My friend want to root his phone, and I'm about to help him. His software number is 2.14.401.1, and I can't find the RUU file on htcdev for his strange software number. And when he search for updates, there isn't any. Can someone please help me? Post a RUU file or tell me what to do please

Really? How are we supposed to help you fix your phone from miles away with no info other than "bricked" and "help pls" ? We are not wizards. Come back with proper info like what you did, what device your on, hboot, radio, root/no root, s-on/s-off ect. Do this and people may actually be able on help you instead of having to write these kind of replies :banghead:

Hi everyone.
I am new here and i have searched the whole net for answers and you are my last hope.
I have a Zenfone selfie ZD551KL (Z00UDB), bought from china in april 2016. When i got it it had firmware version CN_1.13.40.661.20151103.
But recently someone told me i could update it to CN_1.15.40.1548, so we did :crying: manually, and wow i regret that. Everything is working fine except for Google play and everything that depends on google services. I can see the old firmware in the boot menu. I tried to downgrade to previous version but didnt work.
My question is of course if I can fix this somehow or can i throw my beloved phone away ?
I have searched for days now to find a tutorial for Z00UDB but cant find any.
Bootload unlocked and phone rooted.
Please please please help me.
