Do you stream any videos from your Nexus to your TV via MHL? If so, how exactly does it work? Also, what cable brands would you recommend?

I bought one from eBay.. but it sucks.. doesn't charge and the battery would be dead within 2 hours.

It all started about a month ago, I noticed that the battery percentage started to go down when it was plugged in and in use. At first I thought it was the cable, because I tried with a nexus 7 cable, and it charged like it suppose to. I used different cables (generic, galaxy vibrant, stock and nexus 7), neither charged except the nexus 7 one. It can be the wall charger because it charged, and th cables work on other devices. I think its the internal usb port, but why would it work with the nexus cable?
Your phone wants to be A nexus 7

Does the nexus 7 cable has anything different from other micro usb cables?
I just bought the Nexus 7 32GB yesterday and I am coming from a Toshiba Thrive. I am looking at OTG cables for the main purpose to charge USB speaker and possibly my Samsung S3. Is this possible? Thanks.

You're looking to use your new tablet as a charger? Why not just buy a pocket charger, which have been coming down in price?
I used my Toshiba thrive since it had a full usb charger to charge my speaker which was usb chargable and my phone there was no open outlets.

Will i be able to connect to a projector and idealy use my old note 4 cable /connector

No. Note 7 is USB type C. Note 4 is micro usb. It's possible a cable comes out later to make such a connection, but out of the gate there is no such animal.
You could use miracast or chromecast, though. Both support p2p Wi-Fi.
