[Solved]Galaxy y probs >:(

hey guys i bought a galaxy y a month ago n i am facing many problems..
firstly my phone reboots anytime it likes..... happened thrice so far today .. it started today ..
secondly my BACK button doesnt seem to work dunno wtf is going on..
some times some apps force closes..
my device status: unrooted , custom rom, stock recovery.. i have never done ny dev stuff on it..
can plz some one help me with the same??

I think reflashing it will solve this problem.
and for the back button this was really a problem until i update it now it doesn't occur so often as it used to.

i dont wanna flash or do something that voids my warranty.. though i will go to the service center but for now the service center will be closed but cant wait till tomo

I too was scared to void my warranty when I was new to xda.
But believe me , the guys at samsung service centre dont even know that hour bad u have f'd ur cell.
And in this case , we all are there to help u.
Just flash the stock firmware again or update......

man i am not affraid of loosing my warranty.. i have an htc cell n i am a developer at htc wildfire s forum.. its just that i ****ing dont trust samsung.. if someday my digitalizer starts giving me prob then they are the one who will fix it for free.. (though i can do it my self but then it will cost me money if i do it at home )

1. One reason why SGY reboots (based on my experience) is if the system's free memory gets too small. As what I have learned from Zeppelinrox is that Android caches apps that are running in the background but the problem is that sometimes it gets locked in the memory and causes free memory to shrink. If this is the case, the system will be forced to do a reboot to clear memory.
2. This happens to me if my hands are sweaty and/or if the phone's digitizer is greasy. If this happens to you, try to wipe your phone and clean your hands. Also, you might want to use a matte type (anti-finger print) screen protector as this type of film resists moisture and oil/grease unlike the clear type film.
3. App FC's can be caused by:
-slow SD Cards. This applies if your app is installed on SD card, this is simmilar to delayed read/write in Windows OS.
-permission issues
-lack of free memory
-cracked apps(I'm not saying you pirate apps)
BTW: Most of the Custom ROM available are pre-rooted. What custom ROM are you using which as what you said is not rooted(your phone)?
PS. My reply is based on what I experienced with my phone, I may be right or I may be wrong. Anyway, you can ask Google if you have doubts

I realize it's still in beta but is everyone experiencing this with this game ?
Anyone install chainfire 3d drivers succesfully on their rooted stock rom and does that fix this problem or are we just wating for the developers to patch and update the game on the market ?

Anyone, anyone at all !!!!! Someone clarify if you are getting the same issue with this game on this phone. Other than that this phone is amazing. Best out right now IMO and who cares about the note 2 that's like having a boat in your pocket.

I tried downloading this game and got the same thing. Loading screen the it just exits.

Same deal for me man. I even tried doing the aspect ratio fix built into the phone, still no good.

Hey guys how are you all today? My name is jeff and yes im a newb here lol...i kinda need some help.....i have a rooted S3 running CM 10.1 nightlys, gapps from goo.im and a zip of the 4.2 camera....Now, first off, I would like to say I love CM and i think they do an amazing job....but lately ive been having so many problems. When i boot up i immediately get a force close from Youtube, my camera and gallery crash often, in my app drawer i have 2 cameras and 2 gallerys but when i go to manage apps to disable the stock 4.1 camera so i can only see the 4.2 cam....neither of them show up in app manager. Appolo gets a force close once and a while..my phone freezes up etc...Basically, im just starting to have alot of problems and it is now to the point where i feel like going back to stock rom would ease the headaches...Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a somthing i can do to make this all run smoother? I would just like to have 4.2.2 WITH Photosphere AND all the google apps. Im thinkng that the version of the camera im running is outdated and maybe there is a better one i can flash?? Or is there a ROM out there that is stable that i might like? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you all in advance and have a great day!!

Paranoid Android, when used with the PA gapps, has photosphere and is pretty stable.

It also sounds like you need to do a full wipe and try again. Lots of issues that shouldn't be issues for the latest releases of anything let alone cm10.1

I know right....i havent had this many problems with CM in the past. But i just did a full wipe, both wipes as well as the dalvik and it was after that i began to have the problems? Ill give it another try! Thanks again!

I am using lewa rom on nokia x but games like candy crush,beach buggy glitz etc but they close after opening,dom3616 gave suggestion to me that reinstall the rom no change please anybody has a suggestion how to solve the problem or should i change to another rom

sir, as i am using the lewa rom its bueatiful and working but i think its only my mobile facing a problem i want to stay bueatiful and super,but not like other routines i love candy crush saga its what controls half day of my life even if you want to solve the problem,i think you should take my mobile but that cant happen keep on working.still the bueatiful and the best rom ever seen keep working on kitkat happy with your work and will be happy even after

I havent had this issue at all.. have you turned off connection optimizer or froze it? I always freeze com.sec.miperrornotifier.. i never loose a connection

Ill try that and let you know but could it be my apn settings because they look diffrent from the sock back up i have

I dont know why ur apns would be different? My apns are stock no edits.

I froze it but i still get connection drops ?any other ideas?

I attatched a link in my rom for a duplicate copy of my build prop... its a worth a shot to flash it and see if there's a build prop issue..
Have you updated your profile and prl? Could just be a sprint issue.. may want to try setting phone to cdma only and turn roaming off.. it could be your phone jumping from 1 network to another. .
im not sure if this is rom related is it everywhere you go or just one location your at you have issues?

Expecially if 4g is new in your area you may be seeing issues with towers and not the build.. i dont get to see 4g much unless im 50 miles from where i live and thats only 2x a week.. it could very well be your phone trying to find the best connection between the 2..
Just re read your question and it kinda makes sense that its more then likely sprint service causing your issue

Experiencing generalized lag after flashing rom
Thank you for putting this all together. Love the ROM so far, except that I am experiencing a good bit of lag. I do not use Wanam or the Xposed framework, and never have. The lag is not confined to one program e.g. Hangouts, but rather I am seeing it in the app drawer, homescreen, Messages app, and in other areas. I am using Apex launcher instead of TouchWhiz. Would that be an issue? Could this be a kernel problem? Should I be tweaking cpu settings with an available app like SetCPU? I appreciate your help.

Are you on 2.0?
Did you dirty flash the rom?
I would do a full reset data and system and re flash. .

It was a clean flash, but I had been screwing around with different ROMs and kernels that day. Would flashing this from something other than stock affect things even if I had done a full factory reset/3x wipe before flashing? I will try from the ground up again and see what results I get.

Just wiped data/dalvik/cache 3 times then did a factory reset in TWRP, then flashed 2.0. Buttery smooth now. Awesome work. Thanks again!

i have the same problem bro , after i flashed from samfirmwre official rom of Spain ( also Germany ) my phone´s got lag , after a 10 15 minutes of playing @facebook or Playing clahs of clans , i need to restart ... i think is software problem ... We need to wait for the next update , or Android Lollipop 5.0

Same issues. I was on this ROM and it was great. I tried porting some ROMs and it never work. Clean flash back here and I had a lot of lag. Did a system restore back to stock without exposed and I still have lag. Something is messes up and the lag sucks. Now I am on stock with a crap load of lag. Did a factory wipe and same issues.
I am trying this now to see if it will fix the lag on stock.

Hey I've been lurking on xda for while now. I must give u props cuz this is the smoothest and most stable rom I've found for my note4. Great work, love the fact it works out the box with xposed. This rom is a major go in my book, haven't found any issues with it as of yet. Only been running for 24hrs tho. Plan on keeping until official tw lillipop hits.
