Temple Run on Galaxy Y?

Hey guys. My girlfriend just bought a galaxy y and I randomly want to ask whether temple run works on it? I know it wont show up in the market but does it work if we manually apk install it?

No, not posibble, only on ics. Maybe try an ics custom rom, but its not competable with gingerbread or lower.

It's not officially available for devices with ARMv6 processors, only ARMv7. However, there is an APK you can download somewhere around here but it has a few bugs in it...

Yeah I found the apk. Doesn't seem to work correctly? Are there any ICS roms available for this phone? If yes, which ones?

You should try panda run, that exactly the same, but compatable with sgy, sgg, sga etc.

yup the one on the themes and apps sections does installs and even runs well
but has a lot of bugs like the graphics glitches wile collectiong coins and even the man dies suddenling wile running,so have to wait for dev to fix it till now you can enjoy it as it is

well,i've found trick to finish that problem
actually the trick is You Must Finish The Tutorial Session..
after the tutorial session,the game will run (a little) smoothly,even when coin appears..
i'll research that,and i'll post the link as soon as possible..

remember,you must have 'Sharp Eye' ,and fast thinking + skill

yeah,that's the biggest problem yet haven't any fix 'till now..
but i heard that the temple run's devs and maker are developing the version that support armv6 (our device)

You can run temple run..but the apk for armv6 has an auto die bug..
In order to run it,install chainfire3d from market..install it and then the phone will reboot
And then install plug.ins...choose your plug.in,then reduce texture...enjoy

I never used Chainfire3D to play it. Apart from the game-killing 'death bug' it works fine

Yes, they should make Temple Run Compatible with our Device, it fun to play that game

Games that work on S3

I just wanted to know what games work for you guys. I figured most games would be supported because of Qualcomm Adreno graphics. But I tried Mass Effect: Infiltrator which just crashes, and MC3 and Nova3 just say unsupported. So I just wanted to know, what graphically good games you all have been able to get working.
Thread is now just a discussion about games on the S3.

Asphalt 6: adrenaline tells me my device is not supported.

Need for speed
Final Defense
Front Line Commando
Most Glu games I believe, Gameloft, on the other hand, rarely works

Riptide GP is a good one. Worth buying for sure.

Has anyone tried Chanfire 3d on the US S3? It worked perfectly on my s2, but now when I install it it reboots the phone, after driver install, and the app is missing? I tried to re-install the app, but says 'incompaitable update'.???

six guns did not work.

I don't know what kind of games your looking for but Minecraft Pocket works on mine and so does Game Dev Story.

Which needs for speed works? I have shift and it wouldn't work.

Max Payne does NOT work. You can move and aim but all the other controls are missing and the touch setup is grayed out. You can even bring up the menu to quit once youre in

It's BS about all these games that are not supported for the U.S. Galaxy S3. Millions of people would buy these games and so many do not even work. I have weaker device but at least it has way more high-end games for it. Either that or I can spend more money and get way more high-end games for my iPad.

If you change your build.prop file ALL games work. You simply make apps think youre on a different device....hence the gt-i9100 signature you see below when im typing this on my i747 gsiii

Asphalt 7

Hey guys i just downloaded asphalt 7...runs great but if i set tge controls to accelorometer...the car just steers towards right...i dont know whats the issue...i played temple run too...but no problem there...any help please? Is it anything wrong with the phone or its just a game issue?

I have the same problem too. I read a page on google saying this game needs an update for GNII

I have it with version 1.0.1 and it's work very well !
maybe u need to update it ?

I just downloaded asphalt 7 using a apk file but when it is on the gameloft screen is starts crashing and brings me back to the home screen.

just trying to see what others are experiencing with fpse on the note 2 ?

Runs fine here. Tried playing xenogears and runs smooth without any major glitches.

i couldnt run it for some reason, now i exchanged my device, maybe this time it will work

oh and xenogears is greatest game ever, but try secret of mana 2, just as good

Do you have the bios file? I simply installed the app and ran a game flawlessly without changing any settings.

So dose anyone know where I can find gamehark txt files named for the psx diak name but searchable under real name that will be as simple as dropping in epsxe cheet folder and going.

Now that I got my 64gb sandisk in my phone, Ill have to download some psx games and this fpse app. Cmon 5pm

Bump, just an update. I didn't get to try fpse but I am playing through epsxe and the games are working great. Chrono Cross anyone? Epsxe also gives you an ability to run Open GL plugins so your characters are all high-res, freakin amazing. [not available in fpse] Works great wirelessly with the ps3 controller as well if youre interested.

[Q] [HELPP] Not Able to Play Games

Hey there'
today I flashed Omega Rom v10 And every thing is Flawless ....... buhh I am not able to play some games like Modern combat 3 , 4 & Contract killer 2
wheneva I try to open it crash evatime (Unfortunately Contract killer 2/Modern Combat 3 or 4 stoped working)
and this games works great in stock rom ....
so frnds pleaseeeeeeee help me .... how can i play this games again
