Anyone know if a porting of the HTC One S stock ROM to the EVO would be possible? I know we're very close to the initial release. Just curious.
Everything would have to be resized due to screen differences. We have a better chance with a HTC one V port since its WVGA display like our evo

Hello
Before people get all bent up, yes I belong in the droid incredible or evo forums. However, I thought I would seek the help of desire z devs on this one since they have more knowledge of the new sense.
I was hoping someone here could help with porting the camera to dinc or evo based roms that still have 2.2 sense. We already have decent working port of the desire z rom with the camera working half way. Unfortunately, our stock cameras are horid and the desire camera is far better imo.
Would anyone be able to share their thoughts on the possibilty of running the desire camera on the 2.2 sense framework since much of the development on the dinc and evo is based off of it.

In the Nexus forum is a port from Sense to 2.2.

Any luck with this KGB? Tried out a Z rom and liked that camera on there.
but if android is open source, why we can acesse to libraries of camera
I see that the Thunderbird ROM uis booting on the EVO.
I'm guessing it could mean we could see that ROM ported to the Inc ?
Are any Dev's considering this ?
I could not find it in the Evo thread, could you point it out?
I thought the Thunderbolt was supposed to be similar to the Desire Z style of Sense, just with a few Verizon specific apps.
Am I wrong?

It's very similar, but its a cdma version so it should be more stable plus it probably has some new optimization to make it faster

Hi developers,curious question is anyone going to attempt a rom based on the desire s? Only reason i ask is because its tge closest maybe to the desire than porting hd roms etc,i am running a hd rom so happy days! Just saying it might adapt better? Though i know sweet fa lol

Is it possible to use a theme from another HDPI (Nexus S, Evo, etc.) device that was made for CM7 on the G2/Desire Z?
Sorry if this is a noob question, but I just recently started using CM7 and i thought I had read that you could somewhere, but don't remember where.

I don't think your supposed to post this here, but there is a post somewhere in the general section for One V talking about it.
On a side note: A lot of people, I believe at least, are waiting for it to be port to a device with a "not so different" screen then ours or more similar hardware.

HTC wont be releasing an official JB rom for the OneV but eventually, they will release something similar enough that we can port. We have no hardware limits, like the wildfire S does/did so the sky is totally our limit
The one x+ shipped with sense jellybean I will try to learn ROM porting this Christmas after I learn kernels

I hate sense - it looks ugly and old fashioned! But the camera would be welcome.. I miss it.. the one on PA ( and I guess all JB roms) sucks..
