i cant tell whether ther is one on or not.
can someone please confirm.
im asking because i only found out my t-mobile pulse had a screen protector when it smashed one day.
My factory sealed Wildfire did not come with a screen protector.
Mine didn't have one on it
Mine had one one it which had all writing on it to tell me to take it off. I just went and purchased an invisibleshield after that.
just the factory warning one with remove before use on mine
My son has a Wildfire and it had no screenprotector in the box, only the thin plastic wich should be removed.
You really dont need one, it has a freakin gorilla glass

I don`t think it has Gorilla Glass.
According to gsmarena, it does.

According to GSMArena, the Wildfire has an Adreno 200 GPU, the same unit as on the Desire. So, I wouldn't go by what GSMArena says on the Wildfire, even though it is probably the mobile site of my choice.

According to me, it doesnt. When i bought it, i had to wait 3 days to get an invisibleshield protector, and i got a small almost unnoticeable scratch on there during that 3 day period, even tough i kept my wildfire in Golla pouch.

Now that`s interesting....
Funny thing, it was never a selling point for the Wildfire, like it was for other phones.
I put on a screen protector and after a week or two there is a big scratch on it that makes the touch feel much less smooth. I end up replacing it with a new one every three weeks or so.
Is this normal to do that?

Maybe you are using cheap, 3 for 2$ screen protectors. Those are pretty much crap.
Mine actually came with 2
One on the bottom (which attacts finger prints like ****)
And one above that one which was quite rigid when I had to take it off.
F/S (UK) Rock NakedShell, Rock TPU Grey, Casemate Barely There, 3x Screen Protectors
Rock cases as new, Casemate almost as new. Sold the One X for a Nexus.
£12 including free 1st class shipping if youre not bothered about the Rock packaging.
PM me Cheers.
EDIT MODS: Please can you move to the For Sale section I posted it here by accident! Cheers Sean.
Why on earth would you sell the one x for a nexus, worse hardware throughout but gets updates quickest. The way the cm10 roms are going I would have stuck with one x.

Oh but I will ask is 15 lowest you are willing to accept and where abouts are ya? Thnx.

Im near Doncaster. Im a reliable fella. You can have my address as 'insurance' if you buy
Id like it to be the lowest. The casemate cases are upwards of 10 quid and the Rock cases are 6-7 quid but you have to wait 2-3 weeks delivery from eBay they tend not to be in the UK

Because its faster and smoother than the One X with JB installed, consistent 4.5 to 5hr screen on time, removable battery, camera is better according to several reviews, better build quality i had several one xs with issues (camera and button rattle, rippling, screen gaps, light bleed round the screen edge in the dark), and it just works. I love the fact its CM supported and google supported. Its also easier and more comfortable to hold (i have big hands) and i gained 200 quid on the swap. The only thing better on the one x is the screen imo and even then the Nexus' is still very very good and is calibrated to proper colour levels thanks to custom kernel colour control - no amoled over saturation deep blacks.
Lowered price to 12 quid w/free 1st class post
Bumpy all for a tenner with free p and p
Bump. Still for sale. 10 quid for all the 3 cases, 2 screen protectors and free postage.
I'll take them for £10 delivered please
If these are still available I'd like to take them.

Evening,
I've recently brought a ZAGG IS from Carphone warehouse and had them fit it twice, because it wasn't 'to my standards'. I had it replaced again yesterday and left it for 24 hours this time until I turned it on and used it. Once I had turned it on, I had noticed quite a few small watermarks, like a rainbow affect on the screen. I'm guessing its from the liquid they use to stick it to the screen. Will these marks go away after a few days - up to a week?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
give it 3 days, those marks should be gone. If not, give it a week
Ok thank you. I was just worried about it damaging the screen.

Rubbish
Having had it replaced 4 times by Carphone warehouse, ended up taking it back in the end and getting my money back. Worst £15 spent, there a load of rubbish.

I've used Zagg for some years now - in my experience they're very good.
Of course I fit it myself, and take a long, long time in doing so!
I reckon the"experts" at CPW rushed the job - I've very rarely had bubbles or streaks once I've (finally) finished the application.
Same here, very disappointed on that shield. The installation is so hard plus the plastic is very noticeable...

Those marks didn't go away at all on my shield, but I'll rather have them than get my screen scratched.

Invisible shield HD
Hi.
I've ordered the Invisible Shield HD for my One X. Anybody here who got it on their device? What's your opinion about it?

Giganten79
I had one on my HTC Inspire since I had it and it was great, even though I had to get it replaced once because I got water under the screen putting it on. Just got the One X and its so crystal clear and smooth when you get it on right and wait for it to dry

Yes, fare enough the case is good - offers a load of protection - I would have loved to have kept it. I just think that they rushed the job, each time. And for the money, I think there is better out there for cheaper - hopefully lol, because I'm on the look again.

Hi guys,
I want to buy a new one x but I can't make up my mind about the color yet. I mean I like the white one but I'm worried that it will get dirty easily specially that I intend to use it without a cover. Can you share on your experience using a white one x without a cover?
Mine has stayed pretty clean. I use it with and without a case.
It really depends on who's carrying the phone, there are some clumsy people who just put their mobile anywhere they like, and their are some people who are just conscious who keeps thinking what if i put it here and there will it get some scratch or so whatever.
For me, just keep it balance, put the phone in a place that you know it'll be safe and neat, though i am one of the owner of black one, white HOX is pretty descent as well, my cousin has one and he is still maintaining the smoothness and cleanliness of it.
It doesn't get dirty much but I always have a case as I read a newspaper on my morning commute to work and the ink rubs off very easily onto the phone or clear or white cases. So I use a black case so it doesn't show any ink marks! As long as your hands are clean it should stay white.

I have the white one close to four months now. At first, I used a case because I feared dirt or scratch marks. But after one or two weeks I ditched the case and never looked back. My phone is still clean and I have no scratch marks whatsoever.
I have white one x no problems I don't even use a case but I recommend waitin for the one x+ should be out soon

Hi everyone.
I recently bought a Lumia 920, but is having some serious problems with the vibrator. I have exchanged the phone to a similar one, but I am going to Exchange this one too. I can't live with the Rattle.
I had the One S earlier, but I didn't like it because it had a static noise whenever I talked to someone, and had to lower the volume to a degree where I couldn't here them. Is that also a problem with the One X.? I know the One X uses a different processor than then One S, and probably a different chip for noise cancellation.?
And how is the reception on it.? Nokia is picking up 3G where I previosly couldn't with my iPhone, is the polycarbonat body helping the One X in similar way.?
Any help would be highly appriciated.
One X has none of the problems you just described. It's a nice phone, and only it's average battery life gets in the way.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Ok. I looked at the One X at the store today, and if there really isn't any problems with it(despite battery) i'm going back to Android.
I do Work in a place with crappy coverage and was told the S3 was one of the worst, the store couldn't say if the X had that problem, but had never heard of it.
Just don't do it. The one x is the worst pos phone for build quality I have ever owned. Do some research and buy something decent like an s3
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I did some research, but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. There have been a research in Denmark, that tested the S3 and iPhone 5 to have the worst antennas, I am therefore a bit worried about exchanging it with the S3.
How bad is the quality of the One X, and what is wrong with it.?
I dont know what exactly the other user meant by "The one x is the worst pos phone for build quality I have ever owned.", but so far the One X is on my top list for design and material strength, bought my phone 6 months ago, barely any scratches on screen and 0 scratches on body(i've dropped it from 1 meter height around 5 times, indoors), the polycarbonate body is very flexible and there is a very thin coating of self-healing material (not sure about black model).
The problems with One X :
1- glass lens is a little loose and easily scratch-able
2- the phones signals (wifi/3G/GPS) go insanely bad if you apply bending forces on the phone.
3- screen is "bulging out" and if you drop the phone facedown on rough surface(asphalt/rocks) you will definitely break the screen. (which phone wont :S)

Are you seriously comparing One X build quality with the Galaxy S3 of all phones? No one compares build quality of any phone with Samsung. Period. Any Samsung phone, even if it has very good internal hardware, always feels like a cheap Chinese phone due to Samsung's inane choice of materials.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Ok.
I exchanged it to a Samsung SG3 instead. Couldn't really decide, but I read that the One X had problems with WI-FI, and that really was the only thing that made me choose Samsung. Love the One X design and the SG3.
Thank you for your help, and as a note. If you consider buying the Lumia 920, don't. I went to 3 different stores, and they are all sending the remaining phones in as DOA because of the Rattle problem. Tried 6 phones and they all had the Rattle.
Damn, that's messed up. I didn't expect that from Nokia. How did they miss such an obvious issue during manufacturing?
One X doesn't have any major WiFi issues, at least none that I've noticed in daily usage. There was something about WiFi reception gaining/dropping if the back is flexed real hard (don't remember properly). But if you're a heavy phone user, and you use your phone a lot when you're outside and don't want to be crippled by battery, you did good by getting the SGS3.
