Currently using Nova Launcher and i'm missing almost nothing from the Sense one...Apart maybe form the Contacts widgets. I used to have 2 bar-shaped ones, linking my groups to them i had fast access to their members when needed. I found nothing similar in Nova though...Is there any solution or app that i could use? any suggestions?

For the love of God, I cant figure out how I had the nice bookmark and Calender widgets using this launcher before I flashed my latest ROM. The two widgets I'm speaking of are available with LauncherPro. The calender shows the entire month and the bookmark widget allows me to scroll through all my bookmarks.
Any help to figure out where I can find them or download a similar app would work too.

LauncherPro is used by a lot of people because it's creator developed widgets similar to HTC's. Other launcher's do not have them.
Alternatives can be found in the last pages of this thread.
There are many free and paid substitutes. I personally am using pure calendar widget.
i use Jorte for my calender widget (tons of differnet widgets). Bookmarks, i just use the ones in Dolphin
So I installed cm7 which works well with ADW. I was previously used to Launcher Pro on Synergy. I loved the Launcher Pro calendar and I was wondering if there was a similar calendar I could use for ADW. I liked how I could have it take up a whole screen and sync with facebook and my google account. I just would like a similar calendar since I can't use Launcher Pro with cm7.
Any ideas?

Why can't you use Launcher Pro with CM7? Just install it and use Titanium Backup to remove ADW.

I didn't know it was compatible because I did some searching and people said cm7 and LauncherPro don't work well. So I decided to stick with ADW and try something new.
Edit: I see now that it is compatible, but I'm liking ADW a bit more. Never tried it before, but it has some really nice features. So I'm still on my quest to find a calendar that would work similar to the LauncherPro calendar. You know of one?
Best calendar alternative I have found is Business Calendar...
Pure Grid Calendar widget is also pretty nice..$2 on the Market though, not sure if you were looking for free.

I just downloaded it and I can't seem to figure out whether or not it's able to sync up with Google & Facebook. Is it?

I checked it out on the market and there is two of them? A gold and blue version. Which are you talking about, or are they the same thing? Can that app sync with Google & Facebook as well?
As of right now I found a widget called CalWidget, it does sync with Google but not Facebook. I guess this'll do for awhile until I find something better. If anybody can find a widget that does sync with both Google & Facebook, that'd be great.

Dear all,
I want to learn that how can I add or remove additional homescreen pages from Galaxy Nexus. There is no information about this even google. Before there was an icon for displaying all homescreen pages and you could add or remove new homepages.

What launcher are you using?
If the answer is stock you cannot add or remove pages.
you cant add or remove homescreens on the stock launcher
if you want to do that, you need to install a third-party launcher from the market
I have tried Nova launcher which works pretty well and is based off of the stock ICS launcher
I am using original firmware, not custom rom and it is pure ICS. What do you advice to me for modifying homescreen pages,

Since you're bone stock you really only have the option of using another launcher i.e. nova, apex (they use the resources from and function just like the stock launcher with added options) or adw, go, lp+ and many others. If you end up on a deodexed rom then you have the option of editing the "stock" launcher yourself By reading this.

I am wondering if it is possible, and if so, how would I create a widget (I want to create a text widget with transparency) that links or is the cover to a folder. Is this possible?

I'm also using Nova and still haven't been able to figure this out. In the mean time, I use simi widget but I would like to have Zooper support folders on its own. I can create them in the app drawer, but Zooper doesn't recognize them. Did you ever find a solution to this, or are you just using a third party app?
I was never able to get this to work with Nova. I also tried many of the other popular launchers including Apex, ADW, and Smart Launcher, but none of them worked either. What is required is a launcher that allows creation of a shortcut to a folder or group or something. To date, I've only found two launchers that do this: Themer and Lightning Launcher. Both are good, but for me, I really like the amount of configurability of Lightning Launcher. If you put in the time to work with it and combine it with Zooper, many of the "effects" that Themer tries to simulate, such as slide out drawers which have to be done with multiple screens a lot of widget duplication, can actually be made truly functional in Lightning Launcher. I have 4 accounts on my phone, one of them is a Google Apps one. I like the way the default launcher keep my personal apps separeted from my work apps, but it don't have so much personalization options. We can't remove weather or google, or even move it from main screen, for exemple.
I have tried some launchers like Evie and others, but in some cases, my work apps even appears on app drawer!
Can you point me a good launcher wich works with Google Apps profile, like this stock one, with more personalization options?
