I had Goldcard but it useless to up rom from HTC__622 to HTC__044
I unlock bootloader by htcdev then change Cid but error, cid now still HTC__622
Anyone know why ???
we need s-off to change cid

My Marvel is unlocked via HTCDev unlock tool.
hboot is now 1.08.0099
Permanently rooted.
I just try to change CID and
fastboot oem writecid HTC__001
... INFO[ERR] Command error !!!
Should I change hboot or something? How?

Pay for it or wait on full s-off, or just be happy with unlock.
small question why do u need to change CID ?
The question is how not why or what for.
But just to have WWE CID HTC__001 instead T-MOB009.

I doubt it. An unlocked bootloader + CWM Recovery + root is probably sufficient for flashing a ROM.

Can't change cid with this method, I guess it's not possible with any method for ONE V so far beside the micro-box witch is not free.

You can flash anything on a super CID device.
As long as the CID matches the RUU your installing.
But on superCID devices, you can change your CID. So change your CID to match the RUU and your away.

You need to be S-OFF to change CID, And currently HTC One X cannot be S-OFF
Anyone have RUU for primou cid HTC_023 (Australia)?
