[MOD/PORT] CRT-ON to galaxy SII

Hi world
i could port the CTR-ON to SGSII,
actually it is different from the source i got , but with some modification and addition it works 100% on SGSII
so first of all thnx to [email protected] for the source
for the ppl who don't know what is the difference between CRT On & Off, it is the same beam that u got on off-screen , but this time u will have it once u on the screen too.
it is different from JKAY mod
this one is built in in the system
now , i made this one compatible with 2.3.6 ROMs, but it should also works with 2.3.5 (NOT TESTED YET)
also I added the needed modification for those who like BLN for SMS, so IT will work also with them
all what u need is to move my file to system/framework, and reboot
it should works fine
note that this mod is only for DEODEXED ROMs
and last,, DON'T 4get to hit thanks button
and for ROMs maker, don't forget to give credit to me

hey man thx for u ur great mod first of all proud to find an arabian wit such talent and sec can u make a mod for 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 espcially kk5 that includes both on and off crt without pixel and make thier install easy just install through recovery thx and plz try another mirror cuz the onee u privided is delted thx

if u can't understand this is normal and can be happen to anyone
but if u can't read so this is a disaster
If u read the OP again with ur eyes then u will know that this mod is different from jkay !

Does this actually do the full effect or only shows the last image like jkay?

i don't know about jkay but this will get u exactly the negative of crt-off
edit: i.e the full effect ,, i port from HTC

Dont understand what you mean by built into the system. But mine is also built into the system. I actually did not add anything I just enabled something that was already in the system.
But I will take a look... Hope that you fixed the crt effect.

well, UR modding is like creating a new way to handle the whole system which is intelligent
u didn't release source to know how to handle it
but as (user) it is as like as 3rd party application
in here it is in the system core
i hope u got my idea

try crt-on if it is working i will make it reference thread for CRT/ON/Off for all ROMs starting from 2.3.5

Nope its not working. Im running Gingermod 0.7 and thats got Jkays mods already built into it, which i suspect is the problem.
I pushed your service.jar file to system/framework, got a message asking to replace, clicked yes, disabled CRT on off in Jkay mod and rebooted.

Again i gotta say iam tottaly proud that an arabian like me is such a great dev the rocks thx allot man wish id become a great dev like u one day

i made it theoretically but i don't have the device to test it

Ok, then try file modified by me (JVS,JVT compatible), nothing more, nothing less than that what in given sources is

what I just told u is that i am testing a new version of CRT-ON that is incredible
but there are some small bugs ,, once I finish it i.e (48 hrs max) i will release for sure
so show some support instead of telling ppl something not true

Love the rom but it`s useless whithout gapps, why all the s... with gapps on cm7
dont relese cm7 if it`s not ready.
I love android, but sometimes you all have to look on apple to see how a alpha realese have too be before you release it...

Its just a mod, and gapps works fine you need to mount system

Themes are the main feature of this ROM for now, Avatar is working on integrating a personal assistant and layout theming, but for now, its all about themes.
The themes change the look and feel of many parts of the ROM such as the wallpaper(of course), the launcher, the bottom dock bar, the status bar, the lockscreen, most icons, the keyboard, the dialer and a lot of other things in the ROM​

5.Select install zip from SD card.
5.Install Avatar ROM ported by Richyricho.zip
6.Install the which ever GAPPS you prefer
7.Reboot and enjoy

The first thing I can Report on this ROM is that the battery life is absolutley AMAZNG!!! So thanks to Avatar for that...

My feedback.. feels really smooth! At first boot, in a few seconds everything was settled! Downloads and streaming are faster too! (At least for me). Biggest bug I found is that camera crashes (Not often, but it does) On the other hand, themes are awesome. Love the Rom! Great work

I just checked the camera and it says 12mp...i dont know if the quality is 12mp though

Thanks alot I have tried the camera for about 5-10 minutes but no crashes...what are you doing exactly when it crashes? Video, stills, changing settings? Anyone else having this issue?

Does your SGS have a INand or a MoviNand? (lagfree? What if i have 3 homescreens, 11 widgets, 2 google en 1 exchange mail, 1 what's app, ?)
ps: i think it's a 4.1.x rom

You'll live about the same performance experience as everyone (I or MoviNand) as long as you have a datadata partition on faster chip which is OneNand (common cm10.1 partitioning that will surely be and already used on miuiv4 I guess).

Yes u have . Base is Miui Android and miui off . This base comming from gtbluesky with miuiandroid team tweaks and some of my old files . Making the ROM faster than ever before . Why I left qings base ? Coz isn't working multi language pack . The ROM will upload 2night . Full permission given to Kingzak34 for any publish of this ROM in other region and forum
