What happened to the 129 update that was supposed to be coming to the one X?

The OTA-Update is available in most Regions, People with branded Devices has to wait until their Provider release it!
Some countries are still awaiting it. If you have an unbranded European version you can simply update by running the RUU.

Chinese One X No Update
I am wondering why I havn't recieved the OTA update. I have the One X from China but using it on AT&T here i the U.S. Anyone have any idea why I haunt gotten it yet? Any input would be great. Thanks
Why not use the existing thread?? Besides, we all know the unbranded handsets are getting the OTA so carrier is irrelevant
Got my HOX from phones4u last week on Vodafone and I was just trying to find out if it is a branded phone (locked to a network) does anyone know how to find out or know if phones4u lock their phones.

Does it have the Vodafone logo on boot up? If not it's unbranded (which I believe Phones4U stock now, CPW definitely do)

The other way is if it's running x.xx.401.x then it's unbranded
my p4u HOX is unbranded and carrier unlocked.
I know that some branded phones get the updates when the provider decides to , but what if I got my HoX from a 3rd party store and sim unlocked if it matters?
When will I get the new ota?

if the phone is unbranded you will get the OTA as soon as HTC push it out in your locale

There is a CID number in each phone. Each OTA or RUU includes CID number checks to determine if it applies to your phone.
You can use CID Getter to determine your CID number.
And see this post for a list of known CID numbers.

So I guess HTC thinks I'm from Germany as my cid is HTC 102.
Anyone knows if Germany gets the ota first/last?

best way to know is by visiting here my friend. no one really knows when HTC releases the OTA...if you see in the general section in the One X forum saying new OTA update is here then you know you will have it asap since you are unbranded and unlocked
i have HTC__102. witch RUU do i need to go back to stock?
Hello everyone! So recently I got myself a HTC One X. The seller unlocked it from his vodafone carrier so for me it works on any network. The CID is VODAP021. Since the jelly bean update is rolling out and there are firmwares online that I can download, can I download them since my phone is unlocked or do I have to wait for vodafone to roll out their update?
Thanks!
Carrier branded phones have a wait, hang in there. No one knows how long.

I have an unbranded HTC One, but I still didn't got the Android 4.3 update... How come?
Not sure, this is the Verizon HTC One forum, and the Verizon HTC One is still on 4.2.2 officially.
