[Q] Wildfire switches off after 10 seconds of being turned on - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well I've had my Wildfire for about a year and a half now and my problem is it keeps switching itself off after being turned on. Normally I can't even get the phone to go past the splash screen before turning off. The battery is fully charged but this still happens. I think it may be a problem due to the battery but I am unsure.
My Wildfire currently is:
Rooted with Rempuzzle 2.41 full rom
S-on
only the one memory card partition
2.6... nfinity kernel
HBOOT-6.01.1002
Radio-3.35.20.10
Revolutionary CWM v4.0.1.4
Help is appreciated

desire keeps rebooting

Hi guys
I am really desperate atm. I have read several topics but couldnt find any that matches my problem so hope I will receive some help from you guys
I have HTC desire, rooted, running LeeDroid Rom
So everything is fine, until one day I restarted my device. After restarting it keeps rebooting on its own. Its stuck on the Android screen (the white one), couldnt get to the Animation and keeps restarting for several times and then freezes on the white screen.
If I dont have to restart my device there is no problem. The issue here is when I factory reset the device or want to flash a new rom it keeps rebooting and then is stuck.
If I leave it for a while then it reboots normally to OS but it will not execute the factory reset or rom flash whatsoever
The only thing I can do in HBOOT menu is clearing the data and that's it.
Plz Plz Plz help me out guys

Its a hardware issue and will probably need a board replacement. Before returning it, as a last resort you may try unrooting to stock. Guide is in my signature.

i really hope its not a hardware problem

[Q] Desire Oxygen Ginger RC6: Screen not turning on from standby

Hi all,
I am facing an ongoing issue with my Desire.
Problem:
While trying to turn the phone on from standby, the display keeps OFF. The light behind the four keys turns on for a few seconds, but the display itself doesn't turn on.
- no reaction on the black screen (unlock procedure, ....)
- after waiting 10 - 200 minutes the display turns on while trying again
- no error message
I assume that the CPU is just busy and that's the reason - but I have no idea what could be the reason. It also happens with a completely virgin flashed ROM. (no updates running on market, etc.)

ROM: Oxygen Gingerbread 2.0 RC6
Image: Standard Unrevoked, but same with AmonRa
Does anybody have an idea how to resolve?
Thanks for helping me!!!
Joe
I'm assuming you've done a full wipe including dalvik before flashing the rom (s)?

Yepp...several times. I've had an issue with paritions and A2SD - don't know if this could be a reason?!
Now I am back on only one partition, FAT32, 8 GB SD
Tried booting without the sdcard in?

[Q] Still looking for a solution

Right first things first
my desire was having the random reboot problem after updating to 2.2 then it turned off and now wont boot up at all.
it is stuck on the htc logo, and wont enter recovery either
I can go into Boot loader and Fast boot to flash Ruu's and pb99img.zip files
And they complete successfully but the phone still goes back to the Htc logo
I have the Hboot drivers installed, android Sdk installed but cant recognize because cant enable debugging because i can't get into the android os.
The phone is unbranded but i don't have any back ups for it .
Also made a gold card and flashed stock Rom but still back to the Htc logo it goes.
Any help would be very appreciated i have read and read the forums for days but cant seem to find the exact problem and solution.
Also software version is 2.29.405.5

when it reboot does it vibrate 5-7 times sometimes ??
still looking for a solution
No does not vibrate at all just stays on Htc logo, and stays on that the screen goes blank for a second or 2 then back to the Htc logo till i pull the battery ,goes to H-boot with vol - and power button and thats about it,
Did you make sure you had a "gold card" before flashing?
Flash to an unbranded ROM, 2.29 Froyo
Did you wipe your cache memories, including devalc, and user data before flashing?
If you didn't do so before, you will be stuck.
Sorry, but maybe the gold card was not good.
yeah used the Goldcard , i cannot wipe the cache though because cant get into recovery, when i select it it just goes back to Htc logo.
have you given the freezer idea a try..?
it might be because of the cpu/motherboard over heat issue
Yeah tried it in the freezer for about ten mins no luck.

Where am I going wrong??

OK I give up, I have been trying to sort my wife's phone out, I successfully rooted it a few months back and installed one of the Runnymede roms, but she had been experiencing some problems e.g phone crashing, losing signal and so on
I decided to put a newer rom on the phone to try and solve the problems.
But now it seems that the phone is knackered, I started off by trying to install a new rom but when it came to booting it up, it crashed (left it for 30 mins) so tried again and the same result, tried several other roms to no avail. I have changed the HBoot from Bravo stock to Alpharev CR7 r2, installed the latest radio still no joy.
The HBoot is showing

currently installed is Runnymede AIO 4.0.3 SE also the SD has been partitioned with 1.01gb on SD-EXT (ext4) and just under 7gb on the main partition.
The phone will install and boot up for the first time and then close down after the main screen has been shown and go into a either a bootloop getting as far as the main screen or the HTC boot screen or it will hang on the HTC screen.
Obviously I have gone wrong somewhere but I dont know where.
Can anyone help as the phone is now useless.
I can get to HBoot and I can get into Recovery and my pc does see the phone on fastboot and when I mount items when in recovery.
Flash 2.3.3 RUU. If problems persists, call HTC.
sort now thanks, left it on charge for ages to sort itself out and now seems to be working perfectly.

Stuck at HTC Boot

I'm sure you have heard about this before but searching for 18hrs now and nothing is working.
Issue: Phone is f.....kd and stuck on the HTC BOOT SCREEN.
It was running Clockworks newest version and Tried the Unrevoked 3 for the last 5 days without a problem. Then all of the sudden the phone rebooted and I was left with " Hopefully not a dead phone. "

I don't know if the usb Debugging mode is on or off . I'm thinking off cause before the phone rebooted I was looking at settings and might of turned it off . Is there a way I can turn it back on from adb ?? or see if its atleast off ?
I can't get into the recovery as it just skips back to the HTC screen. I have tried erasing etc. with no go..
Help.. Please..
Thanks..

Pull the battery out then put back in then try booting into recovery. Then Go to Desire Q&A and look in the stickies section and read bortak's great guide
