{Req}[Theme]Can anyone please port this amazing theme

This theme would probably be the best thing to ever happen to our batteries

i think at one point we did have a blackout theme but it went away before i was on this forum. does seem like a good theme to help with battery life

For the swype at least I use this one:

To install use root explorer or my favorite es file manager. Go to the root of your sdcard then /system/app and rename Swype.apk to swype.apk (all lower case) then unzip the metamorph and apply.

if i use root explorer... would it be possible to put the orange blackout swipe theme on my phone the same as you put the flat black??

Very nice theme however I think its way too much black lol & I'm normaly the person whom loves my phone blacked out

Man I would love you forever if someone got this working.

Boxing Boot Animation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright guys, started a Boxing boot animation. its a little done, try out. still not done, go ahead and try out. i do not know how to make it into clockwork tho! i did it through root explorer. pushed it to system then media and pasted it and works fine, just need a little help finishing it.

EDIT: currently working on making it go slower, it looks very nice now. I'll be putting some nice effects on it, i'll release it by today. In the meantime, try the other one and leave some feedback!

Another Deviant Development Production
Custom Shutdown QMG File Animations With Sound!

I got tired of not seeing any custom shutdown QMG animations for the s3 or any newer Samsung at all!
So I took matters into my own hands! (evil style)
-These will work on any Samsung with 720x1280 res-
This is not a request page!
I will update with new animations as time permits
Do not redistribute without my permission!
Devs wanting to use them in your roms just shoot me a pm
These QMG files take alot of time and effort to make right, so please be patient!
I did not create the images just resized and converted them and added some evil touches!
Flash these like any other Mod or Theme etc.
Download Animation
Reboot into Recovery
Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
Flash Zip
Reboot & Enjoy!

I never could understand why mods like custom boot animations, sounds and
custom shutdown animations and sounds are so popular with so many people.
In my case the only time I shut my phone down and restart
it is when I am flashing new roms, mods or themes.
Other than that my phone is always on. LOL
Since flashing the Wicked v9.1 rom I have even less of a reason
to shut the phone off and turn it back on, the rom is that good!

Just another way to customize and personalize your phone. Personally I test a lot of stuff so I'm constantly booting my phone into recovery. It's nice not having to look at the samsung logo anymore. Been looking for a custom boot down animation for months. So even though I have no idea what a yoda is, this is still cool as hell.

For the record I just pushed both files and it worked so for those who don't want to flash you can just go ahead and push it.

flash your ROM or pull it out of the ROM zip you flashed and put it in system/media/video/shutdown folder and fix permissions. it should be labeled shutdown.qmg or you can flash your backup you made before flashing this....

I've got the animation but sound is still stock?

Heads up for Sprint Version users, if you go to the system/media folder and find the shutdownanimation.zip and rename it to shutdownanimation_sprint.zip (put an x or something after the original sprint shutdown file to keep it first) then your shutdown animation will look great with this boot. Just an FYI!

I'm on bean stalk, with smoochas.kernel, and I've tried it by renaming it to both bootanimation.zip and bootanimation_Sprint.zip. and no luck
I also tried to go thru the system settings and change boot animation. But no luck.
Any thoughts?

You set permissions to rw-r-r?
on aosp roms bootanimation.zip should work. Just place it in the system/media folder.

Why not pull the ics pandora apk from theme section.....and open both and compare the smali. .? Be easier and you'll be learning as well where to navigate and learn from the process. ..it can't be much different then the ice pandora apk....... I would open both up...and compare and see if they both have that slip xml or smali....and whatever the pandora is..copy it and change it on the one you like... once I get a laptop I'll try to help ya....my desktop broke and don't really have money for a new one to theme, , that's why I haven't been making anything. ..
