Did you even read the Addvanced Ace Hack Kit thread? About 20 lines down in huge red letters it states this:
•Sense 3, including those with RELOCKED HTC BOOTLOADERS (NOTE: NOT UNLOCKED - MUST BE LOCKED OR RELOCKED) is auto-detected in hack step. Option is given to download a GB RUU and downgrade or abort. This WILL wipe data.

Sense 3 is the 2.3.5 ROM. So yes it will work but it has to downgrade the ROM and it gives you the option to do so.
The Hack Kit works for all version of sense. Don't follow tutorials, just read the OP thread, the effen manual and follow instructions. It you do so, will work as a charm.

No, that video is missing a lot of information. Do as glevatin advised and read the kit, if not chances are you'll post again saying your phone is "messed" up

which one? 2.1 or 1.5? if 2.1, then u're out of luck.

If you are using a 1.5 Singapore set then you can follow this guide:

You will need to do the GoldCard method and downgrade your ROM first.

I think what he is talking about is creating a standard update zip for the new singapore 2.1 ROM .We don't have a fully working one yet.

But all is gone there. Post was changed 2 days ago.
My question:
- How to Root and S-off my Phone?
- Is it a problem that it is unlocked via HTCdev.com?
- DHD on 2.3.5? A problem?

You should relock your bootloader before using the hack kit. I think...

using an old version of the kit might mess your bootloader, as in the first version froyo RUU's were used. Make sure that u use the last version of it.....just a tip: follow my signature...

Captain throwbacks guide is as easy as it gets pal. It even has pictures to guide you.. 1 more thing... Finz has a thanks button over <--- ^^^ that way... Don't forget to hit it.

Happy New Year first of all you had to open a thread in the general section. You are not developing anything from what I see.
Secondly I recommand the Ace Hack kit which worked fine in my phone and in my girlfriends phone, try this post:

That should not be used. That is why it was closed, so be grateful that it didn't work.
The only game in town to root and gain S-OFF your device is the Hack Kit. Use the hack kit site and no other stuff, it will jam you up and won't get enough support.
