Stock kernel collection for SGY - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

...in the recent time I got several requests to extract x/y kernel image from a stock ROM.
Owing to SplitFUS2 now we (currently only me ) can extract any stock kernel image from the Samsung FUS images
Therefore I've made a "small" compilation of stock kernels for SGY.
Here's the link: Doky's SGY stock kernel collection
Tha main purpose to have stock kernel is, have recovery option in case you mess up your phone with testing custom kernels, and you want to go back to your base kernel.
Other case, when x or y kernel has issues (eg SD-card removed problem) and You want to try other kernels...

can you give me screenshot tutorial sir? i'm newbie here
i don't think terma kernel will solve your problem,
i've tried since the first time dxlc1 realesed, it didn't boot and you cannot access the recovery, so you must flash again using odin.
but if you wanna try, just give it a try, thanx
Just use link2sd[Root required]
If you are only concerned on moving apps to sdcard
It's lot easier...

[Q] Trouble with rom

Hi guys !
I'm new in this section, and my Note 2 is just rooted. Otherwise it's pure Samsung Rom.
I was looking for a way to install Omega Rom, but i'm kinda lost...
I've already read many tutorials, but...
The thing that i can't understand is, should i flash a compatible kernel, and then the rom i want, or is the kernel included in rom installation ?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers !
Stock kernel is compatible with omega.

Thanks for being so fast !
It's compatible that's a good point, but is that the best choice ?
You gotta test.
There are only 4 kernels including the stock one and excluding note 2 core (doesn't have sds fix)
You can see which fits you best. I use neak anyway.

Thank you guys ! Will try to do it ASAP !

There is little chance that Gorkhan will support our phone. He mentioned in his SiyahKernel thread that he has already got too much Samsung Phones, and he might skip ours.

the stock.img file that is in the above post IS the stock kernel..
The upload is not working. It will cause you to soft-brick at the Samsung T-Mobile screen upon boot. If you're looking for the G925T stock kernel, do not use the provided link above. Instead, download the G925T stock rom from an official source, open it with winwar, then copy the boot.img from there. Done. All you need.
