{OEM} i9100 usb host ET-R205UBEGSTA - Galaxy S II Accessories

Amazon.com has OEM samsung usb host cable for only 11 dollars. i know ebay has cheaper ones too but this is for those looking for a genuine samsung usb host cable. samsung.com has it for 20bux, tax and shipping is extra $.

My official adapter came defective and is generally too big and clumpy to be worth even a dollar. My 2 cents: go third party every time

micro usb cable

So I'm looking at the micro usb cables on amazon.. which micro is the evo? type a/b/c/d/. etc.. hopefully type b.. only 4 dollars shipped. Why do they charge $20 or more locally?
There is only one type of micro cable, micro not mini and standard USB on the other end.

Because people are willing to pay $20. It costs $1 or less to make.. nice markup, eh? I bought two OEM Samsung made cables for $5/each shipped on eBay.. couldn't be happier.
BTW: Stay away from aftermarket cheapo cables.. they go bad. I've gone through 2-3 Mini USB cables when I had my Hero.
I ordered 5 6ft cables from Monoprice on Tuesday and got them today. $1.22each

Mini USB to Micro USB Adapter

Does anyone know where I can buy a mini USB to Micro USB adapter for my car charger? I don't want to have to buy another car charger.
i bought a few of these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N8JJ04/ref=oss_product
they're pretty great
i chose them over a smaller rigid converter, because these are less likely to break your usb connectors
Check Monoprice.com
I went looking for low-cost adapters while waiting for my phone to ship, and there just didn't seem to be any that were cost-effective.
I wound up buying a brand new car charger for $6 on amazon and a handful of new USB to micro USB cables for less than $2 each on monoprice.
I can't see the economy in spending $5 to make my $4 mini-usb charger compatible with my phone, when a new charger is just $5 anyway. I really hope that monoprice starts selling some ridiculously cheap adapters in the near future.
Thank you very much!
Exactly what I was looking for. Now I need to come up with $25 worth of stuff to get the free shipping.
you can also get them at radio shack or bestbuy.. except at best by you have to buy it with a short cable as well cause that the only way they sell it, at radio shack you can by it by itself
I called Radio Shack, $12.95, ouch and no thank you. I can buy a whole charger for that price at WalMart.
Petronic's point is well taken. Gonna follow the same route too.
Thank you for all of the replies!

These deal seem to be to good to be true. Anyone order from them before?
dealextreme.com is real popular in the GPS hacking world. I have never had any issues. Google them and I think you will find they are well used and received.

Dealextreme got some great price. But shipping take about a few week because of international shipping from china. And customer service is bad. I purchase many thing there. For the price you will pay for a item there is a you how you say, "you get what you pay". Ebay us buyer is the best choice for faster shipping and little pricer item for HTC Evo.

Bottomline: its cheap, and works if you need to transfer data, but it doesnt work to convert a mini usb charger to a micro

I picked a couple adapters. I wanted to use one on a charger and one on a data cable. But when I plug them in, the phone thinks it has been docked and I can't use it as a data cable. Will the one linked above work on a data cable?
http://www.meritline.com/mini-usb-micro-adapter---p-47016.aspx $2.09 shipped.
dealextreme.com is legit. I ordered from there two times.
If you want to have some real fun order there cell phone signal blocker. It works awesome! There is nothing more fun that being in a car with someone talking on their cell phone and a second later they are having their call dropped. F'n hillarious!

$6.95 OEM Samsung USB Wall Charger + Data/Charging USB Cable for Captivate SGH-i897!

Check out www all4cellular DOT com
They have the OEM Samsung Captivate (U.S./Edison) Wall Charger and USB Charging+Data Cable for $6.95 + $2 Shipping. It is normally $9.95 but that is still a good price.
The item number is "eta0u60jbe". But this item # includes BOTH the OEM USB Wall Charger (# ETA0U60JBE) AND the OEM USB-to-Micro USB data/charging Cable (# ECC1DU2BBE)!
I bought two of these and they are EXACTLY like the original Charger and ~5ft. USB Cable that comes with the Captivate. They are OEM (Samsung-branded) and labeled and are NOT Chinese-made knock-offs. I am in SoCal and received them within a few days of ordering. These will work for all Galaxy S phones (and probably Nexus S as well?)
I'm a noob here so I can't post a direct link, so Remove the Spaces and replace the "DOT" with "." and you've got a clickable link:
www DOT all4cellular DOT com / samsung-eta0u60jbe-wall-charger DOT html
Hope this helps!

Nice find, but that website is dog slow.
^^^ spam!!!
monoprice .com is better!
bbfoto, thanks so much! I bought two micro-USB because they were so dirt cheap. You are a life saver....only $2 shipping as well. $8.90 for two OEM cables shipped.....not bad at all.
Thanks.
Great deals!
those two sites are amazing
Did anyone receive their charger yet? I still haven't gotten mine and it was scheduled to be delivered sometime between the 12th and 15th.
I made a thread with the same thing for half the price and free shipping off Amazon.
I got my cables in the mail and I'm soooooo happy. I can flash again! Definitely OEM cables with a tight and perfect fit. I thought $9 for 2 USB data cables shipped was an insane price.
just bought one my self...cant beat $8.95 for item and shipping.

OTG cables finally available

Just thought I'd let everyone know that OTG cables are available on ebay now for under $20. This might be a decent alternative to the bulkier samsung adapters.
Rob
Wow thats expensive the reason why they came out with these is we don't have to pay 20$ for the Samsung one
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
bought one already, looks promising to me
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gala...ht_5664wt_1157
seems that there is higher chance for logitech keyboard and mouse set to work properly
I can't believe they're charging $20 for those. They're worth $5 max. Just because samsung is shooting themselves in the foot by overcharging doesn't mean I'm going to be suckered into paying for one.

These aren't official Samsung cables, they're 3rd party ones. I'm expecting that the price on them will probably drop very quickly...
so what's the major differences between this and the samsung oem stubby one? aren't they both host dongles?
granted i have not been able to run peripherals on my tab... at least not my ps3 controller
What is the main use for these guys??
Connect pen drives, memory cards adapters, mouse, keyboard, gamepads.
Only thing not working is powered usb like hdd usb.
9.5 Bucks on Ebay.

Motorola 3000 mAh power pack for $9 free ship

I have one of these and really like it. They retail for $60, which is of course too much to pay for them. But $9 is a great deal!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-Un...0-for-Apple-iPhone-Samsung-More-/191401749892
You can get 2 for $15 also:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-Un...Apple-iPhone-Samsung-More-2-Pak-/221595507338
I have purchased from this seller before and I have no complaints (N/A). The power packs have a button you can press to see how much charge is left - there are 4 lights that light up to indicate charge level. In addition to the the built-in micro USB cable, there is a USB cable port that you can use if you have a lighting data cable to charge an iPhone.
These also are sold on Amazon for the same price but you either have to have Prime or buy $35 worth of stuff to get free shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...d_t=201&pf_rd_p=1944687462&pf_rd_i=B00H6WXVSI
I believe it comes with a Motorola micro USB travel charger as shown in the pictures above.
