Hello,
Please do forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section and kindly do move it into the right section.
I updated my HOX yesterday and strangely now if I am in an app and press the home button, my sense crashing and i get the loading screen.
This is happening no matter what. I have removed all widgets, icons from the screen, rebooted phone several time but no luck.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Please help.

alright,
Do You Really Need To Use Sense? It Seems So Buggy And Its Quite A Big Thing Why Not Revert Back To Original ICS?
It Looks So Much Better And It Runs A Lot Smoother!

There are ALOT of forums discussing this issue, when you hang up do not hit the home button or back, let the phone return to the home screen on its own and this is the work around for this particular issue...

I second this, it worked for me.
Hi everyone,
I just did some flashing to my phone, and this is the second time that this happens to me, but I have no idea how or why. But suddenly after pressing God knows what, my home goes into preview mode, where all my widgets are floating around. I honestly have no clue how did this happen, does anyone around here knows how to enable this feature?
PS. I looked before asking and couldn't find a related topic, so if there is one already there, I sincerely apologize.
Hi mate, this happens when you pinch the screen and pull your fingers together. As if your zooming out on a webpage. If you click on a widget, it will go to that screen.

Thanks for the answer
When using certain music apps (poweramp, stock sound player..) the vibration on the phone freaks out and just buzzes and pulses. I can't figure out what is causing it.
Please tell us some more information about the phone so we can help you.
For example, what ROM or Samsung touchwiz software are you on? Are you rooted?

I would try uninstalling all those music apps and then do some detective work and install each app one by one to see which app it is. Report back what you find out.

A shot in the dark here,,,,but go to /settings/sound/
Scroll to the bottom and disable "Auto Haptic" if it is enabled.

He shoots, he scores! So far that seems to have done the trick.

Right on right on.
Also.... it's not so obvious...but long pressing on that menu item/switch brings up a blacklist/whitelist to choose which apps will be affected by auto-haptic though I don't use it myself.
Hi Guys,
I've just rooted my phone and installed Paranoid Android version 3.98
Overall great but on most apps I'm getting parts of the screen blacking out. For instance the top of the browser. I can still press things underneath but I can't see what I'm pressing. Very annoying.
Any help guys?
Thanks
Taz

It's rom related. You need to ask in their thread or send the dev a pm.

Hi, everything about the new update of the youtube app is just fine expect for this silly problem regarding full-screen (landscape) and smallscreen (portrait mode). Whenever I am in full screen mode my 'scrolling bar' (the bottom action bar) gets completely lost, so that I have to retract to portrait mode in order to see it and forward the video to my liking. But that is very impractical when it comes to long videos because the bar is quite small.
Take a look at the screen shots for better understanding
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance and sorry if this is a dumb question.

It could just be a rom issue then if anything you can try Team Black Out's inverted version of the app, as that is the one I use and I have no problems with it :fingers-crossed:
nope it didn't fix it, tomorrow I shall try a different rom and see if that's the problem. BUT I didn't know about this 'inverted apps' thing, just what I wanted! Great suggestion, thanks! I guess they work just add the original apps and only the color is changed right? no battery issues or anything?

what I did was uninstall the old youtube app then went to the play store and looked for Team Black Out as they have multiple apps inverted available, then in their app just download the youtube app in a .zip file that you have to flash in recovery. Yes they only changed the color and no my battery remained the same I think glad I could help!
so I changed ROMs and everything is working fine now, for anyone else with the same problem

I don't think this is a ROM issue, I think it's a YouTube issue. I'm on a stock S3 and have the same problem.
