REQUIRES FULL UNLOCK OR WP7 ROOT TOOLS UNLOCK
NOT DEVELOPER OR INTEROP UNLOCK!
As for XAPDeployer's usage in ROMs - you can use it without permission, just make sure you mention me in your thread. Also I wouldn't like to see versions modified exclusively for certain ROM series.

[App] 2BOrange - Install any kernel (Voodoo, SpeedMode, Infusion...) without computer

____________________________________
2BOrange
____________________________________
Hi everybody,
I have made a free application to install any kernel on your SGS very easily.
The idea is that there is a website where kernel are uploaded with a script and an application to:
- search
- download
- install it on your phone.
The application and the website are not limited to install kernell but I think it is a good way to try it.It can execute any script in the android shell.
So I have made some script for some kernel, there are so much that I have not the time to make one for each of them.
To make a script is very easy, I have attached an example of one I have uploaded on the website. If you need to attach a file, put it in a zip and upload both (the script and the zip) through the upload form on the website,
The address of the website is:
http://www.2borange.com/
A general thread on XDA (not dedicated to kernel on SGS) about the application:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14875954#post14875954
You need to create an account to upload but it is not mandatory to just search, download and install a kernel.
Please keep me informed if everything work or not. I have only test it on my phone.
For the author of the kernels: I am sorry to have not yet informed you of the sharing of your great work, I will do it for sure when I will have done enough test to offer you an interesting way to share your work.
For the user: if you have time, don't hesitate to upload some scripts, it is free and easy to do...
Thank you for everything,
Michael
LIST OF KERNEL AVAILABLE AS OF JUNE, 27:
- Galaxian
- Infusion Kernel Faster Fusion Reaction
- Semaphore Kernel JVH - JVP
- SpeedMod Gingerbread
- TalonDEV
- TEGRAK lagfix- Voodoo kernel installer

Don't hesitate to upload some new firmware. A model of script is provided below as attachment

This allows you to actually find a kernel, download it and flash it as well. The Kernel Flasher is just for kernels already on your sd card.

Thank you for your message.
I did not know about this application. I have read the description and I can tell you the purpose of mine is totally different.
I have understood that Nedar application is to install a Kernel that you have already downloaded and copy on your SDCARD.
The purpose of my application is to download automatically a script and a zip file, and execute the script.
So there are 2 main differences between these two applications:
- my application get files you need directly from the cloud (Internet), so it is like a deposit of files
- my application is not limited to kernel installation, it is just a usefull example to show people how it works, but it can do more, really lot more tasks.
However, because the application of Nedar is dedicated to one particular task, it has option I have not yet implemented in mine. By example, I have not yet construct a script to backup the kernel in an update.zip file, which could be very usefull.
So they are really very different. I hope I will be able to construct more script, but may be the biggest difference with any dedicated application is that anyone can participate to my project without any knowledge in Java programation.
You just have to know a little bit about shell to be able to share your work with others.
THAT IS THE REAL PURPOSE OF THIS APPLICATION : SHARING!
Amazing concept!
Thumbs up for the foresight for such a nice project. If enough effort is put I can see in next couple of months, the whole, ROM, Kernel, Modem flashing automated.
Right from finding the correct software till installing them and may be some debugging and fault finding as well!
Will definitely donate in case the project takes off the way it should!
Great work Snoopy!
Loving the concept of this!
As omzworld was saying, if this grew into a script that could automatically install your ROM/kernel/modem etc. that would be awesome, especially for people who are new to flashing.
Now, here's another suggestion that may or may not have been thought about already..
Is there any way to make the app look at your phone and use that as a basis for roms, kernels etc. ? If that was possible, anyone and everyone would be using your app to flash because they would know that bricking their phones would be almost impossible.

Thank you for your interest.
The thing I need now is not money, donation,etc... but report of test and ideas of improvment.
By the way, I only have a samsung phone, and I am wondering if there are possibilities to install kernel in other phone only by using the shell, have you an idea ?
Second question: have you an idea how to proceed to install an entire ROM through the shell ? I suppose the phone has to be rebooted before installation begin and lauche in a recovery mode, but how to make it automatic like in ROM Manager?
Thank you for your help!

[ROM] FRENKIEDROID_v8.1 Play Store eXtraSmooth fully themed

Hi At All.
This is my little contribute to the global Android comunity.
This is my build of the original rom Android for our GT-I8000 Omnia 2.
I think it is very powerful and fast. I prepared two versions of the ROM:
V_7: problem (known) does not work bluethoot, and the GPS is hard to use (but working), but really FFFFFFFFFFast ROM!
V_8 fully functional (I hope!) but less fast ROM.
You choose which version suits you.
I take no responsibility if you wrong procedure and inflict damage to the device.
All credits for working Android port on Omnia 2 are going to:
- almar (Marc)
- bsbsbs (Sándor)
- Egon
- phj (János)
- Voyteckst
Great thanks also to:
- Sgoo (ciao bello!)
- Synescu
- ipaq3870 for the kernels.
- o2droid
- Rapid81
- voku
Great thanks to my bro Spiderman1961 for the suggests, testing and much improvement for the rom.
I speak very little, and without his help on the forums, a lot of people would not have a lot of explaining about installation...
VAI BELLO!!
Well.
Here we go.
Procedure 1 (Linux Ubuntu) - (for advanced users)
-OLD version! Skip fww! This is only if you can't install with the next method in point 2.

Procedure 2.This second version is for istalling without using Ubuntu, and is most performing & much easily!
I suggest this version! ImageForWindows compatible , really easy!! guide attached in archive tool!
FrenkieDroid ROMs:
V_7:
For those who do not need the bluethoot and GPS (for GPS there is a solution, but it takes a little patience to set it ...)
and prefer a snappy rom, maybe "from the second phone," without gps and bluethoot but all set to give you all the fit and can, very agile, the ROM
of reference is the V_7:
FrenkieDroid_v7
ARCHIVE TOOLS
Android has never run so well on omnia 2.
[email protected]
V_8:
For those who point to the stability and full functionality of the device, and prefers to point to the new V_8 with Bluethoot and GPS working,
Little much consume of RAM memory, less "agile", but more stability.
FrenkieDroid v8:
GPS working;
Bluethoot working;
WiFi working;
Stock kernel (66-800 MHz)

****************************************************************************************************************************************************The base of the Rom is always CyanogenMod 6.2 Android 2.2 Froyo, I applied it to a series of tweaks and improvements to the code in order to make it more performant and responsive without the help of other applications, which remain resident in memory consumed Ram valuable.
Applications in support of the Rom have been thinned, so as to provide a product that after two months of testing occurs without disruption: the system is fast and handsome, any failure or delay is due only to the next installation of the app is not fully compatible this remains a PORTING, a system designed for other hardware and that no one thought of seeing run on OmniaII born for WinMobile
*****************************************************************************************************************************************************
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now you can say goodbye to SetCPU, System Tuner, SGS Touchscreebooster and other apps you may have installed: no longer needed!
The same Task Manager is used only for the widget to put on the home to control the amount of RAM free: no need to use it to kill app left open in the background where everything is run by script inside the Roma: they are to manage the amount Ram minimum, the sensitivity of the touch screen and many other parameters that are described in the following here in the changelog that lists the new features compared to FrenkieDroid v8.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHANGELOG
Graphics improvements:
New-style bootanimation Nexus
TRANSPARENT statusbar!
The portion of the screen appear where the line indicators, battery, time etc.. first opaque are now transparent graphic effect is surprising, despite assemble Android 2.2 Froyo, have attractive graphics such as JB and with a screen now so broad that almost has nothing to envy to the Galaxy S +!
Iridium Theme: new icons, new wallpaper, new buttons, new indicators battery and telephone line ... all according to the colors of the rainbow
New-launcher: Holo launcher: it is the lightest and most agile because it locked in memory via script, and not through Spicagenmod option (disable) or the launcher itself (disable)
App-system modded and skinned (already published previously) incorporated
Fixed a graphic bug icons that were too big disappear captions
Task Manager 1.8.1
File manager-much lighter than the previous: Explorer+
Quick Pick-2.8.2
Code improvements and tweaks
Ram-management through "Low Memory killer balanced script" (without app) according to these values: 8,14,55,70,85,100 (multitasking smooth and fast: only use task manager to see the percentage of free RAM memory, the script does the rest!)
Automatic Defragmentation at the boot of system databases
Zipalignin and fixpermission of the app (to prevent their Force close) on every boot which saves battery and ram, and greater fluidity of the system
55 Mb of RAM free at all times guaranteed!
Init.rc with changes incorporated
Modified build.prop
Virtual Memory Tweaks for greater fluidity
SD card Tweak: Increased read ahead cache data for faster access
Cleaning the cache on every boot, the system will not be filled with useless temporary files that weigh down and you will not need app to do that
GPU rendering
Compression of the Ram-through "Zram script" for a more responsive (you must disable Spicagenmod settings / performance / compcache ram usage)
Tweak-range for a greater fluidity
Darky-zipaling
For those who want to use live wallpapers these will be more fluid
Kernel tweaks for best performance
Battery tweaks: increased durability
Ext4 smart-mounting: Access to faster disk (noatime, disable barrier etc)

I / O scheduler tweaks
Better performance
Throughput better network with TCP tweaks and 3G tweaks

Version is 8: it's the same of 8.1: the only difference is that build for installation with Image for Windows
I suggest you partitioning you "my storage" with minitool; but after it's better reformat partition ext4 and swap under ubuntu!
Sistem will be faster

Hi,
Thanks for the work on the Omnia II.
Could someone post the install instructions in English.
I cannot read Italian.
Thanks.
it stuck
Twister ROM stuck all the time
especially when i want to connect usb cable for data tranfer. also wifi can not detect networks automatically
it is a very good job, since frenkie made his ROM very overloader with applications.
i do not want these applications. i only want a ROM with minimum possible so to customize them ourselves.
also if possible give to the public a gho version of your ROM. it is much easier than TBI format.
i also noticed that the autoinstaller version and the TBI version have many differencies on frenkiedroid.
autoinstaller version is more simple (fewer apps) but TBI version is faster.

Than
Code:
Settings --> Security ---> Encryption --> Enable Encryption
Downloads:Downloads are over here.
Please verify the downloaded file with the attached GPG signature to ensure is is a legit copy.
GAPPS
Google Apps are NOT included and before you flash them you may want to read this article.
UPDATES:
Added Deniable Encryption using Mobiflage
Encryption is now AES-256bit-XTS instead of 128bit-CBC
.
I'll be keeping an eye on it. Good work.
While this looks like a very interesting project and could have very promising applications (particularly in the military/government sector), most users on this site will undoubtedly complain about the horrendously slow speeds this many layers of encryption will bring.
Best of luck to you, though.

True. Speed is not the goal. Although there isn't to much slow down actually. But it is a sacrifice for security.

FAQ
Q: How do I do X?
A: You click the button corresponding to the action
Q: How do I flash to stock and then unlock the bootloader?
A:
You put your device into fastboot mode.
Once done select your device model (16Gb or 64Gb) and then click flash to stock.
The Bootloader should stay unlocked after the flashing process...
Q: What Roms do this ToolKit support?

Q: Help it's not working!
A: Try 3 things.
Re-installing the toolkit to re-install the drivers

Update the ToolKit
I found a Bug!
Great and thanks for finding one! I can now hopefully track it down and fix it if you provide the following:
The Computer's OS
What you were doing
How you can reproduce this
Your device
The code from the message that appeared
This will help me track down and hopefully fix the error. And once open sourced these can be reported via GitHub!
Please be aware that messages that just say "HELP" or "IT CRASHED" will be ignored as they don't help...

I knew that would be an issue. That's due to the fact it includes all the stock files for CM11S. However I will make it possible by downloading it within the app unzipping it and then flashing the device. But I'm fairly novice at c# and I don't have a lot of time to develop at this moment in time...

Thank you I'll finally get noticed for something XD
... It works great but the size is a big deal.
Also, i suggest that ... you show what version of recovery you will flash - TWRP ( is generic and the filename does not gives you clue, the same for the others )
Also, for the Stock firmware ( wich version is it ?! )
SuperSU is not updated ... you could improve and use the last stable from chainfire
all the other things looks great so far.

Hey guys iTechy21 here and I am glad to announce I have a toolkit I have made. This is my first toolkit and is currently still being developed (adding / tweaking features) to allow you to easily do basic adb stuff and more advanced things are coming when I have time to develop this :silly:
This will also be 100% open source when fully complete but is released under the GPLV3 licence (apart from the stuff I did not develop e.g. Custom Recoveries, root.zip, adb / fastboot and stock software all rights go to their respective owners).

Can we have more mirrors (faster ones)? Like MEGA? Google Drive is kind of slow :cyclops: Great work!:good:

Thanks for the feedback. I may improve that make to another form with information on the specific versions (along with a built in download tool). Along with updating the SuperSU.zip
The first thing I'll do is work on that once all the basic features are there. But generally its the latest version of TWRP that is stable along with the other recoveries...
As for the stock I think the one I included was 44s but it may be 5Q (ew). Ill be implementing a downloader for the stock images to download whatever the latest version is from cyanogen...

I'll see what I can do but the size will be reduced in the next update as it will remove the stock zip and replace it with a downloader which will download the stock images and then flash them reducing the size massively... (but I use Gdrive as its easy to find the download link unlike with Dev-host...)
I can´t flash twrp with this toolikt any one have a clue?
Do you have the adb drivers installed? Or is it throwing an error?
Updated to fix issues, add ota support, install APK's and improve performance

Is "fully complete" v1.0.0? I'd love to stretch my C# muscles a bit.
EDIT: I can't read. Sorry.
dont worry about it
we always have moments... Its almost ready but I don't have a lot of time to develop so it may take me a while to get everything in there....
Just improving the ota updater now as its throwing exceptions...
Download link is not working. Please re-up. Thanks

If anyone has this file, send it to me and I can host it on one of the servers I rent. If we use a Dropbox link, it's going to get so much traffic that the persons account will get suspended.
