Search for 'dsp manager' in the market and you'll find some. I'm using 'Volume+ (Sound Boost)' on an Android v2.3.5 ROM. Not all settings have effect, but is does enable you to increase volume a lot and improve the sound via equalizer. Keep in mind you need to have Android v2.3.x or higher.

HTC one x volume

Has any one else noticed or maybe just me but the volume while listening to music doesn't seem as loud on jelly bean ?

Yes it was always a problem with DHD especially with CM. Try using voulme+ from the market n manually increase the volume, if u increase the volume automatically the volume will be more bursting thn pleasing.

It's a known 'hitch' in CM (pretty much all versions)
Cheers for the responces i just need it abit louder so i can hear it from my pocket

You can use some of the volume booster apps in the market, or use a custom ringtone (like a piano, cause they're really loud when played on the DHD's speakers) or you could use the Sense 4 sounds

Here u go sense 4 ringtones

As for the distorted sound using volume+ when u manually edit the volume setting increase the only last 3 steps.
The last step make it maximum
Second last make it little bit less
And the third last little bit lesser.
Hopefully u will hv better sound without distortion.

Reduce haptick feedback

Like tge title says is ther anyway to reduce vibration intensity on desire hd its feels abit to strong for when i type txts and stuff im on cyanogenmod7
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
The only way I can think is to reduce the duration of the vibration with a 3rd party notification app, don't ask me 4 name of app I don't know.

Ive found the settings on cyanogen settings now its just tweaking the numbers to get perfect vibration balance

Set the answering mod

As you know there are two answering screens.one appears when the phone is locked where you have to slide up to answer.the other is the one which appears when you recieve a call when the phone is awake..this second screen fits my flip cover holes..so is it possible to set this as default?
