Does not work with our FFC

I have gotten it to work almost every time I tried it. To get it just put a file named .forcefaceunlock on the root of your sd card and reflash gapps. The apk and its assets will probably be in the gapps folder

With any file explorer... just add a file to the root of your sd card... I'm sure you know how to create a file right? Well create one called .forcefaceunlock on the root of the sd card....

You can just download the right ROM (or preferably potatoman version) and extract it from system/app and put it in corresponding folder on your SGS2 with the right permissions in root explorer like so:

Hi Norpan111.
Yes that is the original/modded dark theme for MIUI I believe. Could be wrong as it was some time ago and I used an old picture to illustrate.
Good to hear back from Sweden
When I browse my sd card, and try to open a specific folder using Root Explorer or the "Root Browser" tool in Rom Toolbox, the folder appears empty. However when I browse my sd card on my PC while connected to USB in disk mode, or with the Script Manager app, or while in recovery, the folder contains all the files I have placed there previously that I would expect to see. Permissions for the folder are set to "--xrwxr-x" just as all my other folders on the sd card are set to. I am rooted (obviously), running Deck's 1.3d with Tiamat 3.3.7, and using DarkTremors a2sd.
Any ideas why the files are not visible in certain apps?
Edit: see attached screenshots.

You can always backup the contents, format the card, then move what you need back.
It might not fix it, but it definitely shouldn't hurt.

Thanks, plainjane. I will give that a try in the next couple days and let you know how it works out.
Problem solved: renamed the folder in question. Must have been a bad character that the explorer didn't like.

I am still on stock TW but made a quick dialer for CM10 JellyBean (Sprint) and I need someone to test it and tell me how it looks.
Make a backup first just in case then use ES File explorer or similar to copy and paste into system/app
This contacts.apk is from cm-10-20120722-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip release, just in case you need to know, but I believe it should work on all cm10 releases.
Changes you should notice are dialer buttons, contact list picture and in-call contact picture. The Dialer should look similar to stock TW, more or less.
Post screenshots.
downloaded, placed in system apps with root explorer, rebooted. No issues

I did not make this bootanimation, this is the the work of thaPhlash. I simply edited the colors a bit cuz i like variety. There are 7 to choose from. Download the zip file. Inside you will find six bootanimations labeled with the color. Change the name to bootanimation.zip and copy/paste to system/media folder. set permissions to rw-r-r (0644).
Sweet thanks!

it would take longer to flash this than just copy and paste. read the post below and that will help you with with what permissions are.

You can use a root browser. When you long press something it gives you the options of changing permissions

I have been on a quest for most of the day to find as many white themed S4 apps for our Stock 4.3 Roms. Here are the links to the Apps for anyone interested. I take no credit for these.
1.Posted by Cnexus in his thread. All apps work perfect.

Extract and drop in /system/app. Make sure you delete the old .odex files too because these are deodexed.

2. White Settings that work perfectly (didn't try the other apps)

Here
3. White Job manager, My Files and Calculator (Clock Package didn't work, didn't try the other apps)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341324
Here. Download and extract to get individual apps, wouldn't advise flashing this zip
I used all these apps on Cnexus' Stock Rooted DeOdexed rom with no issues.
Nice

Yeah just move to the system folder and rename the original. Change permissions and reboot. Always make a backup, I had to reinstall the rom a few times when messing with system apps.
