I bought this stylus yesterday from best buy and its great. No more fingerprints and now I have much better accuracy. I know its $20 for a stylus, but it sure is worth it!

This stylus was on sale there for $9.99 before. Can be had on the net for $9.99 for those interested.
And to confirm the OP it is a basic and nice stylus.

I picked up ten for $8.99 with free shipping. They are a little shorter than the Targus but I like them better.

Ya, Amazon sells those same ones in bundles of 10 to 20 for about a buck apiece. I opted for a bunch because lots of kids with touch screens and apparently the tips don't last forever -- at a buck apiece, disposable makes more sense.
I also remember trying to buy a $5 HDMI cable at best buy, and they had nothing for less than $40.... this is why they are going out of business... 2000% markup? no thanks.

Best Buy is over priced, but I am part of reward zone and every month or something I get a $40 certificate to use in store, so that's the only reason I bought it there

I've tried several cheaper styluses, including the pogo sketch and some cheap no-name ones from TJ Maxx. They all had some annoying issues with build quality or registering taps. I ended up splurging on a bamboo stylus and I'm much happier with it. Although it seems like the digitizer on the KF has issues with slow diagonal gestures resulting in wavy lines when using sketchbook pro.

I just received these about two weeks ago. I think it is awesome. First, no more smudging, second, now I can actually write like I normally do with the app that lets you record your handwriting. Third, it's a package of 5 for less than a buck. Who can be mad with this. And lastly, the tip is not super rubbery, so it slides smoothly.

There are lots of capacitive styli out there...you'll find plenty of online reviews. The main differentiator (besides cost) seems to be how thick the tip is.

This is exactly my idea. I personally don't care for them, but I do have one for my larger iPad. I have one from BoxWave which I bought on Amazon for about $10. It's nice and sturdy and was only about $10.
Or make your own:

If you're planning on doing a lot of drawing with a stylus, can I go out on a limb and recommend a galaxy note instead? It's got an amazing wacom surface which makes using a stylus much much more precise and usable from what I've read.
Not major amounts but I'd like to be able to do some on my phone every now n then, acase have got one called acase freehand which looks quite good for drawing

i'm not much of an artist, but i do use it for "draw something" and it's miles better than my fat fingers.
Adonit jot is the most precise stylus i ve used so far.
If you are going to use soft tip they are going to wear out within a few months so no point in spending more money on them. I use these cheapos and they work well for me on both the SGN and iPad while playing Draw Something.

I saw these stylus pens on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Capacitive-Cellphone-Motorola-BlackBerry-AMM0101US/dp/B0053NBLFW/ref=pd_cp_cps_1....looks like it works with different smartphones. It could become handy for doodling etc..
Anyone ever tried one before? Or could recommend a decent one? TIA
I bought a 6pack of capacitive stylus, they work on my et4g, evo, and kindle fire, and they work better than my finger. I use em for taking notes on my phones and drawing on the fire, or phone if I'm really bored while waiting for an appointment at work.

I bought the black one at Staples for $14.99.
Thanks for the info guys! Definitely gonna go buy one then...or a pack. I've been playing Draw something (addictive) game, and it's difficult to use your finger to draw anything.. Lol. Plus I think it's a good accessorie to have..

I only got the 6 pack cuz we got 5 androids in the house and a Samsung series 7 windows tablet so each device got it's own stylus and I have 2 with my kindle fire cuz one of the Androids is a note so its got its own super pimp s pen that thing is cool as hell, u cab draw/write with one side and erase with the other and it learns multiple styles so if more than one person uses it it will adjust to each persons style based off of small things like angle its held against the screen and pressure used to contact the screen, but that's wacom for you they have some seriously sophisticated touch pen technology, If the note/journal or something similar comes to sprint it may just be my first Lte device

be careful when using those when you write on an angle though, you can scratch your screen if you press too hard with the metal part
I hope it's not benn asked before but i need to know where to buy genuine cheap stylus.

at&t wireless online store sells it. if u or know some ppl with cooperate discount u can get around 35% off the listed price. a battery goes for 20 and a stylus with the pen shape holder is about 30 iirc

I don't know about cheap, but everywhere I've seen one for the GNote it's been ~$30. I'd just get one of those from Amazon if you need one.
I want to buy one with gray button like at some i9220, but 20$-30$ is too much. Is therer any <10$ prices?

I actually like having a super thin tablet so I opted not to go with a case/stand combination. This tablet is so light I just hold it 90% of the time anyway. After much research I went with:
Mivizu Shell 7" Sleeve Case - $5 shipped
-great reviews, good protection, pockets to carry stand and charger
Black Portable Folding Holder Multi-stand - $4 shipped
- good reviews, got extras for my phone and other desks, super cheap and shipped from only 1 state away
dbrand 2013 Nexus 7 Skin - $13 shipped
-color I was looking for, got a matching skin for my phone, advertised on xda, comes with hand drawn image of my choosing
iLLumiShield - Google Nexus 7 2013 (Wi-Fi) 2nd Generation Crystal Clear Screen Protector - $7 shipped
-used this brand on other devices and I like the texture, easy installation, 3 pack, lifetime warranty
Will update with pictures when everything gets here.
Thanks! Got the folding holder... I'm gonna try to mod it with wireless charging!

Earlier there were 2 options, Amazon fulfilled had $5 shipping whereas shipping from MiniSuit was free.
The price was $4.95 earlier, but I did see there were only 18 remaining 12 hours ago. I guess the price went up after Amazon's stocks were finished.
