Would anyone be willing to make a modded Sense MMS apk that will work with Virtuous Unity (Sense 3)? I need the MMS sizes to be modded to the sizes in Sense 2.1 (mainly the 1.2 mb size). This is the only way MMS will work for me since my phone is flashed to Cricket. TIA!

Its not the apk that gets edited
Its system/customize/mns/default.XML
There's a section on mms size and settings...you all need to data wipe and reflash the from with that file modified in the rom zip for it to change

When I was on RC1 of Misfits Speedy port I had no problem with using the Sense 3.0 apk. When I installed the Odex version, I get FC when I try to open messaging. Anyone know how to fix this or know where I can possibly find a version that will work on the Odex Rom. I would've posted there but for some reason I still can't post in the Development section :-(

Is there any way to install sense 3.0 messaging in a sense 2.1 ROM?? I'm currently running mikg 2.56 and its awesome but I don't like the 3.0 lockscreen...I have a sense 2.1 ROM ready to flash but I'd like to have 3.0 messaging...any suggestions? If possible I'd like to use root explorer cause I don't have a computer handy at the moment. Thanks in advance.

One thing you can do is go to settings, display and at the bottom click on the stock android lockscreen and it will change to the tab lockscreen. Hope this helps

You could try pulling the message apk from mikg and then push it to the system partition on your new Rom and install it.

Exactly, just place it in /system/app
Hello, I am running Juggernaut v5.0 (2.3.6) and I was wondering if there is a way to replace the stock messaging app with the stock ICS messaging app. I didn't know if there was a way to do this or not, but I was curious.
any help would be greatly appreciated
no. it's not compatible with GB
Thank you, I was wondering if it was or not haha. Since there are MIUI builds of GB do you think a MIUI based messaging app could be used in place of the stock app?

should work. just push it with root explorer to system/app and restart.
make sure to back up the date before you do this
