[HELP] Bricked Desire Z

hi guys,
I have a serious problem right now. I flashed an ENG SPL previously. After which I flashed back the original hboot which i got from the rom.zip i extracted from shipped-rom. Now the phone is dead. I cant power on, cant go into recovery, cant go into fastboot. The only thing I can detect is Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM when I connect the phone to the laptop.
I found a solution to restore using QDLTool, however, it seems that is for Dell Streak. Anybody tried that for Desire Z?

[Q] Desire HD Gingerbread Upgrade 2.36

Hi guys,
I have got a seriouw problem with the upgrade of my HTC Desire HD to the new leaked official ROM 2.36 etc. 'Gingerbread'. when I have downloaded the .exe from this website (by mirror) and would like to upgrade my phone, the first steps all go flawless.
Immediately when the upgrade program restarts my phone to access the bootloader, the HTC logo appears in my screen and stays there. After about two minutes, the program says that my phone is not properly connected with the usb cable to my computer and it ends the upgrade procedure. when I disconnect the phone, it won't restart itself and I should pull out the battery to restart the phone...
Does anybody have the same problem? How have you fixed this? Or does anybody has any idea how I can fix this?
Many thanks!
Was your phone rooted before trying the update?
Is your Desire HD unlocked?

Desire Z don´t boot anymore, maybe bricked ?

Hi all,
i´ve a problem with my Desire Z.
When i´m starting the Phone it hangs at the HTC Logo.
The first idea was to recover via HBoot.
But i comes a a phone Icon with a red Triangle.
The second idea was to flash the RUU via HBoot.
The programm recognize the phone.
At the flash procedure it comes first "restart bootloader".
But after "restart bootloader and wait for bootloader" it hangs and it comes a usb error message.
Can anyone help ?
It´s a unrooted and unbranded HTC Desire Z.
Check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1173100 and see if it's a similiar problem, might be a hardware issue.
