ICS boot anamination - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Does anyone know where the boot animation files are in ics they are no longer in system/media. I searched my internal storage and found nothing. There is no boot file of any sort there. Just a 2 Samsung ones from 2010, not even in zip yes im rooted and I am running KJ's latest build (T mobile leak) which supports boot anmi. I didn't want to do him dis just asking him on his thread so I posted here where it belongs.
Thanks

I had the same question . I just paste my bootanimation.zip to system/media power cycled and it works. I had this question on tdj dark sides evolution alpha 1. Just try to paste your animation in there if your kernal supports it. It should work. I just made my own custom boot animation with Photoshop and it works bad ass

[Q] EB13 Deodexed - boot animations

So with the stock EB13 deodexed can we just replace the bootani files to change the boot animation now?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
No you need a modified kernel to do that. If the kernel supports a boot ani your stock animation will show a vertical black box flickering with the word android in it

I believe that both the dual file system eb13 kernel and the genocide kernel support custom boot animations. Flash one of them and you should be good to go.
Is there any way I could get the stock boot animation and flash it over?
I've googled it for about a hr last night couldn't find it.
There is a thread in here where a guy packed the stock animation into a zip search it in here stock boot animation

[MOD] [AOSP] STOCK BOOT ANIMATION [4.03] by Deodexed

I made this package to replace the boot animation for any 4.03 AOSP ROM's. I tested it on mine (ModAGnex V2) and a few others. Especially the AOKP ROM since I don't like the pink unicorns =) ha ha ha (TeamKang Rom's are great).
Instructions:
Download: HERE
Use clockwork recovery and flash the .zip file.
reboot!
Done (No need to wipe or do anything else.)
Let me know if you have problems.....
About to flash, I'll let you know how it goes.

Its the stock animation. And it should work with any rom that keeps their boot animation in the /system/media/ directory.

Recently I downloaded ROM Toolbox Lite, but can't seem to get the custom boot animations working. I set the location to /system/media/ and ran the install boot animation script, but I still get the same default animation. Any suggestions? If it helps, I am running Juggernaut v5.0.

Depends what .zip it is. Some are flashable, some are not. Open the zip to find out.
If the first contents of the zip is /part0/ /part1/ it is not flashable.
Otherwise it'd go to /data/ or /system/ -----> flashable.
Just need to get kejar up in here. He has a galaxy nexus boot animation thread on rootzwiki. They should all be compatible. I pulled the aperture science logo boot animation from the GLaDOs kernel cause its pretty simply awesome. Ha.

Most of ns4g porter use ns4g to paste cm10 files
But I uses cm10 to copy and paste from ns4g,
1. Copy systemui, settings and phone apk from ns4g to epic4g
2.delete framework folder and copy with the ns4g ones
3. copy all folder except usr and vendor/hw (not overwrite just add the unexist file on cm10)
4 done
I'm not responsible if there is any damage, it's my own experience, maybe there is step that I forgot , sorry

Man you guys have sucked almost every ROMs in the NS4G forum for ports, now I was left with only MIUI and FlyMe and fxxk, school is opening tomorrow... Gotta try MIUI though I don't quite like it
And hey, when you're porting, what have you exactly done to META-INF folder and /system/build.prop?
