three payg sim question

i am thinking of getting my wife a wildfire s on the uk three payg offer its only £144
but we need to use her vodafone sim with it has anyone got a three branded wildfire s and is it unlocked? if not how easily can it be unlocked.

I just got a Wildfire S from Phones 4U today for £145 on 3.
All the phones they supply are unlocked. Make sure you ask for one on 3 though as that is the only network they supply it at that price for.

[Q] Cannot SIMFREE with unlock code

Hi guys, I bought an new HTC One X, locked to Telenor Serbia a month ago. I bought from some Online services code to unlock, same code from two different sites (American and European) and my phone won't accept it. It says INCORRECT PASSWORD. I checked my IMEI twice as the code, and they are good. I heard something about European Stock roms, that they don't allow unlocking. Anyone has any information? Hope I can resolve this issue that driving me crazy last few days

They do accept unlock codes, at least mine did, my phone came from h3g Austria, tho i never purchased the code online, went to the phone shop and got it unlocked ... and i'm quiet sure the guy who did it for me purchased the code online. - pozz =)

This is knows issue with VIP Serbia and Telenor networks... Others works as they should, unlocking with no problems.

[Q] Where to Buy ? Note II 4G LTE Sim Free for use with O2

I'm looking into getting one of these & have a very good priced Sim Only deal with O2.
Anyone know where I can get the 4G LTE Version (model N7105) & does it come unlocked to all Networks (Preferably in Grey) ?
I'm thinking of going this route so I can see how the whole 4G situation works out in the UK & it would mean I could later get a Sim Only 4g deal.

No reponses ?
In the meantime, I have found that Orange UK sell the LTE version, so I could buy it there & then get it unlocked.

I would save your money until o2 have LTE enabled.... By then the note 3 (or 4) will be out.

O2 dont have LTE yet. Get a normal N7100 and save your money. The N7100 has better battery life than the N7105. I know because I had them both and Now settled with N7100. I bought mine from amazon but make sure when you buy from there it is directly amazon selling the phone not a third party seller.

Can't find it as PAYG on the site, is this in store only ?

If O2 has dc-hsdpa the n7105 will still get faster speeds than an n7100 even without 4g/lte, as the n7100 doesn't support dc-hsdpa whereas the n7105 does.

Anyone know for sure if the O2 Payg model is the LTE (7105) version ? I have done online chat with 2 different advisors, 1 says yes the other says no !
This is slightly cheaper than Orange & I wouldnt have to get it unlocked for my sim.

N7100 also has hsdpa+ 42 iirc

Coming from a THC One X I doubt it ! :laugh:
Plus with the LTE the resale value should be a bit better & I have the option of getting a 4g payg sim down the line

[Q] Please Help. I bought Fire Phone from T-Mobile Germany

Last week I travelled to Frankfurt Germany and I bought unlocked Amazon Fire Phone 32 GB 449euro from T-Mobile shop Zeil road Frankfurt.
But I had to travelled to the Netherlands . I went there without testing.
And now I come back to Thailand and open the phone.
It shows Pin required for unlocking SIM.
But I do not have Pin.
What should I do ?

You can go to Telekom Website and unlock your phone for 99€ - this is why firephones have Bad reviews in germany.

I don't think you can use the site to unlock the phone if you don't live in Germany.
You have to pay per "Nachnahme" with the Deutsche Post (Pay at the door, if you get the code delivered). This will not work if you are not in Germany.

Although there is "Nachnahme International", i don't think Thailand will be on the list of countries for that.

I try to unlock with payment 99.50 euro.
But T-mobile website needs rückrufnummer but only German number.
So sad.

I got HTC 10 from my friend from Ireland. She bought in 3(three) store. But I have bill pay in different carrier. How I can get unlock code or how to remove simlock?

Three Ireland are a pain in the ass to unlock from officially as they insist if the phone was bought on PAYG that the accountee tops up by €140 after they have bought the phone before they unlock ...
They will not unlock for anyone other than the accountee ..
So you will have to use an eBay seller who will circumvent it but it will cost you around €20-25 euro.
Just search for HTC 3 Ireland unlock in eBay.
