[Q] Where can i find this part? - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i accidentally cut the cable for the keyboard when i was fixing the ribboncable for the screen.
But i can´t find it on ebay, and english isn´t my first language
Help?

It´s apparantly this part im looking for, but i can´t find it in any other place, it can´t be that expensive?

That's what you need, probably search chinese websites for a cheaper price, haven't looked much but never seen one on ebay before

The problem is that I suck at finding trustworthy sellers because of the language

English is my first language and I still have a hard time. My rule is I don't buy on line if it dosent use either paypal or google checkout or something to this order
You may be able to find a broken phone off ebay cheap and hope the keyboard is good

You can buy that part on eBay for 15.00 search under HTC g2 click parts option and it shuld give you a list for the ribbon cables

Anyone know if this dock is real? every link i find for it takes you to an Amazon page that is out of stock, and none have been sold.
Since Verizon case doesn't have the 3 pin charger, I'm looking for an alternative.

Emailed them to find out if it will work with vz nexus, no reason why it shouldn't the size difference is minimal let's see what they say

The picture doesn't look like it's the actual thing, because the phone in the cradle is a Nexus S running Gingerbread... also, the site seems a bit sketchy.

i used cheap chinese one , you can use capative stylus that design for iphone or ipad and other capative touchscreen phone/tablet :silly:
i use a thin strip of a motherboard packet glued to my glove when it's frosty outside)

Targus-made one, forgot which model exactly. I bought it for approx. 13 USD. At the store where I bought it, it's cheaper than a generic Chinese stylus! (18 USD)

I talked with our local mobile repair guy and it is possible to solder the cable (in case he finds the solder points) and replace the mainboard for $25 total.
