not reply at all. It is a question from a fellow one x user who would like to know something about ather roms and the reason why people choose that particular rom. If you don't want to answer this question, don't reply. Furthermore, your reply has absolutely nothing to do with the qwuestion.
OT: i currently use Renovate unoficial1. The rom is flying and i like where it is going.

i was on renovate and had no complaints with that rom,just changed to revolution hd with tripnraver kernel and im impressed ,guess best to try them all.

He is not asking which one is the best. He is asking fellow members who used maximus which one they think is close to that ROM so he can try a new one

Have tried most of them, the best so far for me in terms of daily driver is Viper. Best battery so far with this one :highfive:.

Thanks for all your opinions guys, but let's keep it on topic and not discuss HTC/Football/maXimus, otherwise this thread will get closed as all others.
And for the record, I'm not being disrespectful at all. If you think I am, than I guess everyone's disrespectful when showing any kind of support on the particular thread of the ROM they are using, since they are all public and all. But that is nonsense. Everyone has their preference, period.
I liked the simplicity of maXimus, not a million tweaks, not a million features and changes, and I also liked the OTA feature (I know a couple of them have it too, but not all of them, I think). But mostly, it was about the simplicity really. When I get to a ROM topic and I see a bunch of graphics, lots of text, warnings, links, whatever... I just lose interest on that particular ROM.
So, I'm looking for something simple like maXimus and this question is only directed to maXimus users. I'm not asking everyone what's they're favorite ROM or what they think it's best, I never even used that word in the original question. All maXimus users picked that ROM over all others for a reason, maybe we have that in common and I'm just curious what they will pick next since maXimus is probably not coming back.
Simple as that. Not trying to be respectful at all.

I have used the maximus ROM's since I got my One X. And for now, the only ROM that is close enough to maXimus is InsertCoin. It has the same battery life, same power. Plus, on InsertCoin you get some cool Mods from lyapota. Oh, and on InsertCoin you'll get the same benchmark scores as on maXimus, if that's important for you

I think I might try out an AOSP ROM.
There's one with experimental big data support, but I need soft menu button support.

Does anyone have MaximuS ROM ZIP on his PC? I need it and now when the thread is gone i cant download it from nowhere

For now, MaXimus is still up to date and if it works fine for you, why change. But I have to confess I already chanced myself, to ARHD. I don't notice any difference in daily use and batterylife seems about the same.
