[Theme] Orange Crush (Beta-V2) ::RC33:: 02/11/08 - Update

Working on my first theme, just thought I would share what I have so far.

Ok, well I have enough done to release another update. This includes the status bar, the slider, and all of the default icons from the RC33 JF release. I installed it without having to use the light version of RC33, this doesn't mean that it will work for you.So if you try it, you do so at your own risk. There is still alot I want to do to this so keep checking back and I will update it as time allows. This is by no means a final product. I hope you all enjoy.

I really like this theme. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the clock. Don't get me wrong it's a nice clock but it's a little too orange. Maybe you could make the numbers black or have 12, 3, 6, and 9 be in black and have other numbers in white? Just a thought

Yeah, I am still playing with ideas on the clock. I am not sure if I want to make the numbers dark, or have an offsetting dark glow behind them.

good start, i cant w8 till its done. i agree with the above post about the clock also, oh n maybe change the pull tab menu to a orange android.

Thats a great start but i agree that the clock is too orange, also I would try white for the numbers, because as i see it orange is more of a darker tone black would be a lil difficult to see, so try white if you want 2

It might be because I have not gone in and modified anything other than icons and the clock so far. I'll be updating as changes are made, and probably make a few different versions of the clock.

I think slider should be a transparent and may be less "stock"? May be just an arrow in the cirle, you know. And do something abour that status bar

Thanks for the input guys, I'm trying to get it knocked out. Still learning where all the files are, and I only get a couple minutes a day to work on it, but hopefully will have it done soon enough.

What was supposed to take 2 hours turned into somewhere around 6-7 and I came up with this.

Everything was made by me from scratch except the app menu handle, I took that from.... that guy's (pardon my forgetfulness) skully theme and edited it to my liking. So credits and thanks to him for that.
Features;
- Lock pattern is blue when touched/dragged
- When ever there's supposed to be green battery is blue
- Notification bar time is still 100% legible
- Browser, settings, terminal, market and music icons customized
- Random stuff I probably forgot I even did
Ignore the wallpaper, it was made by me and for some reason its really really pixelated and makes the rest of the theme look like crap.
I have no clue how to change the time color to white so yea, all other notification text is white.
Make sure you remove your sounds from /system/media/audio before installing this theme. Also, its only been tested and proved working in RC33 with jF1.42.
I hope you like it, as this is only my second in what I hope will be an ongoing series of themes. I'll be posting my first shortly.
Any and all insight, criticism and feedback is welcome.
Note: If your G1 bricks there's a handy guide on how to mount your SD card via the recovery console. Google it. (It's somewhere on XDA, don't have the link.)

Wait until my next release in a few hours, its gonna be amazing. Unless I get some sort of creators block.

I call this sleekDroid.
(The screenshot app made all the screenshots sideways for some reason.)
I've been working on a theme for personal use, nothing too flashy with a nice sleek look.
This theme is very minimalistic. It is meant to be sleek and professional. I tried my best but suddenly lost the time to work on it, and with that I also lost inspiration.
Update: I've completed it, sort of. I didnt really have that much time to work on it thats why it took so long. Social life is way too time consuming, but i hope you like it. Anywho if anyone wants to edit it feel free to.

top bar is looking good. you should change the yellow on the battery icon to red if you are going with that color scheme.

That is one sexy theme.

Looks very good. A clear pull up tab would look better in my opinion.

I'm designing a transparent tray handle, trying out a few different designs. New screenshots in a bit.

Nice job, I like the icons, I actually found those iconset and was saving to use them in a theme, but you got them covered so I'll find more. Gotta see more of those iconset, they look awesome.

yea some Here,
No wallpaper
some icon are show as the Theme
Freezers on the home screen
but other then that i is cool

It's mostly done, the pullup bar is a little monitor icon.
90% of the stock icons were changed, the Phone icon was giving me some problems. I'll either work on it some more, or just release a new theme some time. At the moment I have no time since, and this may sound weird, I like to leave my house.
It's fine if anyone want's to update it for me, or something like that. Doesn't really matter, I use it on my phone and it looks sick.

With Roms like IceColdJelly now supporting 7-icon navbars, and launchers like Apex letting you set custom icons, I felt the need to have my own, and liked what I made. So, as is the spirit of xda, I'm sharing 'em!
Since I am a student, I can't offer the best support, but if you want any icon in particular, feel free to ask!

Thanks mate for the holo icons! They look sweet. When you have the time, could you make the following holo icons:
- camera
- whatsapp
- chrome (without "google") or just "internet"
Personally I think that it would be more elegant to align all text in the center of the circle.
A really big thanks if you'd even consider these new icons and modifications!

I'm just gonna suggest something for more types of icons. Just because I can and hope you are open to suggestions (I think you are ). I'm the sort of guy that loves neat design, but simple. Your icons are simple and elegant and that is the reason I like them. But, for me they would be more awesome if they where designed more like the stock three icons in ICS and JB, like the recent button, the back button and the home button. They are simple and yet useful, but like I said, elegant. I shall when I have the time make a sketch of the sort of icons I mean. I'll try anyways... I am not good in designing and making sketches .
As always, keep up the good work!
A side note: if you don't like my ideas or suggestions you should not implement it in any way. It is your thread and your design, so if you don't like that, it would be fine, just throwing in some ideas! Cheers
One more thing I would like to add is the fact that some app names are too long, therefore they are nice on a big screen, but when using as icons they're just a little bit small and unreadable, like whatsapp and internet for instance. You could split the words in two parts but I doubt that would be beneficial for ergonomics and readability. Just my 2 cents

This theme is for Triune II only as of right now, I plan on releasing a full rom with Nunhuggers' Triune as a base. At least till a true JB leak comes to the AT&T SGS3.
To Install Follow theese simple instrutions:
1.) Push / Copy NextGen.zip to internal sdcard.
2.)Reboot to recovery, wipe Cache, wipe Dalvik Cache.
3.)Install Zip from internal SdCard.
4.)Fix Permissions, reboot and enjoy!

It was actually originally on the Vibrant when I was with Team Whiskey, then I brought the love to the Infuse. But I think i can bring some more love to this SGS3. You still rocking the infuse at all tyshemi?

So first of all, thank you for your great work, Nopcodex90.
Love the toggles on the bottom and removal of the brightness slider and the bounce.
Some issues I have experienced:
1. The dialer won't theme even if I reflash
2. The old mms/sms app is still showing up in touchwiz (even though it is grey'd out and says the app is not installed on the phone)
3. Would it be possible for the mms/sms app to have a black background? I know this problem probably doesn't affect most, but I tend to read a lot of texts in the dark and the white is just so bright when I go to look at them (maybe I am overlooking a setting to change it?)
Other than that, the other changes are great too! (clock, removal of battery full notification)
Edit: I seriously love this theme but the aosp mms/sms app was a deal breaker for me so going to try a different theme. Thanks again for the great work.
Edit2: came back to this theme again. just love the toggles and I got used to the sms/mms app

No nop I sold it to a friend in need. But I do miss it it was a good phone for the time
