hmm dont found it......

Did you find the power saver settings ?
1) install 'gesture search'
2) run 'gesture search'
3) draw the word S E T T I N G S on screen
4) you will then see the 'power saver settings' - select this.
The is a setting in there to reduce CPU to 1GHz. Not sure what effect it has but you could give it a try...

Try to search for "htc one x power saver settings" on google, and download it, and in that app untick the first option above the "minimal cpu" option. Sorry my device is not english, thats why i dont know the names of options if that doesnt work, look around in the default settings, what can set or affect your messages while in sleep mode...

Heat

Hi just got my one x. She's getting hot a lot. Might be a stupid question but is it possible to turn two of the cores off? As I said might be a stupid question
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
The problem isnt that all your cores are turned on, but the heat is because only 1 of your cores are turned on. Please go to google play, type into search "hidden settings", download the app, then in the newly created power saver settings (its between the apps) turn off the second option (decrease speed of the CPU, or something like that, my app isnt english) and now you will have a colder but faster HOX

not sleeping as in the cpu is not in deep sleep or the screen remains unlocked? If the screen remains unlocked then check your screen time out settings. if the cpu is not in deep sleep then it may be a kernel issue(didn't repacked when you're supposed to).
Thanks and double thanks....
Saved me from resetting...
My 1 yr kid reached the quicksettings when i was in sleep mode

I'm not sure whether the apps can do it or not, but you can check some parental control apps to see whether you can disable your kids from changing the settings so that things like these won't happen again

(Q) Best multi core cpu control app?

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to what it's the best app to control the cpu in the one x. I've tried a few but ideally am looking for one that can control the votes separately. I tried core control but every time I click set on boot it turns itself off so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

auto brightness not working

has anybody notice their auto brightness not working as it should ,
i mean is not adjusting , I have an app which is really good for the auto brightness , which is call Lux auto brightness. the app keeps crashing and freezing ,
when i use the auto brightness with the phone, is always high , even when the light is low , it still high .
anybody else notice that . or just me ?
Go into lux Settings > Advanced > Debug Sensors. Make sure they are reading proper values. Out of the box lowest sensor should read 90

It's always 90 .. lol
The app misbehave when I'm using it , even the screen acts funny ..
It shouldn't always be 90. Move it in and out of light. See if it changes
