Htc desire firmware update

Just been to the HTC website and noticed a new OTA firmware update on there.
I don't have my phone yet so can anybody confirm what improvements this offers?

Did a manual update and it said I had the latest ...

sadly HTC rarely do change logs.
Although it must be very minor as it's only going from 1.15.405.3 to 1.15.405.4

Where on the HTC Site? I cannot see it?
I wonder if this is a quick response to the rooting of the Desire?
I hope not!

I'm on 1.15.110.10 do I have to wait for T-Mobile to update the software or will it be pushed asap?

should be pushed ASAP.
go into status and try a manual check. bear in mind that if it's done like the other devices when they get ota'd, it may be done over several days. so you may not get it till after the weekend.
Yours should go to 1.15.110.11

This 1.15.405.4 is the ROM that reviewers such as Tracy and Matt had right? I think that was the number in the video.
Just have to wait to see how long it takes T-mobile to push this out now.

Oh, and orange devices would go to 1.15.61.10 btw.

i got it via OTA earlier today but as you all know, NO INFO whatsoever! looks no different however hopefully will improve the shocking battery life......

What's all this about 405 builds for HTC and 110 builds for tmob and 60 builds for Orange?
Makes no sense.
My tmob phone notified me of an update today, but at the time I had to cancel it as I was busy. Now when I go to manually check for update it says I'm already up to date.
So where did it go?

First option on the "About" tab manual update.

Will I need to have the T-Mobile sim in for it to find the update then?

I have the 1.15.110.10 on my t-mobile and it wont manually update for me at all

Build number has always been difference between generic and branded HTC devices.
I've don my update, can't see any real change though. Maybe a miner update.
Things are much smooth on my Desire then my Nexus one.

Just checked for any updates on my Desire and it said there was one available, it downloaded no problem it changed my software number to 1.15.405.4 sorry I have no idea what it was before it was changed.

you need to wait for t-mobile version of the update unless you unlock your device

so if I unlock the device, HTC will automatically be able to know that and it will update with the generic update?

LG Optimus 7 firmware update for mango

just wanna ask if anyone managed to capture the firmware update for mango for the LG optimus 7 ? i'm running RTM 7720 but cant seem to get the firmware update .

I think you should roll back in order to get the firmware update.

im getting "LG update for Windows Phone" at the moment. Are you referring to this?

So you're saying that even if i successfully upgraded to Mango (coming from the beta 2) i have to roll back to NoDo in order to upgrade the firmware, right?
Is it a guess or something certain?
p.s.: could you tell me how to roll back (i've made the backup when i installed the beta)?

Yes, it SHOULD! I upgraded the software to mango, but the firmware remained the same...

from what i'm seeing , by right you should get a LG update last . after you get all the updates to RTM . hmm .
if you didnt then i'm not sure why and hopefully someone in xda can capture the LG update and make it into a cab or something that we can easily install on our phones .

i first received the final 7720 firmware build, then beta cleanup bundle, and finally the LG update which i described in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1279975

Can anyone post up their updated phones firmware version numbers and also what your fps are on the fish tank test.
I got an LG update message from Zune and updated my phone from Mango RTM but the version numbers stayed the same?

I took a photo of the phone's firmware before the LG update and I'm pretty sure it was 1.1.2.10
I can't check at the moment as I'm in the office but I'll have another look when I get home later.
EDIT: I'm back home and have checked the photo again and your right the firmware was 1.0.2.10 so it did get updated, guess I shouldn't have had those beers last night :-D

oh man . mine is still running 1.0.1.10 . which is like ancient . Z

YES. I love the Optimus 7 exceept bluetooth. My blackberry has 10000x better bluetooth.

Ugh, I'd really love for someone to either grab the files and put them in a cab with instructions, or tell me how to do it. Otherwise, I'm going to have to send my phone back to the manufacturers to be fixed.

Today when I connected my phone.. it said I had an update.. but it is not 7.8 for sure as I didn't find anything new.

These are the updates that are needed to update the software prior to the android 6 update which indeed is NOT released yet. Seems legit.

I can't update my HTC 10 from 6.0.1 to 7.0. Today I've got my unlocked (!) Phone in Europe/Germany-Version and HTC won't find any new updates. Last update was 1st August 2016.
Someone can help me?

If you want official you will have to wait as HTC haven't released official Nougat for WWE yet. There are only leaks available at the moment.

I am from Romania and have contacted HTC Romania about the 7.0 update , their response was that is coming and that we should allow between 30 to 45 days for the update to hit all regions.
