[WALLPAPERS] Homemade and battery saving Nexus backgrounds!

Hey guys!
I originally made these wallpapers for the nexus S, but I've resized them for the Galaxy Nexus.
The idea behind them is that they are battery saving for your screen using minimalistic deisgns with as much black as possible, but as much nexus pride in them as possible as well.
- YES i did make them from scratch
- YES they were originally just for me, but i am sharing.
- YES its awesome.
- YES it is centered AFAIK :silly:
- NO i do not want your donations (money saving for you, and less guilt for me)
- NO re-distribution without consent
- NO signature so you can have a nice clean wallpaper without "faithcry designs" at the bottom corner. :good:
- NO i will no put up with your rude comments are remarks, everything on this forum is FREE so stop complaining.
- MAYBE i will take requests, but backgrounds take a long time to make, and I have a life outside of XDA

It is a black and red theme.
Things to do:
Somehow theme the gapps (dialer and stuff) to be more black and red
Change some text colors.

Only suggestion would be to rid the extra bulk of the hdpi folders they are unnecessary unless that app only uses hdpi like the framework has multiple versions xhdpi,hdpi,mdpi etc but hdpi is unecessary as xhdpi and hdpi and mdpi will conform and be used the same way and it wont look bad. Like my epic 4g is hdpi but my theme is xhdpi only.. but it works and looks just fine. Just an FYI to keep the size of the apk down. Only use hdpi as it proves to be necessary for alternate apps that only use that folder resource for their icon such as Terminal Emulator and the like. Other than that i would also go through and make the horid yellow red too but its a nice start .

Updating a slightly updated version to dropbox, check op in 5mins

Nice! I changed the Manchester United logo for a Liverpool one though. /Jk

I just tried it out and it looks pretty good. I still have a lot of blue in the dialer, app/widget drawer, the overscroll effect in settings and the clock (I don't mind the clock still being blue though)
I was also kinda hoping the softkeys would be themed as well.
It looks great so far though! One of the best red themes I've tried so far.

I should and probs should of said these are all unofficial and have been done because I'm a fan of the Rom
I didn't want to overload the main thread with wallpapers.. so.. this post.
I've been running the great Xylon Rom long enough to do these and thought I'd share.
The wallpapers were gathered from xda and stock and zedge. I placed the logo on 'em.
A big thanks for the Rom to DaXmax (whom I trust is OK with me posting these) and those on the team and a thanks to those who posted
this is in my anticipation of 16
Clocks are flashable at your own risk.

(I'm sorry I can't name names but I honestly can't remember where I got most from).
The Wallpaper zips are for unzipping not flashing.

Here are some png's for button replacing. White and Blue in the Zip + an extra logo home key and extra recents keys
Now in the Zip. Unzip the zip and manually apply png in the rom settings
And Thanks to ecs1984's awesome post I can share these four clocks.
You'll need to use a file manager to replace the current desk clock, change perms and reboot.

As much as I'd like to, I'm just not getting to it.. Here's a few.

I've never been on a rom this long... Maybe bugless beast on the moto droid.
Fyi:: The nav bar softs are not png icons so i have to make the nav glow black or i get the box frame. I don't mind i usually go no glow anyways.

They are just walls pulled from Google Now. You can use them as your wallpaper. Google Now automatically updates the picture according to the time and your location

ahhhhh cool, thanks for letting me know. i've not really used google now much up to now, time to give it a go.....and cheers for the walls, there pretty cool !!!

Hi when I set these as wallpaper, the wallpapers are all blury and I cant see the whole picture, only a very small part of it.
Can someone tell me how to stop it being blury? I have a similar problem with other Wallpapers shared in the Nexus 4 wallpaper thread

Wonder if there's someone with a nexus 4 from Japan here to pull the Japan Google Now image off their phone. Only one missing. Hong Doesn't have a specific Google Now image, just a generic pic of the skyline from when I was there.

Agree, dark wall is the all time juice saver. Gonna dig out my collection for the dark one, hopefully can get more.

You can't really. Just make the crop fit the entire image.
