Does the case provide some standoff from a table/ground for both the screen and camera if you set it down?

what about protection for the camera lens? doesnt look like it would protect much when placed on it's back on a hard surface? any pics from a side angle?

Hard clear case

So I remember when i had my first ipod touch years ago i had this clear see through hard case and i loved it. It didnt really add that much bulk and it felt nicely in the hand. Im getting the white gs3 and i really dont want to take anything away from the look and feel and I want at least some protection. I was wondering if there was any kind of clear hard case out for this phone right now?

I finally caved in and got this clear case

I cant wait to rock it with my galaxy nexus when it gets shipped!

The reason i went with the iluv translucent case over a regular clear hard case was because after the back of that clear case gets scratched up from setting it down on things, it is going to start looking like crap. all the case nice and clear with beat up scratch marks on the contact points. The translucent will no doubt get scratched also, but IMO will be less obvious.

I received this case today. Just thought I would let you guys know that it has a soft feel to it that provides good grip. I thought it would be just hard slick plastic, so I'm pleased with that aspect. Now I just need AT&T to ship my phone! lol

Leather case

Evening,
I'm looking to get a nice leather case for my HOX. I want possibly a flip one or one similar to the SGS3 ones. But i don't want a flip one with the 'tongue', I would prefer one with a 'catch'. Could anyone recommend me one, good quality and good make?

Basically what I mean by a catch is that it doesn't have the magnetic tongue that connects the two sides together. Instead it's just a bit of a lip that latches the two together. I'll try upload a picture later when I'm on my laptop.

How's the Mophie Juice Pack? Does it feels like it's scratching the alluminum when slide the pieces together?

I have the sedio case with the kickstand but mines black. Pretty happy with it. Slim and also has the holster. Holster is a must for me. I know it's not the "cool" thing but all my pockets already have a purpose.

Could one of you please take a picture of your HTC One in the UAG case at the following angles.
Top
Volume Side
Bottom
No one seems to have pictures of these angles with the phone in it, even Urbanarmorgear.com

I am using the speck grip case in white with a Zagg Dry for the front and back and It has been awesome so far!

they look nice, but those colors are horrendous, except for the blue and white one. would love to know why they are priced that way when it seems they are made out of the same material as any other dual layered case.

Speck always over charges for their cases. They cater to the rich stupid iPhone people. And I agree the case colors they choose suck. I wanted a plain black one.

I do like the white and blue one but not for 35 bucks

Those color options are terrible.

Yea thats what i was thinkin. Got the blue and white cause thats the best looking one

This case is great for side and corner impacts, but the small lip hinders its face flat resistance.
My friend has this case on his sgs3, and I saw his phone drop onto our tile office floor and crack the screen, while in the case!
The floor did have a slightly raised edge, due to it being tile, but nothing a good case shouldn't have protected against.

^ sorry if my post seemed discouraging. I can only speak for the experiences I've seen with this case in an s3, which is 2 years old.
If the lip is a decent height, things should be fine if it falls facewards. Back and sides should be fine because of the thick plastic/rubber the case is made from. Let us k know how it fists!
