Android Open Source Project is pure vanilla android. Android Open Kang Project is a ROM built on AOSP.

Uhh apex launcher is third party software
No. Think of AOSP as Googles code. And again, AOKP is a ROM built on that code. Apex is a launcher. Google Voice is an app. Ralph Lauren is a brand of clothing. Pontiac is a car. USA is a county.. And so on.
You are not on AOSP or AOKP, as per the information provided in the OP:

I think you are failing to grasp the concept here. Time to do some reading.
Every rom for nexus is built using aosp as a base....aokp is built on aosp code

There are so many roms, and they're all different. Just try and look for the best for you.

Purely AOSP.

Anybody tried this? Running it right now very smooth and snappy (clean install). Makes a good base for a rom I think (don't know nothing about development )

Yes... They only mentioned on the OP to read carefully.. They added PA Setting only on 4.1.2.. After that version 4.2.1 doesn't have this feature...
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Couldn't you just pull the PA preferences apk from the ROM and add it yourself?

Yeah but I believe there has to be some frameworks in the Settings app so we need the Moto settings app.

Yep, if you do a search it shows that moto framework is needed for this to work properly. It's been tried in the android software development forum.

As mentioned that app requires Motorola framework to even function
It's a demanding feature, but I think non of xda dev is working on it.Sad.
