I was in wal-mart and was looking at one of the Droid X dummy phones and it has almost the same dimensions as the Vibrant except the Droid X is ever so slightly taller, Is there anybody out there who has the Droid X as well as a Vibrant that can test this out?

I got this case for my phone.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketf...lack/1145363.p?id=1218224796381&skuId=1145363
Your link brings me to a generic bestbuy front page, Not a specific item. If you were logged into the bestbuy site when you copied the link that could be why. EDIT: CORRECTED LINK ORIGINALY POSTED BY LARISTECH http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketf...8224796381&skuId=1145363&st=1145363&cp=1&lp=1
http://www.usosmart.com/Motorola_Droid_X_Shell_Holster_Combo_p/vzmotxshc.htm <-- This link will bring you to the case I bought meant for the Droid X to use on my vibrant. Looking at the dimensions for both phones I belive it will work, And if not I can return it.
Oh yeah baby, It fits in good.
Sorry to double post but the Droid X holster with the top lock down clip does in fact fit the Vibrant almost perfectly. Also the Droid X case/Holster combo also works just as good, If the case/Holster combo had a lock down clip on the top it would be 100% perfect for our phones! The link I posted earlier is the case/holster combo for the Droid X, If you don't like anything out there now I would highly recommend buying this for your phone. EDIT: P.S. Does anyone know if they sell aftermarket lockdown/spring clips that have an adhesive back that you can add to any case?
Any chance of getting a picture or two?

No, But I have ordered one, Its not a perfect fit cause the Droid X and Vibrant are so close in size and the shell fits over the Droid X then fits in the holster, I tried out a shell/holster for the HTC Incredible and it is a wayyyy better fit cause the holster is a tiny bit too small and thus hugs the phone thus negating a need for a lock-in clip on the top. Im gonna start a new thread with pictures for the Incredible holster on the Vibrant. If you have a shell on your Vibrant the Droid X holster is your best bet.
there are many different to choose from.
and I am wondering if I should go with original or other manufacturer.
never had screen protector before but with this beautiful screen I want to have in best condition as long as possible.
I absolutely dont want it to interfear in any way, or as little as possible
Having used the HTC one's with my HD 2 i will be getting them for my one x, also they come in a pack of 2.

Has anyone tried the HTC Branded ones compared with the Martin Fields ones?
I've always gone for Martin Fields before on other phones (highly recommend) but curious about HTC's own.
I've ordered the genuine HTC protector, not sure how good they are (anyone have any feedback?) - if your in the UK I ordered mine here: http://goo.gl/04p8Z
My One X and protectors arrive Tuesday (damn bank holiday ) so ill post a review if anyone wants to know if they are worth going for.

Though a bit expensive, Vikuiti screen protector has been incredible on my HD2.
I use official HTC screen protectors on my desire s (got the set with pouch, car charger and protectors). I really like the feel of them, they don't feel overly plasticy like some protectors.
They some to come off well without leaving an adhesive residue.

I got one with the phone. I don't know who made it, but it's pretty good
It still have those water marks that will disappear after a while.

i did also get those and in my opinion they are not good, it's a little to big so it extends a bit over the screen causing it to release from the screen. but they where cheap so they will do until i buy something else
I like SGP skin, but i have not found it .I got 2 pice from auction

Useless protectors???
I got my One x today and immediately went to apply one of the 2 Genuine HTC screen protectors that are specific for this device.my advice would be don't buy any. There will not be a screen protector ever available that will actually fit the one x this is because of the convex design of the outer of the display. Luckily I got the pack of 2 from a seller on Amazon for £7 so no real damage to the wallet there ) Please let me know your experiences with SP's
Hey Guys,
the One X has Gorilla Glas Version 2. Watch out on google, what that means.
I got a Sensation with Gorilla Glas, no scratches at all.

My sensation xe has gorilla glass, but it still got scratched whilst in the same coat pocket as my keys!

So even the genuine HTC protectors aren't curved? Shame on them. You'd think that for £11 it would fit better than a generic, non-HTC one.
It might be worth waiting to see what others come up with.
Whatever you do don't buy the official HTC ones waste of money they have a poor fit as mentioned. The one I got with the case is slightly better but will be difficult to get good screen protectors. Personally waiting for SGP as theirs are usually good.

Yeah they're just flat. The only reason I ordered them was that I remember getting original HTC sp's for my Desire & they were quality. These are pure rubbish though.

Yes, shame because I tried both sets that came in the pack.
Most of the screen was perfect, couldn't tell there was a protector even on...
However, the sides around the screen just would not stick.
I had a 1mm edge around the screen that just wouldn't stick, it annoyed me too much, I pulled them off.

Thinking of ordering that one myself. Have you tried it out on HOX? If so, are they recommendable?
Quick question about the One X. When I compare the One X with the One S, I must admit that the promise of a hardened (I dont remember what the process was called) alloy body that the One S has seems a lot more appealing than the plastic body of the One X. Those of you who already have it, what do you think about the build quality in general compared to phones made out of various metal? (HTC One S, iPhone 4x, Sensation S, etc)..
Plastic body is easier to mould and lighter than metal and just as durable, plus it don't interfere with wireless signal.
I'm happy with the plastic feel of my One X.
Iphone 4 don't count as it uses regular glass for the back, can't imaging wost material as it is both slippery and easy to break.
Sensation felt clammy and like it could easily slip out of my hand. The One X has a lovely grip to it, and doesn't get all clammy. The lightness is great too.
Definitely a better material to use.
The best thing I like about this phone compared to others I've had in the past is that there seems to be no light leakage where the edge of the screen meets the body of the phone. I hated my Evo 3D and Desire HD for this.
I've haven't held the One S so I can't really compare the two, but the One X feels solid and very light at the same time. I'm starting to get used to the weight of it though and it doesn't seem as light as when I first picked it up.

The finish on the black one s version doesn't appear to be that durable:

And NFC can be used with the One X polycarbonate finish. Afaik One S doesn't have NFC?

Thanks for all the feedback. Ill head down to the store to hold it myself. I disagree with glass being a poor construction material. Glass can shatter, but generally holds up against daily usage fairly well and scratches tend to look less disturbing than they do on plastic covers.

How does your HOX not slip out of your hands? Mine is like soap unless I'm squeezing the hell out of it or it's lying with the screen upwards. Do you use a phone cover? Any someone would recommend?
One S - Ceramic
One X - Polycarbonate
All in all, the One X still feels more solid than the S3, which looks and feels like a plastic toy..
I disagree... the One S both looks and feels a lot better in terms of build quality and sturdiness in my opinion. The glossy plastic on the One X looks awful!

Huh what? The One X is glossy? Are you sure you're holding a One X? The only glossy part of the One X are the sides @[email protected]

I am indeed referring to the sides..
And I own both a One S and a One X, but I simply find that the One S feels a lot more solid and exclusive in hand. Not sure why people find this so hard to understand. To me, oxidized aluminium is a lot more appealing than plastic.

One S does indeed feel better materials wise my sister has one. But our matte finished HOXs feel better than other similar plastic devices out there. The uni body design is well made on the HOX. iPhone 5 feels great too with its finish.

I cant find anywhere my answer. Are the cases for the X the same as the XL (Rogers LTE version, dual core krait)
Just thought id add that Rogers sells their version as "HTC one x", not XL or anything else.
I checked the dimensions and the lte variant is a tiny bit longer than the GSM variant...the other dimensions are the same. Only way to know for sure is to try.

I'm sure tpu cases will fit, the difference is less than a mm. Not sure about hard cases though. Such a small difference shouldn't be too bad. Like previous person said, only way to know is to try.
I work at best buy and tried one of the new cases we got in for the xl and it fit my x perfectly. Seido hard case and a tpu case

Sensation XL is DIFFERENT from One X. The placement of the flash, loudspeaker is different.
The question here is about the One X (GSM Version) and One XL (LTE Version).

Check them out. On par with otterbox and IMHO better, but that is easily debatable. Ive had Ballistics for all Iphones, the HTC One X, and I have ordered one for S3.
Good company and even better product.

Which Ballistic case did you end up getting? I'm interested in the SG (not MAXX) as it was very well reviewed for the HTC One X. I just ordered one for my One X and am thinking about getting one for my S3, if the quality/fitment is on par with the One X version.

I saw them at the ATT store. Its the MAXX version and it was god awful imo. Screen protector doesn't seem to fit to well. Let us know if you end up liking it. In fact give us a full review telling us your thoughts! I like to see what people think about other cases. Even if I didn't enjoy it.
I bought the Maxx case, love it. But the screen protector did not fit well, & made the screen appear grainy. Ditched the screen protector and couldn't be happier with the case & holster.
I actually prefer the Maxx case over the standard SG series because of the port plugs for the usb port & headphone jack.
