Looking for a good case for my Sprint Nexus. Getting it on the first of May and I want to be prepared. I want something hard but not plastic. Also not bulky, something I can slide in my pocket easily.
Highly recommend the Rearth Ringke Slim. Keeps the phone slim and somewhat protected.

Really not a lot of good options for the cdma gnex. Dizttonic is good for a tpu case. Sgp neo hybrid is a nice case but doesn't fit the cdma version perfectly.

I have the ringke case on my GSM nexus and LOVE it! I tried the case on my brother's lte nexus and it does not fit.

I had the ringke slim aphine white case, I love the way it looks and the slimness it looks but it scratch your phone, in my case it did scratch mine, noe I'm using 3 buck gel case which not scratch

Oh... well if the Ringke slim cases aren't for CDMA Galaxy Nexus... guess I made my choice lol
- Galaxy Nexus
Yeah the Ringke slim case scratched the top of my GSM nexus as well. But in my opinion it looks better with the case on anyway.
I rather have my phone free from scratch even it wears a cheapo case, I ordered sgp Neo hybrid case, I think it look more sexy than ringke case and offer more protection as well. I saw many good thing about sgp, I'll find out soon. I disappointed on ringke case because it scratches the phone while put/remove it often.

I have the incipio feather case for my GSM Nexus and i love it. Fits well and the matte finish on it is great as well, adds some more grip to the phone.
Incipio FTW
I have been using the Incipio Feather case for a week now and love it. I got the gray one so it matches the GNex color perfectly.
I have the incipio case verizon sells which within two weeks discolored and I'd rather not use. I then bought the seidio active which is awesome except dirt and dust sticks to it too much and even sticks inside creating tons of like nicks and mini mini scratches which annoys me. Can anyone help me find another good case? I prefer the black/white together look that both of these have.

Anyone have pictures of the kraken or defender next to a case the size of my incipio or seidio

from the way ur saying, sgp neo hybrid is the way to go...i have the silver and red, and both look stunningļ¼ and it hasnt been discolored after a month of use so no worries there

Bleh reviews say it doesn't fit the lte version perfectly. That looks like it would be about perfect and at least a lot less dust attraction.

I would have to say by far this is the best case I have used.
Check out the pictures/video below....

Is there a i9250 version of this? Also where did you get it can't seem to find it on ebay
Thanks, Kenny.

Body glove makes good quality stuff, a little bulky though. I bought a body glove case for my wife's stratosphere. Personally don't like button cutouts though.

Well Jayrod1980
Well I did not buy the BodyGlove with the idea of maximum protection from drops
I think I was drawn into purchasing the BodyGlove case for
Overall finish, materials used to construct the case which provides a one of a kind look and feel with in my situation out weighs overall protection.
I realize if I want to protect my device from random drops I would of purchased an Outterbox Defender or Commuter
Thanks
I'm contemplating getting one of these cases and was wondering if any of you guys had them and what you thought of them so I can get a good idea of which one to order. Thanks

I've had both (Although I had the Commuter for my old LG Optimus One) and I currently have the Seidio Active (Without the kickstand) and the Seidio Active is much much better. The silicone and plastic is much higher quality and it doesn't lose it's shape like most Otterboxes too. The only upside with buying the Otterbox is that is comes with a screen protector (A pretty crappy one anyway) and that's about it. The Seidio case is much better.

I already have the ZAGG screen protector installed so that wouldn't be a deal breaker if it didn't come with one but thanks for your input

By the way does the case get a lot of lint on it and does it get stuck inside pockets and such that's my main concern lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
The Seidio case picks up a little bit of lint, a LOT less than the Otterboxes do. Half the time for me it doesn't pick lint up but when it does it's barely noticeable and wipes off really easily. Can't same the same about the Otterbox though, I had a hell of a time with lint problems when I had one for my old phone.

Do yourself a favor and also check out the Trident Kraken(Excellent Video Review Here). It has an awesome kickstand, tons of accessories that can be bought(11 bucks for a windshield mount? DONE!) and you can take it out of the poly-carb box and use just the silicon sleeve when you don't need it. Plus from everything I read online, Trident offers far superior protection than SEIDO or Otterbox. And the rotatable belt clip is way better than a holster, to me anyway. Give it a look, love mine!
Also if you want slightly less protection(and thickness) consider the Trident Aegis.
Quit hatin' on the Commuter!

Of course the Trident Kraken offers superior protection when compared to the Seidio Active and Otterbox Commuter but it also adds a lot more bulk to your phone. (If you're ok with that, then go for the Kraken! It is the most protective case out of the three!).
And I wasn't hating on the Commuter, I was just stating what I had encountered when I had one with my old phone.
I decided to go with the Seidio Active case with the kickstand. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll update you guys on how it is.

Got the Seidio case in the mail today I love it but the only thing is that it doesn't have any opening for the 3 pin thing on the right side of the phone. I don't know if the Otterbox Commuter has an opening for it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Commuter doesn't have an opening for the pogo pins either. Very few have them open and the only ones I own that have such an opening are some tpu cases I have.

Yeah I don't plan to use them anyways but so far this case is very good but we'll see how it survives a fall which hopefully never happens
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Kraken does not have them either, nor does any high-protection case I have seen.
Would have to say the seidio active is my choice. After i tested it the hard way, due to me being sleep deprived. I was working inside my car engine bay and take off the phone due to getting in the way at times. I just so happened to forget it was in their and then started to drive away to get a drink. I finally realized what happen then went searching for it the case was scratch to heck, but the phone was safe
^ Mother of Buddha :-\
I have what I'm told is a Commuter for sale.. $20 shipped 405-259-2797
I like the little groove on my case from where the kickstand is too makes it feel nice when you hold the phone.

Just wondering I've been using otterbox cases forever now and want to try something new..... is there any cases besides otter box that has port covers ? But is thinner then the otterboxes ?

If you can live without the port covers you should definitely give the UAG case a look.

I love my otter box, but check out Trident. The Aegis and Kraken are on par with the Commuter and Defender. Otterbox stool wins IMO.
